"Three of my good friends shared a birthday in the same week. A recommendation that we had lunch @Kitchen. Actually, I wasn't really for it, but hey, it was her birthday. So all said, ten of us return, unprecedented and we had not booked (please don't, it's a man thing. The staff was amazingly accentuated to consider. @Kitchen is a compact, clean café with a beautiful atmosphere and a good menu. All agreed their meal tasty and good value for money! If you enjoy this type of food I recommend you to go there. You can check your menu on the @Kitchen website."

Wohoo! Very satisfied with what we order. Best Asian Restaurant in Plymouth. Every penny worth it. I'd like to eat again.

My partner visited this morning and declared it the best Asian restaurant in Plymouth without a doubt. We will definitely be returning. Every dish was cooked to perfection.

The staff here is always warm and friendly, which is always a great start. The food is very cheap and the flavors are amazing. There are enough options on the menu to appease most lovers of Asian food and the service is prompt. The retaining device is clean and well ventilated with plenty of space. The hotel is located on the top of the market at the bottom of the city, if you are in the city center and in the mood for a lit bite, please, give this place an attempt!

I arrived at the restaurant at 9:55 to look at the menu. The woman was rude and told me they were not open. I explained that they open at 10am, but she said the staff was not there and they open at 10:30 or 11:00. I asked if I could sit and wait, but she gave me a look as if I was a bother. Another staff member arrived and also looked at me with disgust. It was clear they were not on the same page about their opening time. The service and business practice were disgusting. I'm glad I didn't spend my money there.

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
