Tender chicken simmered in a rich, spiced curry sauce with aromatic herbs and a touch of coconut milk.

"We booked by telephone after leaving a voicemail message... they call back and confirmed they could fit us in for a table of 9.. the waiter suggested we all have a mix tandor. Starter... assume this wpuld make it easy for the kitchen even thou the place was less than 1/2 full.... The starters where very nice... no probs.... Then the main course... everyone thought the food was very bland no spice or flavor to the meals... being the brave fool I wanted to send my meal back as I had selected a spicy kabab from the Cheifs special menu... so I expected some spicy and a bit of taste... both of which where lacking... I tried to get a watiers attention for 5 mins... and no one aas maming sure the table was happy... the only way I got attention was to phone from the table to ask for a waiter.... !!!!... never had to do that before... sent my meal back reordered a Balti of which they just made HOT probs to teach a customer who had dared to complain.. Never going back which is a shame as I entertain at least 5 or 6 customers every month.... too much goid food on offer in the area to go through that again....."

"We came here as it's local to where my friends live. We had made a reservation online but got no confirmation back, so we went in the night before to check, and they said it was fine. When we arrived Saturday night, there was no table reserved for the 5 of us, but they quickly set one up. We ordered a bottle of wine and was told the only wine they had was 2 out of the 5 on the menu, which was the most expensive 2 bottles. We ordered the Pinot grigio as it was Italian. When it came, it wasn't what was on the menu it was from Chile. That is actually illegal. When we wanted to order food, we had to ask as it had been 35 minutes wait. We ordered our food and, by this time, needed more drinks to be told someone else had to do the drinks order! The food came, and I can only speak for my food. I ordered lamb pasanda, there literally was 5 pieces of tiny, and I mean tiny pieces of lamb. And they were very fatty and chewy. The others I was with said there's was ok. Service was ok. Restaurant very dark and a bit drab."

"I’ve had the Tastecard a little while now, but never got around to using it. The restaurants featured on the program are largely chain-based. Or not very good ones. So this is my first experience with that in hand. BananaTree is located in the heart of Soho making it an ideal spot to catch up with a friend from the office. The deal meant buy-one-get-one-free so we had a lot of food for not a lot. A good start. Our order consisted of the chicken wings, money bags along with our mains of the beef rendang curry and the pad thai. The fried wings are very good. Messy, sticky and lots of sauce. They offer a recipe for their tantalising wings on their website. It all looks well and good and I get excited up to a point. Then I realise, and decide it’s too many ingredients and too much work. It is one of the most popular appetisers at Banana Tree, and easy to understand why. The rendang was just above average, the meat tasted a bit dry and there wasn’t enough curry for my liking. The beef is quite chunky, and of good quality so its got that going for it. Banana Tree feels like yet another whitewashed Asian-inspired food restaurant in London. Others that come to mind: East Street and Dim T. Dishes across Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam all meld into one being rather than having each of its own elements celebrated. The first store opened a staggering twenty one years ago and now its eight stores it may have traded that authenticity with domination. The venue at Banana Tree has a nice, vibrant atmosphere and this is only completed by the size of the crowd. It’s plenty busy and a popular haunt for some of the other corporate dwellers from the looks of it. I didn’t find the find innovative but it was tasty."

"not really Thai food lovers. probably one of the least tasty Thai meal I had. I took my friend who was an Olympic visit in the country, in the epsom thai. it was a last night special meal and I was embarrassed in the low quality. the tom yum suppe that we had was really salty and tasted nothing like tom yum tom yum is characterized by its pronounced hot and acidic aromes and fragrant crink grass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, limette juice, fish sauce and crushed chilipfeffer. we could just try fish sauce, nothing else. I have certainly missed the galangal and zitruskalk leaves, not cheap, but if they serve Thai food, they should be included. We next had, pad thai and drank. the pad thai was not great and came without a kalk I have never seen before. When I asked after kalk, the waitress still put a disc lemon on the table and went away. I had to use it on my duck to give it some aroma, but this has not improved the gray tasty dish. I love thai and have eaten many in my time, its most often the fragrance of the dishes and even the rice that gives me so much joy. they had used cheap white rice that was hard and certainly not fragrant or even delicious. the waitress seemed irritated and hurried so that we could not really communicate. on the bright side the restaurant is beautifully laid out and the other waitress was friendly and smiling enough, but they were underused. I was here years ago and his changes, not for the good. I really hope they get another cook and bring back the taste to the dishes with fresh ingredients."

"We had an excellent and very pleasant surprise at this restaurant. After attending a concert at Molineux Wolverhampton, we decided to give this place a try as it was just across the parking lot. The food, service, and atmosphere were all much better than we expected. We had anticipated a beautiful but traditional Indian restaurant with the usual dishes on the menu, but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of delicious and unique options available. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, you will love this hidden gem. We will definitely be back."

"The food was freezing cold. I had to reheat in the microwave something I prefer not to do. Just eat took 50 minutes to assign a driver in all one hour 30 minutes to arrive. I expect a full refund from you just eat."

"Just had a fantastic lunch at the Lambs Green Inn with friends. If you have never been to this venue before it is well worth going out of your way for. Excellent food, great value for money and a special thank you to Sharon who looked after us so well throughout, Sharon explained the various menu options and what was available on the specials board. Sharon kept us topped up with drinks and the odd was presented brilliantly and so professionally. I would highly recommend this venue, my photos do not do the food justice, but believe me you won’t be disappointed. BIG thank you to the team at The Lambs Green Inn and particularly to Sharon who invited us all back and we will be taking her up on that offer, for sure."

"We were there for my motherâs Birthday the service was so so slow they took mins just to take the order We left after hours mins and only had two courses. We were a group of arrival also had children with us. The staff are friendly but would not go back on a Friday or Saturday as the priority is to take away customers with their orders rather than diners in their restaurant. This is such a shame we have been many times before and itâs been fabulous. Donât go in a large group especially over the weekend. Still have to say the food was fabulous once we got it."

"a great restaurant! the best of it must fill the section 4 of the curries can be easy to fill 7 hungry! there is a great selection of things that you can do, of which every tastier is the next. the starter and the complementary poppadome were tasty, but a bit lacked in the amount (especially the disc ktikka). our waiter was very nice and was happy to accommodate us with everything we believed, but not on the menu! very nice ambiente and comfortable sitting. another great thing about this Indian restaurant is that it is authentic, and so desi that it reminds me of the home in bharat (india). it is rare to find these kinds of restaurants in Scotland! they would highly recommend if they were looking for authentic Indian taste!"

"I have ordered takeaway from here twice so far and both times I have been very happy with the meat and vegetarians dishes. They have also been very accommodating by providing a variant of a menu dish for a vegetarian. Prices are great for the quality and flavour. From what I have seen the locals come often and are greeted by staff as they enter. A great place if you are looking for a tasty curry."

"the vegan bites were fantastic! everything else has room for improvement. i had the sweet n sour and the portion was tiny (10 pounds excluding service charge). taste-wise ok but not outstanding. came without rice. an extra portion of rice was nearly 3 pounds so i didn’t order any. i left hungry."

"this tiny Nepalese place was formerly around the corner of my uni. it is nothing special and has dared there only twice both for groups. the food and service were mediocre, perhaps its only location, which in the curry repair during or after long class hours, as this the only Asian restaurant in a 5 minute to foot from the university. fortunately, never remained disappointed."

"New owners have ruined a great restaurant. I'm local and have been eating in and having take away for 10+ years, never had such poor service or food as tonight. The staff made several mistakes with our order, and when I took the order back they refused to accept their mistake despite the very clear evidence of completely wrong dishes! On top of that the food we did have was really poor quality. This used to be a great place to eat, but the combination of rising prices, poor service and now wrong orders means we won't go again. Simply not the place it used to be. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30"

"Really tasty food. As a South East Asian, I can verify this is great genuine authentic Bangladeshi food. Curries were proper on point Staff were friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed ourselves, for a decent price too Highly recommend the King Prawn Vindaloo, but be prepared for the spiciness."
