"This is the best Mediterranean food I have ever tasted. The dishes were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. The chef was warm and welcoming, treating us like family. The dessert we took to go was absolutely amazing. We are only in town for a short visit but we definitely plan on returning to this restaurant!"

"We had heard good reviews and so were looking forward to dining at Konak but unfortunately my expectations were not met. We arrived to find that there were dining rooms at Konak but there was only one open and felt very like we were dining in our front room, tables were cramped together and we were asked to give the server our coats as so we would not take too much room, decor was like an old fashioned tea room with doilies on the table and when the plates, salt and pepper and candle were on the table there was room for nothing else, and tables were so close together we could easily listen to the next tables conversation. I felt so uncomfortable I really could have and prefer that we had left and went else where without even giving it a try but as we wanted to give it a try we stayed all be it uncomfortable. I chose the Turkish sausages which when they arrived looked like it was one large sausage pre made and sliced into not traditional sausages that I thought it would have been it was not very hot nor tasty nor spicy and for main ordered the lamb meatballs. Because this dish was made and cooked to order there was at leAst a minute wait following the starter and was so hot that it had just came out of the oven that as the table was so small was fairly dangerous to sit with in front of me all I wanted to do was get it eaten and get out. Unfortunately it was not an option to eat fast and get out as it was so hot and so we ended up arguing over the dishes, left most of the main and paid and left. In hind sight I should have gone with first impressions and left the restaurant when they seated me on another couples knees at the start ! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an up to date modern style Turkish meal but perhaps for someone looking for an at homely feel very traditional Turkish meal."

"the limited vegan options at Pinkman’s are indisputably delicious. I had the avocado on toast and it was so delicious; with a sweet chili sauce it was amazing. the brot was so fresh and the avocado smash was so unusual, but delicious. I also had the vegan chocolate dripping cake, which was a decent vegan cake option. so much I have the items I have tried here, they have very limited vegan options. they have in the rule only 2 cake options and the avocado next to another dish is the only vegan option also. your menu, as I know, never changes; so I do not visit this place often because it can get boring. I would still recommend if they were looking for a decent brunch in bristol. also the vibes of the bakery are great."

"Cannot understand the ratings. Here is what I got delivered. An inedible sickly sweet aubergine jam like stew. A labneh wrap done in dough that was raw. A bag of supermarket wraps still in their wrapping. A felafel so salty as to be inedible in a stale cold wrap. A wrap filled mostly with chips. I cannot understand the 5 star ratings. Inexplicable."

"The last time we came here was several years ago and the restaurant is much more attractive now twice the size, warmer and cosier even on a freezing winter’s night, that distinctive Middle Eastern music playing quietly in the background while the food is as delicious as ever. We shared some spicy mutabal to start, with flatbreads to dip. And then Jenny moved onto a generous plateful of what she was wonderfully tender chicken and rice. I opted for a selection of hot mezze dishes, always my favourite: mujadarrah, a classic combination of lentils and rice topped with crispy fried onion, ful medamas (Egyptian style field beans in a hugely garlicky and lemony sauce) and spinach and cheese bourak or borek, crispy pastry parcels. They were the only slightly disappointing fish, I thought I’ve had versions made with filo pastry and they’re rather lighter. A great mezze combination though. Good service from the helpful young Syrian waiter, a fine value meal and in a nice atmosphere we were very happ, and it’s great to see Rowsha’s thriving."

"This place is simply amazing. The shop is indeed well stocked with supplements, health foods especially organic, organic fruit and vegetables, and a whole host of organic cooking ingredients to and other health products I found apple cider, colloidal silver just to name a few. There is a selection of fresh healthy breads and a display cabinet with lots of tempting treats such as brownies as well as vegetarian wraps and sandwiches to take away. The food choice is indeed very very good. And on the 1st floor is a vegetarian cafe producing really great hot meals and of course organic coffee made with organic milk. There are vegetarian alternatives to milk, such as soya and almond milk. The cafe is extremely popular which goes to show just how good the food is. Vegans are catered for too. This establishment is well worth a visit when in Minehead I always eat lunch at the cafe because the food is so tasty"

"I first discovered Greensmith's, not long after they opened, on a bitterly cold early Spring day. Their attractive frontage caught my eye, but the interior is just as pleasant. The service is always friendly, the Northwoods coffee good, and they do some excellent cakes, some of which are vegan. The food menu is fairly short, but I have had some nice soups here. However, I was unimpressed with the mushroom on toast I had on my most recent visit. There was no mention of rocket being part of this dish, and while I am in no way averse to rocket, the dish arrived, completely covered in the stuff. I took a bite, but couldn't taste the mushrooms, so I decided to remove some of the rocket. As I began to do so, I couldn't find any mushrooms, so I kept on until all the rocket was on the side of the plate. You can see what this revealed from my photo, 2 dry-tasting pieces of sourdough, with barely any mushrooms. They are just common or garden mushrooms, not truffles, couldn't I have a few more for £6.50 please?"

"We visited this pub on the recommendation of the hosts of the B&B we were staying in, and we are so glad we did. The staff were friendly and really helpful. They catered to our allergies and their whole menu is labeled as to what dietary requirements their food meets. They were especially good if you have a dog with you. They bought our westie a bowl of water and humoured us when we ordered her a sausage (its her holiday too, after all). They made her a temporary dog bowl and tried to ensure it was the right temperature for her. The food was amazing; freshly cooked and the meat was juicy. I would highly recommend the Samson Burger, the Bacon Jam was surprisingly really good! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely meal"

"My partner and I went to this restaurant for coffee in the morning and were pleasantly surprised by the gluten-free options available. Their new menu offers over 50% gluten-free choices, including a full English breakfast. We were so impressed that we decided to make a lunch reservation. All three specials also had gluten-free options, so I ended up choosing the Mediterranean vegetable and mushroom toasted sandwich. My partner chose the fish finger sandwich. "I visited on Saturday, December 30, for an evening meal that included a bottle of wine. We upgraded to a room with a spa bath, which I highly recommend! This was a special 60th birthday treat for my partner, and I was lucky enough to join him. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. We were in need of some relaxation, and we certainly found it. When we entered our room, we both exclaimed, "Wow!" Our dinner was just as impressive. Every member of the staff we encountered—from the hotel reception to the bar and dining staff—was wonderful and friendly. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for this amazing experience. "We had to wait for thirty minutes outside in the cold because the restaurant was crowded. We didn't really have much interaction with the staff, so we can't comment on their service. The decor on the walls and menus might be off-putting for vegans who are sensitive to such things, as they had drawings of animals with lines through them. The Beyond Meat options were delicious as always, but the burgers we ordered were a bit too salty for our liking. However, some people might enjoy that taste. Despite these minor issues, we overall had a pleasant experience at the restaurant."

"I'm a frequent visitor to this café! They offer a great selection of classic dishes adapted for vegetarian and vegan diets, making the menu familiar and accessible for everyone. The daily assortment of cakes and cookies is consistently delicious as well. They've recently introduced wonderful vegetarian and vegan takeaway sandwiches, including a vegan New York Deli that my partner always encourages me to get, as well as a tofu egg mayo and cheese option. "One of the best hidden gems Leicester has to offer. Adma provides a selection of traditional Lebanese dishes with the most popular being the chicken shawarma. The chicken shawarma is the best I have tasted anywhere in the UK. The sandwich comes as a shawarma wrap and the platter is for when you are a little more hungry. The platter comes with shawarma, chips or rice and salad with a garlic sauce on the side. Prices are more than acceptable. Would much rather come here for a satiating hot lunch than a supermarket lunch deal."

"This is a really popular cafe and every time I go all the tables are full so I can't stay. Finally today, after months of trying, I got a lovely window table all to myself! The smiley young lady at the counter took my order and told me to go settle down and they'd bring everything to me. My pot of tea was piping hot and served with a lovely vintage cup and saucer there was enough for two full cups which was perfect. I had a toasted bacon and tomato sandwich that came with an unexpected side salad which was drizzled with a lovely tangy but sweet dressing. I also ordered a sultana scone (or you can have cherry which was soft, warm and served with good portions of clotted cream and jam. The total cost of this was under £7.50 which is less than I paid for similar in a department store cafe last week. The food, staff and surroundings were so much lovelier and it's nice to be able to support a family business. I'll definitely go back (when I can manage to find another empty table!"

"I walked in to the shop en route home from work to pick up some lunch and found four members of staff standing about doing nothing. You 'd think then that they 'd be eager to serve a customer. No, they all looked at each other until one of them finally took my order. A simple order...or so you 'd think. Can I have a panini with only cajun chicken and mozzarella please? I left the shop and took the panini home where I discovered that the panini also contained peppers and jalapenos *SIGH* Turns out that it was easy enough to pick them off though because there was so much filling in the panini that it hadn 't toasted properly and most of the cheese was therefore unmelted and 70% of the cajun chicken was cold. Let Me Eat boast they have the biggest panini ever. Personally, I 'd rather have quality over quantity and to be served by staff who actually want my custom."

"Dropped into The Hideout whilst on a few days away in The Lake District, there were four of us and we fancied a quick cuppa but unfortunately there was nothing timely about this place. We chose a table and sat down, previous customers dirty cups still on the table we sat at did not get cleared away.Two lads working behind the counter, two customers already in, one lad working there was busy rushing around not getting much accomplished, the other was busying himself with some Tupperware boxes, even though no customers were being served anything from them. After about twenty five minutes the first of our 2 coffees arrived, the kids were still waiting for their milkshakes which were sitting half-made behind the counter, had I discovered then the amount of bluebottles that infested the place we 'd probably have declined them!After no less than half an hour one of the lads who worked there came rushing back through the café door carrying Oreos and Kinder Buenos from a shop next door, he then proceeded to put these in the blender with the liquid from the half made glasses of milkshake off the counter before bringing them over for the kids, as it turned out, blending milk and biscuits passes as a milkshake, and takes half an hour! As we were on our holidays we didn 't complain but really should have as the time taken to serve us was beyond belief for what needed to be done.Before leaving i decided to quickly nip to the loo, was rather confused when the door named 'toilet ' led me into the kitchen, I then spotted the toilet which was absolutely swarming with bluebottles and a full fly strip of them hanging in the corner. As this room is adjacent to the kitchen I am certain these flies pose a risk to the food also. In a word disgusting, i would not come back in here again. As I was walking away I noted that two new customers were sitting at the table we just vacated, they now had both our dirty cups and the previous punters adorning their space!Aptly named 'The Hideout ' ...I think the owners should be in hiding."

"On my sister 's last day in Edinburgh and on her way to the airport, I took her to visit this tea store this morning at 10:00 sharp. Since it seemed to be not open yet (although the working hours are from 10:00) we lightly knocked on the door to attract the attention of the people inside. What happened next was a very young man with a long hair, obviously a worker of this place, opening the door, blocking our way inside and yelling at us in a disrespectful and unfriendly manner. He screamed something along the lines of don 't you dare touch the door again, we are not open yet and when we asked when will the store be open because we were on our way to the airport and wanted to buy a lot of tea gifts for our friends and family, he started raising his voice again. He continued repeating you can go inside only when I tell you to go inside, don 't touch the door yourselves , nudging us to leave the store 's door front, which we eventually did. We don 't usually leave negative reviews but this was a really unpleasant and embarrassing situation, especially because she was my guest in Edinburgh and her experience was an amazing one before this morning. Prior to this situation I was a very loyal buyer at the Jordan Valley tea shop and I had enjoyed many times the hospitality of an elderly and a very friendly person working there. However, the young man 's behavior this morning was odd to say the least and this is definitely not the way people should be treated where they want to spend their money. For all the reasons mentioned above, I will not buy tea in this store anymore. The purpose of this review was to warn others of how disrespectful unfortunately they are and suggest you go to some other tea shop."

"Chicks on fire, is located well off the beaten track. It's not the kind of place you would necessarily find without previously knowing about it, and that's a shame. The decor is minimal, so we won't dwell too long on that, but the food is the real surprise. The amounts are copious.
