"The Waitresses and staff don’t shower. They come into work unshowered. I don’t like my food handled by unshowered staff members. How do I know? You know a person is umshowered when you look at them. They look stale. They touch their faces. Scratch their faces. Rub all the matter from their eyes. Never wash their hands and serve hot drinks, juices and food. I pin pointed it to the girl and she said oh she washed her hands after rubbing her eyes. But I was seated in front of her and she didn’t. She spied to the rest of beverage makers behind the counter. One by one stared at me, trying to be discreet. And starred at them hard, to make it known I was being gossiped about. That is my go to place to unwind and relax. Only if the waitresses shower before showing up for work."

"The manager needs to do a refresher course on customer service. The restaurant is suppose to be a Lebanese cuisine but had only Indian food as mains? Me and my friends had ordered mocktail and the drinks were literally half a glass, the drinks were overpriced in terms of how much we got. We ordered a shared Tapas and unfortunately it wasn't really sharing Tapas the portion sizes were very small. When trying to discuss this he came across quite arrogant and had very little listening skills. We were extremely upset the way he dealt with things so cancelled our main, however we didn't let this dampen our mood and went to the Turkish restaurant down the road and they really went out of their way to serve us good food, big portion sizes and gave us dessert which was in the house."

"this place has been there for eternity, eating was really delicious and really good, good quality ingredients, service was fantastic and super friendly, this is by far the best hommus I had in london so far. I have 2 advices for the owner/manager: music repeated 2/3 songs in the background, this was a vibe killer, music is the soul of the place, little investment and it can be a game changer, second the bathroom; it didn't look good, and it wasn't good to take care of. other than that. I enjoyed it so much and also my family. this place is child-friendly"

"I placed a telephone order after looking at their menu, which was provided to me. When I went to pick up the food, they tried to charge me extra, claiming that I only get 3 sides instead of the 6 listed on the menu. I spoke to a manager who said that everyone knows about this, but I was not informed beforehand. This will be my first and last time ordering from this restaurant. Instead of charging extra, they should invest in updating their menu."

"This place is a bit of an institution in Cambridge. Situated at the heart of the old town, folklore has it that the university tried to close it down but the students managed to get them to overturn their decision. Surrounded by high profit-margin chains and exclusive boutiques, I could believe it. You can actually get *good* chips for less than two quid, which is a small miracle in itself. They will do you a chip butty (pita filled with chips and a good dollop of hummus on top) for not much more. It must be the student influence, but they do mention vegan options on the chalk board outside, and they do at least appear to know what a vegan is, which I'm always so grateful for! If you want to up the ante, you could go for the falafel or apparently the veggie burger is vegan (not 100% confirmed that yet though they have a rough and ready seating area upstairs and you can even get a sneaky glass of wine to go with your feast. Yep, they still predominantly serve animals, but, for Cambridge, this ain't too bad. Updated from previous review on 2017-07-28"

Last Friday I made many mistakes, but it can be summarised at me missbehaving and loosing track of a bag full of expensive assets that I rejected to store in Core's cloackroomWithout any hope of getting it back, this morning (2 days after) I passed by the Core and asked to their manager who to my surprise found it and brought it back to me. The bag and everything inside was intact. "I stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering through town and was immediately drawn in by the enticing aroma of spices. I was not disappointed in the least. I opted for a variety of dishes, starting with some extra hot and deliciously tingly chicken wings. The chicken was of high quality and the sauce was both spicy and tangy. The beef skewer was a bit on the pricier side and slightly overcooked, but that is to be expected from a place that mainly specializes in chicken. The fries were standard but elevated by the peri peri salt sprinkled on top. The presentation on a slate board enhanced the dining experience. The service was exceptional for a fast food joint and there was ample seating. I would definitely return for another visit!"
