"My friend and I needed a good old catch up and decided to go to Cafe Source as not been for a while! We were disappointed! The young waitress needed more training in customer service she asked us same questions many times....and didnt seem too confident? My friend had the Croque Monsieur and had to send back as it was cold....not even an authentic Croque Monsieur either! I was quite happy with my order of Prawn and Avocado in a bun, plenty of it and apart from salad consisting of just green leaves out a packet it was quite acceptable. My friend had a Rose wine which was tastleless and I had white wine and soda, which again was tastless. We chose to go elsewhere for coffee.....we also chose to decline the optional service charge as we didnt think deserved it!"

"I came to the restaurant with my partner for my anniversary. The service that we received was outstanding. We went for the set menu with seven courses. Every course was well explained by our waiter as we were not familiar with the Indian cuisine. The food was extremely tasty and our waiter was excellent. He was busy with a large party, but we didn't feel neglected. When we booked we mentioned that was our anniversary. We had a dessert with Happy Anniversary written on it! How nice it is. We asked the waiter name, Vishnu. He was so friendly and professional. We will be back very soon."

"We were out for my birthday although the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed, the food was not so good which is a shame as that's what we were there for!! Both my friend and I had steak, which were both fatty I could not even cut through some of mine. We mentioned it to the waiter who said he would pass it onto the chef. No apology was made and that was the end of it which in our eyes was not professional enough."

"This was my first visit, had a table booked for 12 noon but on arrival at 11.55 the doors were still locked, when eventually the doors were opened we were met by a rather frosty reception from a member of staff who I later learned was the Duty Manager. Having not been before I wasn’t aware of how the restaurant worked, whether table service or order at the bar. The woman was blunt unfriendly even when my 7yr old son said “thank you” for his drink she showed no interest but simply ignored him. I said thank you for our drinks but still no smile or warmth from the woman whatsoever, this made me feel very uncomfortable before even ordering food, I even considered going elsewhere. Thankfully the rest of our visit was pleasant, I ordered food with a different member of staff the waiting staff were friendly. The food was good plenty of it. This is clearly a very popular place I would definitely recommend booking! A good place with a varied menu, the Carvery looks very good too, it’s unfortunate that one member of Staff can have such a negative effect on Customers."

"It would have been stars across the board but for the noise level from a party of that arrived whilst we were tucking into our main course. No fault of the restaurant as business is business and recovering from the pandemic, the management and team at Sai has worked extremely hard to service the clientele…it was just the fact we needed to shout at each other to hear ourselves that knocked a star off for me. The food was exquisite, the service brilliant and we look forward to returning soon but this time we will ask if there are any large table bookings in advance"

"Service was good and decent menu selection, unfortunately quite a few flies inside on a warm day. (Additional review) the place is not what it used to be. I visited this restaurant on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. The waiter was rude and insisted that I sit at a table in the scorching sun (even though the rest of the place was basically empty and didn't fill up for the duration of my meal) he didnt make an effort to be accomodating or hospitable. the rest of the staff were friendly enough. the burrito is definitely smaller than what it used to be and costs way more. also tasted like the rice was raw or undercooked. Paid way too much for a basic burrito and soft drink. it did not taste like authentic mexican food at all. the place is also visibly faling apart, with parts of the wall and furniture literally being held up by tape (pictures attached) which takes away from the pleasant music and colorful decor."

"Daughters went mad to eat here. Chance would have been a fine thing…. We stood waiting to be seated. Sadly over five minutes had passed and no member of staff acknowledged us (they were not busy, only three tables with guests) dispite passing close by. Not even ‘we will be with you shortly’ our daughters were upset as really looking forward to it. But we decided with that as a first impression that we didn’t want to stay and experience anymore as it was rude. So we went to the Miller and Carter and had a fabulous experience both service and food. Please try harder next time to make your guests feel welcome and wanted."

"I had a great time at this restaurant. My girlfriend thought her steak was overcooked (difficult to judge reliably). The service was impeccable. Our server was attentive, giving us space but also knowing when to check on us. I personally thought my food was cooked perfectly, but my friend had a different opinion. Overall, I still enjoyed my experience and can't blame the service at all. However, because of differing opinions, I can't give it a 5-star rating. It's true that you can't please everyone!"

"I've been going after shante for a few years and I'm sorry to check it out as okay, but it's not what it used to be. eating the same tapas menu has been for several months and not particularly interesting for vegetarians. I ordered a special tapa of garlic bread with chili and rocket disappointing the brot was thin cut and rocket was yellow and shoved. I was surprised that everyone cook with self-esteem was happy to use it and that the waiting staff did not ask it. it was a special one, if ingredients do not take it up to scratch!"

"Below average. The food was, at best, ok. Little flavor. Half the people on our table didn 't finish their dishes because they didn 't enjoy it. My tagliatelle Alfredo was supposed to have a 30 yo Parmesan cheese but I could not taste any Parmesan at all. The waiter that was taking our orders seemed annoyed, or tired, or something else, but showed no interest in being pleasant. The restaurant is nicely decorated tough. I wouldn 't recommend this restaurant based on our experience today."

"We had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The concept involves sharing plates, but it's not necessarily tapas. With their recommendations, we tried a variety of starters and then as a group, we all enjoyed a delicious 2kilo+ steak with sides. The steak was cooked perfectly and even the simple green salad was tasty. The wine list is extensive and a bit overwhelming, but the staff were helpful in choosing a smooth and velvety Ribera del Duero Red. We dined during lunchtime and the restaurant was quiet, but the elegant and relaxing atmosphere made for a pleasant experience. We left feeling excited to have discovered a new favorite spot for food lovers. Delicious!"

"We had been led to believe from the website you couldn't book a table here so we just turned up on the off chance. Turns out their website was wrong and you could book. Never the less they managed to squeeze us in. I ordered the hot dog which when it arrived a was shocked to see it looked like the cheapest sausage they could have possibly found. However, it tasted absolutely amazing so don't let that put you off! We got two cocktails as they were on a 2 for £12 offer. When the bill arrived they hadn't charged us the special offer for the cocktails. That was easily rectified however."

"We had a pleasant dinner here for my partners’ birthday. The food was great, and staff were nice. To bring a birthday cake ourselves and have the staff bring it out and serve it would have been an extra charge per head, which is somewhat ridiculous considering you’ve bought the cake yourself. They close very early on Sundays, which isn’t a complaint or a bad thing but I think they would do well if open later! Service: 4"

"Staying on business. Decided to try this place as it was no 6 on Tripadvisor The whole time I was there, I was the only customer. The host was super friendly. Music was great. Over the years I must have eaten in over 200 Indian restaurants and I can honestly say that this was one of the worst ! All of the food was so over cooked it was terrible. Even the rice was burnt. The nan bread was like a brick. I complained and the host brought the chef out who just shrugged his shoulders, smiled at me and walked off. Appalling ! I won’t be going back."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"This restaurant is always a top choice for us when we visit Stratford upon Avon with our 6 year old grandson. We always receive a friendly greeting and enjoy delicious pizzas every time. Our go-to is the Romano pizza, which is always fresh and flavorful. The staff, Sally and Blanca, are fantastic with our grandson and really make the experience special for him. "Great food and fantastic for the Aldwych theatres. Manager was very friendly. Need to keep an eye on the service as waiters appeared tired and not overly good English. As a result we witnessed an autocation between a waiter and a customer that was pretty much down to language issues. Not terribly pricey for Central London and gold menu. Advised to book at weekends and evenings as evidently theatres plus KC London plus Law Courts make it very busy. Overall pretty good."

"This is gonna be long one but boy she is worth it!! This is by far my new favourite restaurant. Did we drive 1.5 hrs to try this place? Yes. Did we do it a second time because they blew my mind? Also, yes. This adorable place located in Anglesey, Wales, had great reviews and the photos people shared online were just… mouthwatering. The first time I tried it, the seafood platter for two, extra lemon butter prawns and chips and the dessert trio delicious fruity drinks on the side. I have always refused to eat mussels because of the look and smell. Well I tried these and ate multiple. The calamari was tender and tasty, the prawn on toast was light and refreshing, the bream was fresh and fishy, the fried fish was flaky and crispy at the same time. I was obsessed immediately. The dessert trio was a snickers trio, a spiced caked and orange ice cream and crème brûlée. Each equally perfect. Zero. Complaints. Trip 2 we went in for the roast dinner. While not as awe inspiring to me as the seafood, the portions were fantastic, the variety of foods meant I never got bored and was always trying new combinations. The cheese starter was rich and decadent. Almost too much so but two was plenty for me. But the greatest part… the peach and raspberry dessert. I don’t have the words to describe.. I was overly full and feeling quite heavy from eating more than my body was wanting me to … when the dessert came out. OMG… it was light and airy, creamy but rich, sweet but tangy. Chunks of real peach hidden at the bottom. It was one of those moments when you just know… you’ve eaten one of the best things of your entire life. Catch 22 is a family run restaurant (I didn’t know at the time) that is always busy and no wonder. The service was great, the staff were lovely, the food was out of this world. The next time I’m in the UK I am making the trek over, no question about it. Hell I might even fly over just to go there. 10/10 absolutely incredible. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu someday."
