"Always go by and the food smells delicious, decided to order with them for home delivery. We ordered the Paneer Achari (yes it was so spicy as it says that this was not a favorite with my guest, but I really enjoyed it), Drunken Lamb (we will definitely order again, very tasteful), the rice, with both dishes (big portion size) and finally the Ferrero Desert, which was delicious I just wish they made a larger version of it! Will be ordered again. Delivery time was also good!"

"My boyfriend and I used to frequent the restaurant/takeaway on Dumbarton Road, but have recently stopped going as often due to the lack of friendliness. We used to order our takeaway in the restaurant and enjoy a drink while chatting with the man taking our order. However, they now lock the restaurant and do not allow customers to wait inside or have drinks in the unlicensed takeaway. This was disappointing as we enjoyed the atmosphere and socializing while waiting for our food. Overall, the staff at Papa Gill's are not friendly and the food quality has declined. We will be going to The Ettrick in Old Kilpatrick instead, where we can enjoy great food in a warm and inviting environment. If you are looking for a friendly and enjoyable Indian takeaway experience, go to The Ettrick."

"I have ordered through uber eats, if one of items were good out of 3 I ordered i would have given it 5 star, wings with chips smelt like they were gone bad, cheesy chips were sticking together like glue, seemed like they melted cheese in micro and poured on it, And lets not talk about burnt lamb chops with no flavour at all, 90 percent food went to bin straight away."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious, but their non-delivery service is a major let down. We waited 50 minutes for our delivery this time, and had a similar experience in the past when a 30 minute order took over an hour. The website said it would be 45 minutes this time, but when we called to inquire about the delay, we were told the driver was 'on his way'. When we asked how much longer it would be, we were told it would be another 20-30 minutes. This would have made it a total of 70-80 minutes from the time of ordering. When we tried to clarify how it could be both 'on his way' and '20-30 minutes more', we were met with silence and no attempt to resolve the issue. We decided to cancel the order, and were thankful that we had chosen to pay with cash on delivery, as it gave us that option. We will not be giving this restaurant a third chance, that is for sure."

"I enjoy Lamb, but rarely order it from Indian or Kebab restaurants, as it is often tough and disappointing. The Everest is more expensive, but with the good reviews I decided to take the chance. I ordered Lamb Madras and some other items, for home delivery. I then managed to doze-off and sleep through the attempted delivery. All my fault! When I finally woke-up, at around 11pm, I called the restaurant and they were super-helpful and offered to deliver my order the following evening. Something they didn’t need to do. The next evening the food arrived and was excellent! The lamb was buttery, tender, and aromatic. And there was a general superior quality from the delivery man to the packaging, but most of all the food itself. So far, in Ashford, my best Indian food experience to date. Well done The Everest."

"nasi lemak court so terrible, presentation are good. but the rice is too dry. I can see that the dry rice grains do not hold together. normally rice once cooked is soft and moist. very disappointed it looks like it had been reheated in many times. we were on lunch at 12:30. very dissatisfied! it is my first to visit one last. will not go back there."

"the food was good in bengal bertie’s in north finchley, but the restaurant urgently needs more staff, it was half an hour between our poppadoms and in the position to order the rest of the food. they were not busy in the restaurant itself there were only 2 other tables, but the constant stream of Takeaway calls meant that the waiter was constantly on the pone."

"I have ordered from this restaurant several times through Just Eat and have always been impressed with the quality of the food for takeout. They offer a good selection of dishes made with genuine meat and tasty vegetarian options. The food is flavorful, well-prepared, and comes in generous portions. "Ordered takeaway online Message said collect in Arrived on Tim only to be told that the machine hadn’t printed my order. Young girl behind the counter hand wrote it and took it to the kitchen. minutes later food arrived. Chilli mushrooms that came...with some salad that looked as though it had wilted a couple of days ago. That went straight into the bin. Mushrooms soon followed. Went to the main and plain naan Chilli chicken and rice. Chicken was Luke warm at best and chewy. The sauce was very watery and had a sweet after taste, not a pleasant one either. Needless to say that followed the starter into the bin. The naan bread was supposed to be just a bog standard plain one. It was oranges on top and burnt underneath and like trying to rip thick cardboard and impossible to chew. I did try but it tasted like cooking fat that has been used beyond endurance and also had the same weird flavour that the sauce for the main had. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. You have to decide for yourself if you get food from there."

"Disappointed with the food this time, as previously they food tasted way better. The naan bread tasted quite sour, it was hard and chewy. Also the tarka dhall didn't taste right. Don't know if it was because the food was cooked by a different chef or whether it was rushed as the restaurant was closing soon, (even though we had ordered 2 hrs before).The mixed grill however was okay."

"I have been to monsoon a fair few times and I can’t say anything is wrong with it. We didn’t book and went on a Tuesday evening I thought it wouldn’t be too busy but it was rammed ! We were seated at the bar to await a table and only waited about 15 minutes or so. Waiters are all very friendly and accommodating. Food was lovely, garlic breads I thought were on the small size but tasted really nice and same goes for our food. Only think I would suggest is that I don’t drink alcohol and wanted a non alcoholic mock tail which they told me they couldn’t do. That all the cocktails are pre mixed so couldn’t just make a mock tail without adding the alcohol which was disappointing as my husband was on the JD and I had to stick to a coke ! Decor as normal is lovely and the atmosphere was great! We will return as we have done many times. Parking out front was limited due to it being busy but we managed to park."

"After a long and tiresome day tour through dying we looked for a nice evening meal and we were glad that we were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. came on a quiet Thursday night to dinner with my kumpels, and we all were happy to eat every bit of what we ordered. we were greeted by a smile by a young male staff and sitting on the stand. our drink order was immediately removed and delivered in no time. we always ask for recommendations where we ever visit, the lady staff was probably new, so they had on the same young chap that had known about the menu. began with tandori platter and onion bhaji on the side. followed by 3 curries of medium (garam masala), hot (methi gosht) and spicy (coconut madras) 3 rice and 2 cheese n garlauch naan brot. enjoyed every bite of our meal. so delicious and meat was so tender. prices are average, but the portion size is huge. very impressed by eating and service. will be back to death at the next visit."

"We visited the restaurant on Thursday, June 13th and were thoroughly impressed. The small and cozy staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They were able to accommodate my vegan partner, who often struggles to find suitable dishes at other restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to ensure she had a satisfying meal. The food itself was cooked perfectly, and I highly recommend the tandoori duck starter and the chicken Peshwari Special. The menu offered a wide variety of options to cater to every taste. We will definitely be returning."
