I went to chicks on fire for a 3 course dinner meal sponsored by Zomato ..It was a good experience overall... Food was ok .... I tried couple of things which includes corn on the cob, falafel sandwich and chips.. the dessert platter was really yummy ..especially the caramel cake ..I would recommend it to anyone who lives close to it

I recently stayed in Holloway with my daughter, who recently moved from Sydney to London, and we stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant. The food was fantastic and very affordable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. If they ever expand to other parts of the city, I highly recommend trying out Kiss on Fire - it's absolutely fabulous. View menu

Overall, it was a fantastic night at this restaurant! The prices were very affordable and the food was of high quality. There was a wide variety of options on the menu. I tried the family platter with fajitas and rukhun, which had a nice spice kick to it. The desserts were delicious. The only suggestion would be to have a few more dessert options. The staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs. I will definitely be returning!

What a lovely restaurant and pleasant staff! i found this restaurant through zomato and hadn't used it before. The restaurant is clean, well decorated and the chef and waiter are extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond my expectations and would definitely recommend it rather than eating nandos! For a group of 7 adults and 4 children the bill including alcohol was 140 which split between us was 40 each! really good value for the service, ambience and atmosphere!

küken im feuer is a cozy setup from hercules road in islington (near pipe st. is holloway road) and they are not disappointed when it comes to eating. they have a large selection of cold and hot meze stars. from humble to babaghanoush to a beautiful tangy tzatziki. their three-fold boiled chips go well with their grilled chicken (quarter / half or full option) and I loved the flavored their homemade Harissa sauce adds at a rate. The food at this restaurant, Chicks on Fire (MOST unfortunate name is outstanding. And most unusual. Delicious dips, delicious breads. I had chicken with Thai green curry marinade which was magnificent Thai curry at its best. My companion had her's without a marinade' as she doesn't like spicy food the Thai curry was only very slightly spicy. Although the fun with Chicks On Fire starts with the name, it follows on all the way to the place, the menu, the proprietor, chef and eventually the food. It's all so happy and feel good, you begin to wonder if the place is on drugs. What we do have here is the simple concept of grilled chicken modified with various sauces and marinades (think gourmet Nando's), and after finishing my meal it was clear it was a winning formula. Chicks on fire, is located well off the beaten track. It's not the kind of place you would necessarily find without previously knowing about it, and that's a shame. The decor is minimal, so we won't dwell too long on that, but the food is the real surprise. The amounts are copious. For starters, we had a platter of different dips, the colorful mix included hummous, guacamole and an interesting interpretation of Babaghanoush.
