"I loved eating at Sartoria: i was at Sartoria on a date, me and my partner enjoyed the food and the cosiness of the venue. the food was high quality and the staff members looked after as. Shout out to Leonardo (restaurant manger), Roberto and Carla for looking after us."

"Went for lunch and found that the food and service was of high quality. They catered for my wife who has an egg allergy and even discounted her food which is unheard of, in these times. The staff were very friendly and professional and although the Sunday menu is limited (understandable due to the pandemic), the food was great and good value for money. They also had a live musician who was brilliant. We will book again and try the more varied menu in the near future. Also the location is a few minutes from Regents park and ideal for a lovely stroll afterwards. finally, thank you to the staff and management for making it a lovely experience at THE NEW INN."

"I’d been looking forward to a meal here for many years and after our experience I had to wonder why. The food was mediocre and that’s being kind. We thought we were off to a good start, as the mackerel beetroot rhubarb and fresh horseradish hit all the right notes. The fish was lightly pickled, as were the other elements, each done in a slightly different brine, and it was fun, playful and tasty. The rest of the meal was a mess. A boiled artichoke was simply plunked on a plate and served with a thick vinaigrette. This is something we do at home all the time, but getting the inedible choke out was a real chore with a fork and dull knife- who wants to fight with their food at these prices? Mains were both hugely disappointing. A tough bit of sliced lamb rump was served with an oily mint sauce which didn’t do a thing for the dish. My pie of rabbit and Guinea fowl was full of bone. The sauce inside the pie was not creamy and rich but rather a very thin broth. While the flavour of the broth was good, it just didn’t belong underneath a crust. When I questioned the server he said that if a pie contains either rabbit or Guinea fowl, traditionally it’s served this way. I have to wonder why. We had some just okay drinks to start, and a glass of very ordinary Champagne with the mains. Though we were really looking forward to desserts which sounded delicious, we knew at this point they probably wouldn’t be so asked for the cheque. The room is nice and service was okay, but the food was inexcusable at this price. Sadly it seems like a tourist trap- the best thing about it? The cute menus."

"We came in for afternoon tea and had a great time. The tea, cakes and prosecco were really nice. We enjoyed every single part and time we spent there. The cost is perfect for what you get and very enjoyable. Recommend this place for a nice tea time for a special occasion."

"Stars, from the décor to the service to the food, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The ambience was elegant and inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the dishes were expertly prepared and delicious. I would highly recommend Stars to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience."

"I’ve eaten at Andersen’s many times, and this is the first time I’ve done so as part of a larger group. The food, service and atmosphere are simply excellent. The food is well presented and of high quality (and it’s always nice when your fillet steak is cooked as requested). I can’t recommend them highly enough. I brought some friends who were visiting me from the USA, and they had a wonderful time. A great venue for both couples and larger groups."

"please allow me to add my bit to the overall rating. Actually, I'm surprised I'm letting you say that. I was in other caffes in the juweler district, but this one is actually standing for me. because it doesn't cost them 10€ to the breakfast and what they get is definitely more than what they pay. £5.50 for a breakie, and pate is loaded. I know you say it's just a breakie, but how many times did you fail? it is a simple task, but as the first meal of the day they want it well done and it is the prizes are great staff is super beautiful. in any case comes back."

"we are here to bell felix at the bottom of shawlands, where newlands begins, for the strange sandwich lunch since the opening two years ago, but have meaning to try out their evening menu since the beginning of the opening late. we thought it was just the same menu in the night, i.e. a local cafe menu. we were wrong! salt and chilli squid, wild mushroom arancini and venision bourguignon all functions on the night menu. that is more gastro-sub than local caffe. excellent witness!"

"I just wanted to warn with toptable users that when we arrived at spoon, they had no record of our booking, as they said they had no more to do with toptable. I am really not sure why they are still listed on the website, but best to book directly if they want to go. regarding the place in itself, we enjoyed our early evening, the visit of spoon, although I felt it was not a fantastic price-performance ratio. the room is quirky, although perhaps not scattered enough to feel the huge space really intimate or home. the personal is friendly, and eating was solid when unspectacular. I think it's a nice place for brunch and paper, but not back to dinner."
