"We feel honest about Le Chalet is one of the best kept secrets in Leeds! This was our third visit and it became more and more pleasant every time we were! The staff (especially the owner/manager) is an absolute pleasure. They are always very friendly and welcoming plus, they know how to give each customer this personal note when providing their exceptionally high customer service and always with a smile. Nothing is cumbersome and they couldn't come any more! We have always appreciated ourselves in Le Chalet and this occasion was no exception! The selection of options on the menu is sufficiently large, so there is really something for everyone with many unique items that you fight to find somewhere else! During this visit we had the hot afternoon tea that we can no longer recommend! It was literally the best Afternoon Tea we ever had in every sense of the word! The portion sizes are fantastic, the taste and the aromas are purely exotic and the presentation is mesmerizing, so the whole setup excellent value for money! Special highlights for us were the chicken pasta bakers and the shells that were super freshly decorated and served. Every single article on our Afternoon Tea was exceptional quality and that is quite accurate! Le Chalet also had a wide selection of beautiful teas with a whole range of fabulous flavors. If you gently open the petals as if they flower in your drink when ordering the jasmine fairy tea is an extraordinary extra touch and bizarre quite entertaining. Le Chalet itself has a very special atmosphere and we felt very relaxed and comfortable during our visit! The layout, distributed on two levels, has a bit of balcony feel to it and is spacious, bright and warm furnished for all seasons. The magnificent chandelier hanging above the lower part adds an exquisite air of the class that is almost stunning when you see it first. What Le Chalet gives that something extra though, is the little touches that make you feel good! On the counter there is a small bowl of tiny folded pieces of paper perched with a small shield above, which says a quote. This little gesture made us feel not only satisfied, but, really inspired and we think that is a rare performance for a café / restaurant! If you haven't visited yet, you have no idea what you're missing. We are looking forward to our next visit! Le Chalet is not only the jewel in the crown, it is the precious pearl!"

"positiw: the personal was amazing . very helpful and friendly. the latte was really pleasant and tasty and the glues were good. the amount of food was just right and the speck and sausages tasted ok. the toilets were clean and accessible. the personal sat next to a mini-heater, in which we were cold, which we could turn off after we had warmed up something. negative: the pancakes were terrible. after a few bites, my mouth felt punctual and I thought I had a reaction. my companion also said they had a strange taste and terrible after taste. I spoke to the staff and they thank me for letting them know because the bicarb baking powder can have been too high. they offered us something else to eat, but when we were in a hurry, they took the pancakes from the bill. they were fabulous at all the cached and very apologetic these things happen, so they don't sweat it! Overall, I would give them another go and say it was not a bone tag for the pancakes."

"This is the best dessert place in blackpool hands down always deliver on time the staff are so polite and honest its just wonderful to see. Whenever I treat my kids, I asked them what they want and they instantly say 'Mr Nitros ' and when I do get one for them without asking, the amount they cheer and celebrate is just delightful. "This is an excellent spot for desserts! We visited Edinburgh for a holiday and ended up going there several times. They strictly adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, thoroughly cleaning tables and seats and requiring masks. The staff is fantastic—very friendly and welcoming. And the food! Their waffles are among the best I've ever tasted! I highly recommend the caramel and shortbread blowout waffle!"

"We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. Although we had to wait about 10 minutes due to a situation behind us, it wasn't an issue at all. They even surprised us with a complimentary drink as a gesture. Our bill also came with a delightful nightcap and some chocolate. The staff was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was just right, and the menu offered a fantastic selection. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to return!"

"The food is lovely here, however they need to fix the service aspect of the restaurant as it was absolutely atrocious. There were 3 waiting staff, all young boys and another lad dressed in black who was trying his best, there was no direction, there was no management support, there was a man who was suited who popped in twice but never stayed and helped, the poor young boys seemed out of their depth. We ordered our meal when they came to take our initial drinks order as already I observed they seemed to be undirected. The starters and mains arrived timely, then when they came to take away our empty main course plates we asked for dessert menus, 45 minutes later we were still waiting, we managed to get one of the boys attention as they all go around with their heads down, not observing what is happening around them at all. We then were left with our menus for another 15 minutes, which at this point I had had enough, I said to the young lad in black when we got his attention and he came over that no we now didn't want any desserts, as we had been waiting about an hour to get them. He shrugged, went and got the bill and put it on our table, no apologies, no interaction, nothing, customer service non existent. I went and complained to the hotel receptionist on leaving, she apologised and said she would pass onto management. I hope she did, as the service received did the hotel a total dis service, and I and my family are local and regulars here."

I ordered a dessert plate with melted chocolate drizzled on it, with a candle underneath and a variety of fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. There were also two types of brownies included. The food was very tasty. However, the menu has since changed and this particular plate is no longer offered. The staff are typically friendly, although there have been instances where they seemed a bit aloof."

"Visited this disgusting dessert shop today. I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream and waited. I then asked the assistant if there was any way she could do the order as I had a car waiting outside. She said it wasn't possible so I said that's OK I'll wait. Then, the man who was doing the orders (who looked very miserable and stressed preparing orders) came over and verbally attacked me for no reason and without no provocation. I was afraid he was going to get physical. He was abusive and ranted for ages at me. He shouted at me for no reason in front of a full shop, swearing and insulting me. He threatened me into agreeing that I was grateful for him doing the order. He carried on for 5 minutes being verbally and almost physically aggressive. I listened and then responded in my defence. I was determined to take my order as a little boy waiting outside would have been very disappointed. The whole shop was watching his threatening behaviour. This man would not have degraded a man. He was an asian man; sexist and was intimating me as I was an asian woman. This is a disgusting dangerous man. WOMEN should avoid this shop as this man is dangerous. He apparently was the shop owner's brother. Never seen or experienced such vile customer service. Boycott this shop. This Muslim man thinks he can degrade women. Vile human. Vile shop. I did report him to the police and logged the incident"

"I am ashamed to state that after 12 years passing by , as I noticed this pub had changed hands many times , I booked a meal for two last Saturday evening and I was so happily surprised! The pub is so cosy in half light and just such a kind and warming place. The staff are fantastic and the food equally fantastic. I had thought , ok, pub food but it was all natural and home cooked. You can take your dog too! There was a man singing which added to the ambience. What a great place and that will teach me for not stopping by before ! Don’t judge a book by its cover! The Monkland Arms is a fantastic place to eat and to chill with friends! Well done to you !"

"Scoop is a nice little cafe for gelato and dessert.Opposed to regular ice-creams, gelato is whipped more.They have a wide selection of gelato and sorbets.I tried torroncino with hazelnuts and this extra dark chocolate thing.The taste is incredibly creamy! The waffles and crepes were delicious but pricey but the crepe has way too much chocolate sandwiched within it.Notably exquisite are their fruit sorbets I can't seem to have enough of their passion fruit, strawberry and mandarin.In the summer it's usually busy and there's always a queue, but it is worth to wait for your turn."
