"Easy to get to, nice seating. Service was slow, expensive meals with chips!! Poor choice of food for children. Poor quality burger for child's meal, poor choice of lettuce with cheap quality buns. Hubby had a large burger but he was very disappointed with his. Having said that, my tuna was delicious, nicely cooked well presented, nicely portioned. If all standards followed this dish, stars awarded would be higher. Overall disappointing experience due to higher price comes with higher expectations! We will not be returning anytime soon. Improvements suggested: customer service, menu choices and quality/price."

However, while many might roll their eyes at requests for lactose-free meals, the staff here quickly provided me with a customized menu to accommodate my needs. For £10, we enjoyed a breakfast that looked just like the pictures, complete with hot drinks, and we ordered some toast on the side. "--- First of all, this is the best place I’ve been to with my best friend. For some reason, we often find ourselves at restaurants where the quality of food doesn't match the price, but that was not the case here. I’ll break my review down into sections, starting with the quality of the food. **Quality of Food:** I couldn’t fault it at all. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we both agreed on that. The fish and burger were particularly memorable; neither of them left us feeling sluggish or unwell because they were cooked to perfection. They had a homemade feel and were healthy yet filling—way better than a greasy fish and chips joint or a typical burger place. Everything was served hot and met very high standards. For starters, we shared some garlic bread, which was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. It was a generous portion for two, and it came with a sharp knife, allowing us to cut it into eight pieces—four satisfying pieces each. For dessert, they had some great options, like honeycomb milkshakes and other unique offerings that you don’t often see, but sadly, they ran out of what my friend wanted. We ended up going for the classic vanilla milkshake and fudge cake, which I can confidently say was amazing. It was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time! It was so creamy, and the vanilla ice cream was anything but boring; it tasted exactly like proper vanilla should. **Price of Food:** We were pleasantly surprised when our bill came to just £37, especially considering the generous portions we received. It was absolutely worth the price. Just a note about leaving tips: if you want to tip by card, you need to ask the staff to add it into the card machine because they have to input the amount manually. **Staff:** The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Even the bartenders noticed my friend’s shopping bag and kindly found a plastic bag for them. **Service:** The service was prompt, and if we needed more time before ordering dessert, they happily accommodated us. Since we visited on a Monday, it wasn’t too busy, which meant we could enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. **Variety of Menu:** They offered an extensive menu with so many options. Even as someone who can be quite picky, I found plenty of choices to satisfy my cravings. There wasn’t a huge variety of desserts, but the options they had were excellent. **Cleanliness:** Everywhere seemed immaculate, including the cutlery. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I was so impressed by the care that was shown by all the workers to absorb the vegan nutrition of my family. both our waitress and the manager checked, then double checked (without any request) the ingredients of the courts we chose, so we are completely confident in what we ordered. admittedly, the options that were available to us were quite slim, but what we had was delicious and satisfying - the veggie fajitas came with wimpers of salsa and guacamole with a mountain of well seasoned vegetables. To be honest, it would have been great to have the possibility of some vegan “cheese” and sour cream / yogurt, but I will still be 5 stars because of the fantastic setting of the staff and the fact that we actually ate in a comfortable mainstream restaurant and had a meal that was really nice. I wouldn't usually choose a chain restaurant, but I'm going to come back in the future, as I know I'm going to take care of it. Thank you!"

"I chose this restaurant for my 13-year-old daughter's birthday celebration with a few friends. The desserts were amazing, but I wanted to comment on how brilliant the staff were. Despite me arriving much later than planned and without prior notice, I asked if I could put up decorations and leave a birthday cake to present later. "Bad service, waited min just for starters, the all restaurant was very smoky, the main dishes take long to arrive and were burn, the taste was awful! Rarely had any check backs to our table. "Found Kimchee when looking for a place to have dinner. Had to wait for a table, while waiting had a gin, very tasty. Just missing some seats while we wait for table. Foodwise me and my boyfriend shared vegetable dumplings (very good! , a avocado salad (just ok and the main dish made of rice and beef which was good but could be improved with more flavour (we used the sauce from the dumplings . For dessert we had panacotta which was very enjoyable. Would go back for another meal!"

"One specific Staff member was rude from the get go, and continued to be rude at the till, and we were refused to speak with the manager about a complaint we had, when querying the drastic inflation of price the girl in the till said ‘no that’s not been the price’ then she reviewed the previous price and said ‘oh that’s right’ but never apologised for the telling off my mum received and convinced her she was wrong, was never offered a receipt And don’t bother to reply with a snarky reply as to why that behaviour is appropriate, we can see from your replies that you don’t give a toss for reviews when really you should take it on board and fix the attitudes"

"The service at Coast is always exceptional, but one disappointment is the limited vegetarian options. During my last visit, I enjoyed the halloumi burger, but it was not available this time. Instead, it had been replaced by a sweet potato and bean burger, which was also unavailable. However, the waiter kindly offered to get a halloumi burger for me, which was wonderful. I just don’t understand why they can’t offer both options, along with alternatives to burgers. There are so many delicious non-meat dishes to choose from—why limit the menu? That said, we will definitely return, as the restaurant is a favorite for the whole family. I'm also glad I found a discount code, as I do think the prices are on the higher side."

"we really enjoyed our meal here. came to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Unfortunately, we were not told during our booking that we would only have 90 minutes of the table, as we felt in a hurry and on cursing a bad decision from the office hardly jumped fair on the staff. my main meal was pork belly it was divine 10/10 my man had the rib and he was very happy with him cooked to his lust. I decided for the mont blanc from the festive menu for dessert it was such a disappointment 1/10 bought in meringue very small chestnut and saw chocolate drops that were more like what they melted down for tempting. cote should improve or take it from the menu. I have let the server know of my unmut, unfortunately I have paid the full price for it. our drinks were well made and the wee was excellent, the employees were very friendly and efficient, especially the cookies served. so close to getting 5 stars."

"this place was fantastic. I am from California and ed’s was a wonderful memory of home. this place feels like the 50s and it puts a smile on her face when she in. I have a big ed’s burger and it was delicious (have a tweebel ring and speck on it, I mean, come it.) eating here has given me the feeling as if I had worth my money. the drinks are a bit expensive, but if you get water, a pornstar, and one side, it's not too bad. the service was good, we were greeted at the door and immediately got a place. the dings were busy and we have to eat quickly. I would definitely go back!"
