"Firstly I was not given a clean menu (provided to every guest), I was simply sat at the table and the big dude who showed me to my table did not explain that it's a QR code menu (where you take a picture of the code, and get the menu on your Smart Phone). I arrived before my friend, and not once was I asked if I wanted to order a drink first, even when I waved for the waitress's attention she just nodded her head but didn't come over until minutes later. One waitress did not understand much English, my friend had to ask for ice twice which we didn't get, and on the third asking the waitress apologised for not understanding. The big dude who I suspect is the boss manager wasn't pleasant when we were deciding which bottle of wine to settle for, we of course wanted to taste first which he obviously didn't like, and even said the more you taste, the less you will be able to taste the flavour' however, we had only tested different wines at that point so personally I felt he was rude. This was a lockdown ease dinner which we were really looking forward to however, felt that it wasn't a hygienic experience. Our temperatures were not taken before entry (like other restaurants do), there was no hand sanitiser either upon entry or at the table, not even in the toilet (note that there is only ladies toilet which was blocked, but customers were still allowed to use it), tables were wiped down between each seating but not the chairs, aircon was not great, or even on for most of the evening, we were sat upstairs next to the Gents outside staircase, and could constantly smell cigarette smoke. I felt grubby by the end of the meal, on top of all of that the head waitress decided to put a tip on top of the bill without us realising,I said to divide the bill equally-she rounded it up before dividing so made tip from each of us (which isn't much but that is not the point), I thought it was cheeky, but only realised when I looked at the receipt properly."

"Spotted Pixxa when I was in Farringdon so checked it out. They specialize in Roman style pizza which are rectangular slices of pizza found in Rome. There were so many choices hence I decided to revisit another day for it. Went back on a Monday lunch when it was nice and quiet and got the 3 slice deal for £10.95. After choosing my slices, I thought they just give it to you but it goes in the oven once more so they are piping hot. I got settled and started to take photos as usual when I heard these crunching noises from the guy opposite. It was then I realized how thin and crispy the pizza base was which was my liking because I am extreme when it comes to the pizza base; it has to be thin and crispy or thick and bready, there is not in between! The three flavours I got were the artichoke and nduja, potato and rosemary, sausage and scamorza. I started with the potato and rosemary first because it had the lightest taste, the first bite was impressive because of the pizza base which was thin and airy like pan de cristal/glass bread. Then there was the fluffy yet crispy potato which was crushed/crumbled to cover the pizza evenly. The other two pizzas were both equally good but the artichoke and nduja was probably my favourite because of the pairing and the spicy kick from the nduja. The sausage and Scamorza with onions was another lovely combo but somehow, I am loyal to the English pork sausage so nothing quite beats it. Overall, I was impressed as the pizzas were not too oily or heavy to give you that bloated feeling. They are also doing a pizza challenge where you eat 6 slices but I didn't realize the slices were that big so it doesn't quite seem possible! Will definitely return when I am feeling peckish because you can just get them by the slice. The guy there was really friendly and there is an upstairs as well which I didn't know on the first visit. The ambiance upstairs was so relaxing that you could stay there all day."
