"So we ordered our food delivered , delivery driver was friendly , even tiped him once we opened our food we realised no sauces with popadoms phoned them up to be told you have to pay separate for sauces , so we have popadoms that we paid £2.40 for with no sauces at all, not told this at the time of ordering ...strange! Then we move onto the korma , it was lumpy with massive flakes of coconut, not nice at all, we have ordered from here before and it was not like this before , phoned them up and asked them to come and collect the food and give us a refund we have not touched this food at all! They were not very helpful and refused to give a refund, or even acknowledge that the food wasn’t right , kept saying there was nothing they can do , do not waste your money , we have now thrown it all in the bin and had to cook something , next time we will take the drive down to the cumin club in Rochester as much better food , service is better and not as over priced!"

"It 's reassuring to read other reviews and see that many other people found the service awful. I never write restaurant reviews, but it 's such a waste of money when you are spending so much money for a nice occasion but you have **** service and you are felt like you are just holding up the staff from going home. My friend and I arrived for our 2pm booking and the indifferent man who greeted us informed me that we had 30 minutes to order before the kitchen closed. It was then that I realised that our booking was their last lunchtime booking. We were not warned about it when we made a reservation. From then on, everything was extremely rushed. All the staff were rude and unpleasant (apart from one waitress who gave us the BBQ sauces and the barman). We took our order and we had a few questions about the menu, e.g. whether 2 side dishes of rice would be too much with all the food, but the man just wrote down the dishes without answering our questions and said we had to order all our food because the kitchen was closing and just said 'it 's up to you ' whilst not even looking at us, just looking around at the rest of the restaurant. The food came and it was average (not as good as Olle restaurant). No one came to us and asked if everything was ok during the meal. The waitress came with the bill and didn 't ask how everything was, she just put the bill on the table and simply said 'We are closing '. I asked her if the last lunchtime booking gets to have dessert and she said 'No because we are closed and the staff need to finish ' and walked off. It 's bad when you are paying just as much as everyone else for your meal (close to £100 for 2 people, by the way) but you don 't have the same service. If you are going to have a last booking don 't close the kitchen 30 minutes after I don 't know any restaurants that do that. Or at least warn people before that they won 't be able to have any dessert. They didn 't even say the booking was 1 hour 30 minutes in the confirmation email. There are plenty of other nice restaurants in London where they don 't rush you and actually treat you as a valued customer I would never return here."

"a taste of the Caribbean in bath. jrk huhn, curry goat, rice and exalted: large Caribbean cuisine from a friendly small takeout. reasonable too! why they go to the turtle bay for Caribbean food when caribbean kitchen is less than a minute on the street, I don't know. the flesh was beautiful and damp and the sauces were beautiful and spicy. I couldn't recommend it enough."

"I have never been to such **** in my life. I am a jamaican and know what is to be expected in a jamaican restaurant. Jamaica.. New York.. Canada.. I have experienced jamaican cusean food.. But this one has to be the worst. Were in the rass you go to a jamaican restaurant and they don 't have green banana and bole dumplings. No yam... No breadfruit... I as the chief if it is okay to do me some boll dumplings and the answer I get ' they make it for themselves not for anybody else.. ' I ask for the jurk meat.... What do I get instead bones with some black **** on it.... The rice peas was over cooked... My partner had the fry chicken with rice and peas... No season on the chicken at all... This by far is the worst experience I have ever had... As for the drinks.... What a joke... None alcohol drinks £5 each... Mango cocunt.... Did taste good at all.. What is going on with this place.. If you can 't provide the goods then close down the rassclat place.. If any body wants to question me please feel free to come with your reasonings... Get people. That understands how and what is jamaican food and how to cook de rass ting..."

"Three of my good friends shared a birthday in the same week. A recommendation that we had lunch @Kitchen. Actually, I wasn't really for it, but hey, it was her birthday. So all said, ten of us return, unprecedented and we had not booked (please don't, it's a man thing. The staff was amazingly accentuated to consider. @Kitchen is a compact, clean café with a beautiful atmosphere and a good menu. All agreed their meal tasty and good value for money! "On the same level as East London’s JerkPit but in Kent. I ordered via UberEats and one item was missing. Luckily my mum’s house has 24 hour CCTV outside and inside her home with audio. The driver stated there was a hole in the plastic bag on arrival. This issue was resolved promptly by the manager of the restaurant. My only issue is that the business isn’t sustainable as it’s using plastic bags and containers instead of paper that can be stapled, taped and double bagged. They did try to give me a free drink, but I don’t drink that and didn’t accept. I’d suggest either asking the customer via phone or choosing on their behalf a drink that is universal like Coca Cola or water. Ginger Beer is like Supermalt; an acquired taste not everyone likes it. I’ll recommend it to people looking for Caribbean restaurants in Kent because it’s managed efficiently by Zena Deirdre Campbell. "It's easy to overlook this unassuming restaurant on a street filled with dining options. The decor is simple and reflects the restaurant's modest financial resources, giving off a cozy family-run vibe, which I personally appreciate. Despite it being a busy Monday evening in January with the omicron variant, the service was professional, attentive, and friendly. The menu, although slightly worn and difficult to read, offered a variety of options, including appetizers. While I am usually wary of small restaurants offering a large menu, I found that some of the dishes we ordered, such as the Thai fish cakes, seemed reheated. However, my main dish of marinated pork with lemon, chili, and coriander was tender and flavorful. We opted for the cheapest red wine on the short list, a Chilean merlot, which paired well with our meal. Overall, I would gladly dine at Paccata again."
