"the vibe there are few places in london, which I would like to return to the time. for many different reasons, few restaurants and bars are actually on the test of the time. quo vadis, capitancy of sam and eddie hard (from fino and barrafina) and chef jeremy lee, is like a fine wine and is simply better with old. quality is steadfast and never compromised for fashion, luxury is second nature, although never venerable and it is just a great place to have a great old time, no matter what time of day or year they visit. think back luxe laid, there is something clearly English about the deep south above this place; dress smartly or they will feel smartly. the expensive bubbles are always the right answer here so exercise intentionally when it works on a budget. an institution in london and for good reason. perfect for an breakfast date; exquisite menu and many fresh baked goods. take this gourmand(e) they have been poised for some time and maybe hang around until lunch, just because the order they hold the drink classic, and that should they also. do not go too far from the excellent cosmopolitan or espresso martini from the bar. the whiskey cocktails are damn good. Bar snacks are tempting and dig, that will not live itself. try the “Kickshaw” (I will not pamper him for them – they have to find out for themselves) or the smoked Aal sandwich for nibbles if not stick around. when they have a table in the restaurant, they go for their lives. choose from fantasies British dressed like warm salate from longhorn, plucked walnut and bark or mutton shoulder, wide beans and wild garlic. if they choose the appetizer menu, how some of them could be culture voltures only, they do not leave without two-openings of the mandel, blueberry and lemon fair. in others, the sticky toffee pudding is lovely. the game to get a table here can be tricky. they plan it in advance. it is a beautiful place for a drink (the inner bar has a cute corner banquet with strong canoodle inducing forces, there is a handful of soon-achin tables out perfect for summer drinks and people watching a deux) but it is also a safe thing for dinner. they can do this on two; either book a table in the bar for classic pre-dinner drinks in a quirky, British nay post-colonial setting and drive them to the latest restaurant opening in soho for dinner or try them somewhere like eccentric as the French house very close to an aperitif and book them at qw for a slap-up dinner. in the latter scenario, they can still use the cash later if they find that they are one of these woody allen-esque-geist dialogue marathons, even if it ends to be with themselves only. the mistakes are you sweating? another brandy alexander please, bar delicate sex factor 4. if it is not broken, not repair."

"eating was quite commendable and the service staff is terrible amiable, except that their linguistic skills have prevented them from explaining the times either in French or in English. the more in alignment of the deck made the place look more like the berliner hoff railway station. bad lighting and lack of love to detail the interior made the whole place on site with a high standard office kantine in the city, finally killing the feeling of intimacy in fine restaurants."

"The Staff were very attentive, The fact the restaurant has a good reputation ,I was disappointed that they had no Duck pate . I had Roast belly of pork for my main the presentation was good and the plate was hot. Unfortunately the pork was dry and a bit tough , it was not roast potatoes they were boiled, the veg was nice and colourful .The food was not hot it was warm as though it had been prepared on the plate and heated up. This was a special anniversary and for the cost it was disappointing. Had all these things been as it should have been it would have been a nice meal."

"I seem to be going against the crowd here, but I wasn't very impressed. The decor is lovely, and the service is good, but the food was pretty average. They do have a gluten free menu which is helpful, but I ordered the chicken in a cream sauce with mushrooms, and that was really not what I got. My chicken had been cooked in a red wine with lots of tomato, there were mushrooms, but the sauce was not creamy, and was barely thickened from the braising liquid. Hubby had gluten free pumpkin soup for starters and did like that, so I suppose the dishes were hit and miss."

"This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. They advertised chips with steak but gave us fries instead. The same thing happened with the fish and chips. We were overcharged and didn't receive half of our order until much later."

"We had a very pleasant evening overall. The ambience was very friendly and convivial. The service was professional and very attentive and the food was well prepared and very delicious. This being said, there were a few slip-ups. When we arrived the receptionist could not find our reservation and it took a while until they could find it. The portion sizes were very small and as a result the meal did not seem to be very good value."

"We really enjoy this restaurant, however, I was disappointed with my choice of food (vegetable stew and greens) as it was too salty for my taste and I couldn't eat the greens. I suggest allowing customers to adjust the salt content to their liking. I mentioned this issue to our very friendly Australian waitress when returning the item. Overall, the food was good apart from this issue."

"never before and heard many good comments. a table for our jubile meal. first disappointment was the professional printed card of the managing director who explains why there is now an additional premium on the menu price for certain steaks. we thought to be extremely dishonest as there is no mention of it on the website. we ordered our drinks and approx. 5 minutes later we ordered our meals only to say there were no fish or garnel. our starters came approx. 10 minutes later (no sign of drinks.) we ended our starters who were not brilliant and the plates were deleted. Finally our drinks arrived just before our net. the steak was in order, but we had better. I think that eating is very expensive, which creates a high expectation and this has not been fulfilled. the service was slow and safe not guarantee a service fee on the bill. Unfortunately, this is the first and only time we will visit a middletons steakhouse."

"Very disappointed. The manager had his mouth open of food whilst welcoming us. The server spilled sauce on my trousers then bought over KETTLE boiling Water for me to clean it. Then plain rice came 10 mins after the meat. The cashier came with the card machine mid eating and just stood there waiting for us to pay. No shisha available due to server saying it’ll be extra effort for him. Who does that? Not to mention it was my birthday! To top it all off! Highly not recommend to anybody, embarrassed I even spent my birthday here."

"Superb. The interior is sweet as you can see in all pictures. The service is wonderful, the staff is very attentive, friendly and understanding. The food is good and they are open to feedback. They gave good recommendations. They have their own toilets, which is beautiful, as the ladies' room of the Selfridges had a great queen. Would definitely recommend it. I went there alone at the Boxing Day, and they really made me feel like seeing and watching."

"This maybe the best steak I have EVER eaten. I ordered the British ribeye steak with green peppercorn sauce. It was absolutely wonderful and cooked to perfection. For a starter, I ordered the taramasalata which was very good. Although the dinning hall at Harrods can get very busy, I went for an early dinner and it was quite pleasant, quiet and calm. I will definitely go there again on my next trip to London. The Grill is very special! 5 star food !"

"My family and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, July 28th. We had 6 adults, a five-year-old, and a baby with us. This restaurant is local to us and we are familiar with it. It has a warm family atmosphere that is busy but not overly loud, with friendly staff who are attentive and cheerful without being pushy. The service is good even when it's busy, and the owner is very hands-on and greets everyone. We enjoyed a delicious rioja wine, along with tasty house wines. The starters, pizzas, and pasta were excellent and reasonably priced. The mains and specials, on the other hand, were a bit overpriced and the portions were small, although flavorful. Two in our group found them disappointing. Our pizza, the Anacapri, was a bit lackluster, undercooked, and bland, which is unusual as they are usually good. Nonetheless, it didn't ruin our evening, and we all had a good time, especially the kids. The staff didn't mind the children walking about and they even received special attention."

"The surroundings are very pleasant but unfortunately the gentleman that was providing the live entertainment was really pretty bad, however, the staff realising this did not let him play for very long they did go round asking the diners for their feedback. I had ordered meatballs which were cold when they brought them to the table but quickly changed them for me couldn't apologise enough. I found the staff very friendly they really made us smile making our evening very pleasant which I was delighted with as my husband I were treating our friends to dinner to celebrate their anniversary as we do every year. Entertainment aside we all had a very lovely evening. Thanks again."

"beautiful atmosphere, good eating so satisfied we have booked this in advance as it seemed to be fully booked. lively and loud Saturday evening, good atmosphere, tasty eating, pork two away and monks for net, brotbutter pudding made with croissant) for dessert, massive wine list, good service, loved it! would recommend it and return."

"Terrible experience. Table booked for 9pm but when we arrived it wasn't ready. They led us to the bar to wait there but the bar was full. So they seated us in the DJ booth for over 15 minutes. There were menus on the tables but no one came to take our order. The music was blasting so we couldn't have a conversation. Eventually we got our table. We ordered and tried to get out of there as quickly as possible as we couldn't talk. Why management are trying to turn a restaurant into a club is beyond me. There were a lot of older folks around and I don't think that was their vibe either. Food was mediocre at best. Wouldn't order the burger again."

"I took my man for date night and I was very hopeful about brasserie abode, as I did on my way to home from the work and the decor looks very stylish and beautiful. the black and white flowing and brass fantasies delight a jazz age ambiente supported by the music choices. the restaurant is down and the lighting and seating feel very intimate and cozy. the menu is a little small, but perfectly shaped, the only thing I would ask is the pricing of the starter at such a similar price point to some of the cheaper netzen. we decided to make a couple of baby cots before the main course, and then dessert. the food was beautifully presented on the right china (no silly boards or crooked here! and seasoned and sauces served in porcellan casting of muscheln. we chose the lobster spaghetti and a classic fish and chips, both were delicious light and crispy teig on the fish was perfect. both went well with a picpoul de pinet from the extensive wine list, a really excellent selection. there is a good selection of classic desserts, and sticky toffee pudding sent us to sit well after home. a beautiful meal for two for less than 90 £. we would definitely recommend and will go back to this restaurant!"

"As we were a group of 9 we were asked to pre-order, no problem. So no idea why we were kept waiting so long to be served the place was virtually empty. The potatoes in my raclette were fried (they should be boiled) and...burned and the cheese was meagre. How the chef managed to cook dauphinoise potatoes with absolutely no flavour is beyone me. And the creme brulee was pedestrian. Others in my party spoke better of their fishcakes and chicken. Perhaps i was just unlucky with my choices. The wine list is limited and totally lacking in detail (doesn't even given the abv of the wines) And the only word I can come up with to describe the service is surly. Spent all evening wishing we'd gone to the Ivy down the road"
"Having made a booking via OpenTable and receiving a confirmation email, 24 hours later had a phone call from Browns to say they could offer me a table at 5pm or 9pm but not at 7pm which was the time of my booking. No apologies just that the way it is. OpenTable just blamed Browns and said I could always phone the restaurant to confirm a booking, not seeing the ridiculousness of that suggestion as it renders their platform to irrelevance. So I am giving an all round one star, but to be clear we did not eat there."

"Love the convenience of this restaurant. A little luxury in an otherwise busy and stressful place. However 15% service plus £1.50 cover charge per head all adds up to too much. The staff were very friendly during our visit in August 2022 and got my 5 stars. Several menu choices were unavailable and it seemed like although the restaurant was only half full, we were all crammed into one half. The staff did their best to make up for this."

"Probably the most satisfying meal I've ever eaten anywhere, and I enjoy eating out. The quality was top-notch, as was the service! I'm probably classed as a slightly picky eater now, only a few things I can't stand, and willing to try things I swore I would never eat previously (hence the snail and the rabbit). A very nice main, nothing to compare it to, but it didn't feel or taste overdone and the potatoes, mushrooms and mustard sauce were a very nice accompaniment. Especially the potatoes. The duck was a bit tough on the outside, but the inside looked good (I only tried a bit of the outside as it wasn't mine) and the chips were nice. I didn't get the waiter's name so I'll ask, if he's there, when I go back. The menu made everything sound good, which is rare. I don't eat meat when out unless the welfare standards and quality are assured, which they are here, so I have free reign! I want to try everything at least once, but the baked Alaska made me gush to everyone I speak to about it and want to drag them right there specifically for it, although I also want all of the other food... Choices, choices."
