"Considering your post what a shame that your manager chose to shame my girlfriend and I on a recent visit for a meal because we are exempt from wearing masks. On two occasions we told staff we were exempt and had it shouted across the establishment that we need to have a mask on as we waited to be seated. Also then for a member of staff to ask us to wait whilst they ask their manager if we are able to be allowed in. Upon being seated the manager, who I have to add has been great on previous recent visits and always welcoming and friendly, then came over and again asked why we didn 't have masks on and that we needed letters as PROOF and that anyone can claim to be exempt . This was done with zero discretion and in front of other customers. There is no legal obligation to provide proof and that is on the official government website, my girlfriend checked this after the manager walked away. We both felt totally embarrassed to have been asked further in front of other customers and to have to be told we have to provide proof of our exemption. The dealing of the whole situation was disgusting and to be spoken to in such a manner for having an exemption. My girlfriend felt we should have said something after the meal but we chose not to. I fully understand this year is a testing time for everyone and especially the hospitality trade at the moment with curfews also but of all days please show some understanding and awareness that people have good reason to be exempt from wearing a mask and beyond a visible reason. I just hope you are more welcome to future customers regarding the wearing of masks and don 't choose to belittle and shame them in front of other customers. There are several reasons for being exempt of wearing a mask, one being them causing distress and anxiety, with relevance to today and your post, so I hope you can please show more understanding in future."

"I should have realised when I saw that only one table inside was occupied yesterday evening and 2 separate tables outside with 2 at each that only ordered beer. Outside on the top ine of a menu placard was 'stuffed vine leaves '. I like dolmades (as known) so ordered them for takeaway asking for then NOT TO BE HEATED as usually served cool.. One would have expected them to fresh and readily available as a special.2nd mistake. 20 minutes later still the one only table which had drinks only, I was handed a bag with a sealed polystyrene carton and exuding heat. 20 mins later after walking home there was still heat and same when I opened the carton. It was blatantly obvious they had been microwaved from the freezer. and NOT FRESH. in the carton were, golf bell sized rounds and a hard dark brown outer with dark dry stale rice and a hefty addition of middle eastern spices. Inedible and disgusting. Not fit for consumption. There was only the one person working and he was wearing a stained grubby T shirt. He needs to check a recipe for genuine Dolmades. They should be wrapped in FRESH green vine leaves with a herb (mint or similar) fresh rice and rolled into sausage shapes rolls and boiled until TENDER not solid, dark brown dried out vine leaves (if that was they were, though impossible to tell. This establishment needs a visit from an inspector to check the kitchen, its contents and hygiene.. r"

"Hello, we booked three of us in for mother's day at my mother's request. The food was awful it took ages and was cold on arrival. I had the Middleton grill firstly the ribs were frozen not fresh I had three sections of ribs but all cooked as a lump where they had cooked from frozen. The chicken was frozen as it was dry and rubbery with a piece of fried chicken skin on top to simulate being cooked fresh it crimped up as it had been in a too hot fryer. The best bit was th steak it was a rib eye that was half fat and one end stank like cheese/ sour and was slimy to eat so I stopped eating that. Not an ideal meal my mum's steak and fries was good thankfully but my other halfs rib eye was fatty and the Mac and cheese also cold. The best edible part was the loaded fried nice and hot and crunchy sadly that was it the meat here is poor. Upon telling the server about my steak she came back and said chef had checked all the lamb as I had lamb which was incorrect I feel for the waitress as they were spot on sending out poor food but happy to help. The other thing also is please get the chef a bell or intercom to let the waitress the food is ready Instead of screaming service every two minutes when the waitress clearly can't hear miles away the other side of the resteraunt. A shame but we will not be back we visited a few years ago and it was really good"

"이 리뷰는 한국어와 영어로 쓰였습니다. This reciew is written in both Korean and English. I went this place to buy Fortnum Mason tea for presents and this place is definitely better place to buy teas than the one in piccadilly. The staffs here are super friendly which made the whole shopping experience extremly satisfying. It is much less crowded than the piccadilly store so you can take your time. If you are not up to buy the Rare teas which are only offered in individual packaging, you would be able to find everything you want. Also you can buy in individual packaging for normal teas if you want to. It has a special blend named Royal Exchange Blend only sold in this store. I prefer this one to the original royal blend. This store is the latest built one among the Fortnum Masons so it is super clean. I highly recommend this place!!!"

"Newcastle Village Hotel, you can’t REALLY expect to deliver a shoddy cash-grabbing experience like the party of 09/12/2017 and not be called out on it. £30.00 for a turkey dinner? Maybe, for a quality Norfolk bird with ALL the trimmings cooked to perfection; absolutely NOT for this spew. In fact the difference between what it said on the menu and what was served up is so brazen that one can almost admire the cheek of it. The “Proscuitto Wrapped Turkey Breast” was not wrapped in ANYTHING: it was just cheap-tasting turkey breast, like cash and carry stuff. Likewise the “pigs in blankets” HAD NO BLANKETS: They were just cocktail sausages, and not quality ones but the type that contain trotters, ears and lips. The stuffing made Paxo taste like the work of a culinary master by comparison, and the only things I’ve EVER tasted that were soggier than the roast potatoes were the roast parsnips in the next tray along. I can’t comment on the sprouts or carrots as I don’t like either: it would have been nice to have had a greater choice. When the hotel emailed us the menu weeks earlier it asked about any dietary needs, so we advised that one of our party had a gluten intolerance. If he expected a bespoke meal he was sadly mistaken: on the night he was just told not to eat the sausages or the stuffing. Two and a half hours later, following complaints, the man who seemed to be in charge offered to knock up some gluten-free pasta. It was way too late by then. To be fair this has been my experience of Christmas parties over the years: the food is invariably overpriced and substandard yet enough people are persuaded to cough up in advance to make them highly lucrative ventures. It’s a cynical business, and the Village Hotel is down there with the worst of them. Oh yeah, and my cracker contained this tiny little spinning top."
