"in the last two days we visited here twice for food drinks. on Friday we visited there underwriting pfannkuchen, have top stack speck with maple syrup stack. so much we had to take home. the only critique I would say is that unfortunately it is cooked from the package, not from the ground. on Saturday evening we visited again, but this time as a table for my birthday. this time I went to the la fondue burger with standard house seasoned fries. presentation taste was on place, but the burger was over cooked for my pleasure. all other guests gave a good feedback. on another note, the cocktail menu has a good choice to choose, my personal favorite is the espresso martini."

"Lovely looking place with an excellent breakfast menu, however the service was very bad. We dined as a party of 6 on a Sunday morning, and were seated around a corner at the front, which we felt meant we were ignored or forgotten for most of our meal. One of us frequently had to go and find a server to remind them of things that had been forgotten, to give us the bill, and for someone to come and collect our payment! We could have been sitting for hours otherwise. When our food did come (which all came at different times) my poached eggs were hard in the middle and I could tell it had been sitting around for a while. It's such a shame the service let it down so badly as it could have been a really lovely breakfast."

"We visited the Lion Key Hotel before the Ride100 event, and we had heard great things about it. The experience exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh, creative, and absolutely fantastic, all at a very reasonable price. The service was personal, friendly, and attentive. The decor was lovely, creating a wonderful atmosphere that helped us relax and calm our nerves before the race. We will definitely come back!"

"We arrived at the restaurant in time for our 6.45 pm slot to be told that our table was not ready and would we mind waiting in the bar. We were provided with drinks and a menu which was acceptable. Twenty minutes later we were taken to our table which in fairness had lovely views over the bay. After 10 minutes (and now 30 minutes from arrival) we still had not been approached by any staff to either provide more menus or take our order. Eventually we had to ask a member of staff to take our order. Starters arrived in a timely manner and my soup was very tasty. We then had to wait a long time for our main course which in my case consisted of sweet potato fries that were frozen fries that had been over cooked and a vegetable burger that was at best average. One member of the group had fish and chips and another steak which were both ok. One of the senior staff took 3 of our plates then got distracted did something else and left one plate on the table. We did not have desert as no one came to ask if we would like them and we asked to pay the bill and left. Overall some of the food choices were acceptable but the service spoilt the meal and you could see other people in the restaurant feeling the same as our party."

"It's only been open for about six weeks, but I've seen nothing but good reviews for the Rosylee Tearooms. We went on Saturday for an early lunch. The sun was out on Stevenson Square and even Manchester was looking at its best for a change. It didn't even really feel like England, more like a European city Square, well almost . We sat outside, next to a large table of friendly and high spirited Dutch Manchester United fans, which added to the unreal nature of it. The sun was really shining on us, and everyone was in fine spirits. I didn't even mind when our neighbours started playing Michael Bolton on a little stereo. I had a look inside, they've done a great job, it's totally different...read more"

"Visited for a Swifty brunch and was disappointed with the outcome. Would’ve been a great experience if we didn’t have to constantly ask for drinks and if we were given the hats and props that were part of the brunch when we first arrived. The last 40min was probably the best of our brunch as we were getting served constantly (I think they got the hint we were annoyed with the service). Steve was great and tried to look after us as best as he could when my food came out wrong, when we waited 15min for water, etc. Hopefully my next visit will be a better experience!"

"Popped in here, on our way back to hotel, for a drink and something to eat. The place is massive, so no issue getting a table, we even managed to get one overlooking the river. All cocktails currently available on for offer, which...is excellent value. Good selection of beer, wine and gin too. We opted for one of their sharing platters and at it was certainly value for money as it was massive, very tasty and enjoyable, although we couldn't finish it. All staff, we encountered were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return."

"We booked lunch on line fo4 1145 as we were going to the cinem afterwards. Upon arriving at the robust restaurant we were sat down and handed a brunch menu, apparently they don’t serve lunch until 1230 despite the on line booking Staff were appologetic and for some reason moved us to another table. We were given an amuse bouche to fill in time....sadly that was the highlight. Menu was ok. Ordered the seafood raviolo as a starter with seafood bisque. The pasta was soft on the top but far too hard on its rim. Interesting challenge was eating a bisque with a knife and fork! I had to ask for a spoon. Main was roast partridge in a far too salty sauce, the texture was fascinating as it was supplemented with feathers! My friend had short rib that was also too salty too. My dessert was a lovely creme brûlée, but to add a whisky soaked prune base is bizarre in the extreme. Creme brûlée is a very subtle flavour the compote was far too strong! It was a detour for lunch, was it worth it.....categorically NOT!! Toilets were clean but freezing cold. Not a great experience the prices were high the food wasn’t worth the cost. £85 for two is expensive for what we had."

"We arrived to a table, with mucky plates and no chairs in the main bar area. We had booked the resteraunt. After trying to explain to the staff we had booked the resteraunt we were moved upstairs onto a table which we were told we had an hour and a half before we had to go as the next group were coming to eat. Whilst upstairs there was no room, we were like chickens in a coop. If you were sat to the left of the table you couldn't get out to go to the bar toilet. None of the staff sempt interested and weren't helpful at all. I don't usually leave bad reviews but on this occasion I am doing as eating here ruined my 21st. Terrible service, wouldn't reccommend at all."

"Booked a table for breakfast at 10. Turned out it was just the buffet for the normal hotel guests with no option to order from a menu, which felt strange. We sat down at 10 by 10:20 they started clearing everything away we seemed to be the only ones paying vs hotel guests. We got moved at about 10:30 as they wanted to hoover. We were moved into another part of the bar. Just before we got moved we had to chase down a few pastries before they were whisked away. £58 for a few dry pieces of bacon and hard eggs including 2 coffees (cappuccino) so not a budget option either. I would not recommend this at all, staff were friendly but this is not a place for bfast if you’re looking for something nice. Plenty of better options. Tops marks to marketing team making it look nice on the website, shame its a pretty standard hotel buffet in reality."

"Great place went there for a Sunday brunch with the kids and some friends. I usually don't expect much from a weatherspoon but I was surprised in a good way. Friendly staff , they were welcoming and got us highchairs for the children. The place wasn't overly busy but I can imagine it's packed during the week We ordered 2 kids Sunday roast it came with chicken, peas, roast potatoes, carrots and gravy. Plus a drink and fruit bowl. The portions were pretty decent We also ordered the Sunday roast for adults it constited of half a chicken, Yorkshire pudding, sausage and bacon, mash, gravy and peas along with a drink. but you had the choice in between turkey, beef or chicken Our friends had...read more"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriends for a lunch and cocktail afternoon. We were welcomed by a friendly guy, although I didn't catch his name. We were seated in a beautiful booth with twinkling lights and flowers, creating a perfect girly atmosphere. The restaurant had a modern and classy vibe, which we loved. We were excited to see they had a 2 for 1 cocktail special on the menu, which we took advantage of. The cocktail selection was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was efficient. We ordered through the app and our food came out quickly, so there was no waiting around. Thank you to the staff for a great experience, we are already planning our next visit - this time in the evening so we can enjoy even more cocktails."

"prezzo has a good job. brentwood like most other plugs in the chain are consistent in the rule. they now have an extensive gluten-free offer, which is about time. hopefully, the whole road will soon offer the alternatives. I have some favorites, but it's pretty good. starting the caramelized plank and cheese flatcake pizza is very nice. the deserving, the salads and the chicken dishes are good and the riders are somewhat addictive. brentwood has gone to and in a mini flight in the middle. the disabled toilet is located in the fire exit on the upper level, so if they are a wheelchair driver, they must enter through this fire exit and I would recommend to sit on this level if they need the toilet. very safe bet."

"This used to be a local pub and restaurant. It would appear that this is now a restaurant with a bar. There is very little atmosphere and beer was poor (we understand that the lines were not cleaned((properly No steak knife offered and it was too late by the time the server returned to the table. There was an accident with one meal so we had to wait for that to be rectified by which time one meal had lost heat. However, the food was nice but not a place I shall be returning to in the near future."

"Highly recommend! Myself and a friend was organising a surprise hendo for our other friend and queried about beer bong on a Saturday but there was unfortunately no spaces available to hold downstairs. However, they kindly let us use one of their tables upstairs and also provided some hen party accessories which was such a lovely gesture. It really made our day, huge thank you to all the staff"

"the meal was okay for eating. I ordered the new “Vegan festive with friends”. the part is for approx. 2/3 people as sharer, or 1 as a main (as I did) the flatbread could have craspier! it was pretty soggy. some of them on the nachos would also be great. I wasn't a fan of **** mary sauce "

"Huge Ivy fan, most people will expect the prices to be high, but I can assure you they aren't. The staff are all so professional and make any dining experience welcoming. The food and drink selections are good value for money and makes the idea venue for a business lunch."
