"A very enjoyable evening here is a pub/bar designed on two floors with a lot of outdoor seating for groups. There is a breathtaking view over Portsmouth Harbour. It has a romantic yet lively atmosphere of the place attracts people who want to have fun. There is a good selection of beer and wine and a very nice cocktail menu. There are also foods in fact a new autumn/winter menu just arrived. There is a good selection of hot dishes and main dishes and lighter snack options. "The adult menu also has a good variety and is generally quite tasty. We’ve dined here often enough that we’ve experienced a few less-than-stellar meals, but overall, the food is good. The service is very friendly, provided by staff members who have been there for a while, which is uncommon for chain restaurants. There is plenty of parking available, and it's conveniently located right next to the cinema. It's a perfect spot for birthday celebrations too!"

"What a superb pub staffed by lovely professionals. We were here for an evening meal. I had the duo of beef which was blade of beef and two generous portions of fillet of beef. This and the accompanying vegetables were cooked to perfection. My wife had the lamb cooked 2 ways which was also excellent. The Eton mess to finish was another triumph and a very individual and modern take. This was 5* restaurant cooking at its best. Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for a memorable meal."

"A group of friends and I attended for a pre-booked meal and cocktails. Greeted by a rude waitress who told us if we wanted food we would have to order quickly as the kitchen was shutting, we have a table booked 19.30 until 21.30 but when we questioned this we was told we had been contacted via phone several times. On double checking my phone I insisted we hadn’t. Reluctantly we stayed orders drinks and food. Food arrived it was nothing special and over priced. One of the meal was off (seafood) and had to be sent back, the meal was not replaced and an alternative not offered. Following the remaining meals being completed we awaiting more drinks but was asked if we would like the bill because the bar would be closing, it was 21.00 and nowhere near closing hours advertised. We left and will never return and certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their hard earned money."

"We visited on Sunday 27th Feb. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I went up to order at the bar and I have to say that it is the stickiest place I've ever visited. The bar was sticky, menus were sticky. I'm not sure what it was but it was on our table menus too. The food was really good. It took a little while so it wasn't really hot. I had Smothered Chicken and my partner had the Rump Steak. My chicken was nice but the peas and chips were cold. We had a bottle of wine we hadn't finished and a really nice boy who had brought us our food allowed us to take it outside to finish it up in the night air. This is a really nice restaurant with good food, a good atmosphere and great staff. Thank you!"

I am an international person living in the UK for 2 years now and I have used my BRP (BIOMETRIC RESIDENT PERMIT) the offical identity proof that UK gov gives to people for everything. The Derby S&L bouncer denied me entry because he said they don’t accept my ID proof? He looked like he was not sober and was so rude to me and my friend. Will never go to this place again it’s almost racist behaviour. Disappointed because clearly the team is not trained with their job and dont even know the most common identity proof that international students/residents have."

"We stopped by The Natural Kitchen for a Saturday brunch after shopping on Oxford Street. The place was bustling and a bit noisy, but the service was excellent. The waitress, despite the hectic atmosphere, was friendly and incredibly helpful—big thanks to her! As for the food, The Natural Kitchen offers a very healthy menu, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We even indulged in dessert, and both options were fantastic, especially the chocolate torte, which was simply wonderful."

"Aweful experience...i reserved table 10 in advance...on arrival said table was occupied. The hostess invited us to sit any where...which defeats the purpose of reserving the table. The hostess indicated you had to order using the app....which we proceeded to do...after several attemps to pay via the app...we had to pay at the bar. "itsu is a fast casual restaurant with a slightly higher feeling, but with reasonable trips. the menu is Asian inspired and seems to be more engraved in Japanese. the vegan offers of itsu have expanded considerably in the course of the years to include some delicious offers that are all marked on the menu and on the food packaging. the detox miso noodle soup is still one of my favorite (and it is low calorie) but sometimes it can be too much psychtang (depending on who does it). my new favorite menus include the veggie dragon roll (complete with vegan mayo the veggie meatballs coconut soup and the veggie gyoza n bowloodle. there are many additional vegan and vegetarian options offered not in my review that are also worth trying. as already mentioned, everything is marked on the menu and on the packaging. most employees seem pretty conscious and worth knowing for vegan options (a more common and accepted diet in Britain) for the case that they have asked to have ingredients menu elements. (I personally would rate this a 3.5 because it is a chain, but it pushes up to 4 because the half-value ratings are not allowed and this is actually a nice, higher quality and healthy food option"

"We ordered the £90 steak for two to share for a special occasion. It took an hour for our starter to come out, and the steak was not of good quality, with a tough, chewy exterior and lots of fat. The portion of the steak that was cooked properly was tasty, but overall it was not worth the money. The table next to us had the same dish and it looked much better. We were unhappy with the service as our order was forgotten and the steak was rushed when it finally came out. However, the manager handled our complaint well by giving us a 30% discount on our bill and offering us a delicious dessert. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but I probably wouldn't return as the quality of the food seems inconsistent."
