"This restaurant offered Malaysian food, and more specifically, food of Malay origin and not the typical South east asian Chinese style. I had the beef rendang, which is a typical dry beef curry that goes very well with rice. My dish was served in a generous portion, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent as well, with a very attentive server who listened well to my allergies (and foods to avoid), and helped me to pick the right dish. Overall this is one place that I would certainly like to return to!"

My husband and I were invited to a beautiful wedding anniversary party with delicious Malaysian and Singaporean cuisine, and a lovely atmosphere.

We decided to try Malaysian food at the hotel restaurant before heading to a show. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the ordinary and expensive dishes. We would not dine there again.

I had an enjoyable meal at Selesa restaurant. Attentive service, excellent food. If you've never had Malaysian food before give it a try, its simply worth it...I would definitely pay a visit to this restaurant again on my next trip to London!!! View menu

hidden, but easy to find when they know where they are on the go. slightly dated decoration and a french 80s love ballads playlist that grows on them during the meal. the authentic delicious food was absolutely amazing. starter, main and desserts. fully tasted, large portion size and cooked for perfection. the staff was very friendly and attentive. all in all a beautiful and unforgettable dinner experience.

We love our Malaysian food and stumbled across this one when we visited the National History museum (10-15 min walk). It’s located in a hotel between Gloucester Road and Earls Court. Nice ambiance and a good selection of traditional Asian food across the board from starters to main. Suitable for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians and also good fish selection. Food was nice. Price is a bit expensive but in line with the location.

The restaurant is old and in need of renovation. The service is lacking and there are limited vegetarian options on the menu. The food quality is poor, comparable to a low-quality Chinese takeout. None of the dishes tasted fresh or flavorful. The presentation of the food is subpar. The tables and chairs are dirty. Prices are high considering the location in London, but the quality of the food does not match. It's not worth spending your money here. View menu

I really love to come to selesa kensington, I always feel there either for a glass teh tarik with some crackers (keropok udang) immersed in sweet chili sauce. when I feel like eating hard, I know I always have great options. for example, I love the bark rendang and jasminreis, eat as long as it is still hot. it is good with her Japanese tofu with crushed chicken. inexpensive, it is reasonable and worth for her money. they have a large portion for the great appetit.

I am really love coming to Selesa Kensington, I always feel comfortable there either for a glass of teh tarik with some crackers (keropok udang) dipped in sweet chili sauce. If I feel like having a heavy meal, I know i always have awesome options. For example, I love the beef Rendang and jasmine rice, eat while it is still hot. It goes well with their japanese tofu with shredded chicken. Price wise, it is reasonable and worth value for your money. They have a big portions for the big appetite.
