"Probably the most satisfying meal I've ever eaten anywhere, and I enjoy eating out. The quality was top-notch, as was the service! I'm probably classed as a slightly picky eater now, only a few things I can't stand, and willing to try things I swore I would never eat previously (hence the snail and the rabbit). A very nice main, nothing to compare it to, but it didn't feel or taste overdone and the potatoes, mushrooms and mustard sauce were a very nice accompaniment. Especially the potatoes. The duck was a bit tough on the outside, but the inside looked good (I only tried a bit of the outside as it wasn't mine) and the chips were nice. I didn't get the waiter's name so I'll ask, if he's there, when I go back. The menu made everything sound good, which is rare. I don't eat meat when out unless the welfare standards and quality are assured, which they are here, so I have free reign! I want to try everything at least once, but the baked Alaska made me gush to everyone I speak to about it and want to drag them right there specifically for it, although I also want all of the other food... Choices, choices."

Excellent French food and wine in an atmospheric restaurant. The service is precise, efficient and friendly. Fantastic value. The tart tatin is a real treat. One of my favourite London restaurants, without a doubt.

we went to this French restaurant for the birthday of a friend! entering this restaurant was one of the first things I noticed that it was much more spacious than what I expected and the lighting was just the right one for an evening.

Enjoyed a lovely family Sunday lunch here. The food was very good, lots of choice, for starters and mains. Very traditional bistro style food, lots of good rich flavours and well cooked. Some French classics available ie snails. Would definitely go again.

Amazing place! We went yesterday for the first time there with my husband.(to celebrate my Birthday). I loved the interior, the music, the atmosphere and the most important food, from the starter till the dessert everything was so delicious! I would definitely come back again!

The restaurant used to be a culinary Colossus of the area. Back in the day it served beef Rossini and ossobuco. These are sadly no longer on the menu. Instead I had the fish soup (a bit underwhelming and could be warmer) and a fish (good). Would still return .... The decor needs a bit of an update after all these years...

I love the atmosphere here! Amazing art work and the dramatic curtain inset is really charming how to get blurred into another world. I made my partner here for his birthday on recommendation of a friend, it was really special. eating was amazing. rind meat rossini yum foie gras, bark meat filet, rich red wine sauce perfect! loved the fried baked alaska it was so great, glad that we split it, but I can not wait to come back and try the rest of the dessert list. the personal was professional and yet warm our French waitress recommended an amazing Chilean wine somewhat strange for a French restaurant, but very good. can not recommend this restaurant very much.
