Took some friends for coffee and cake to our favourite little coffee shop. They loved the decor and the shop. They also loved the lovely cakes and hot coffee. The setting is always so peaceful, keep up the great work.

Delicious and top quality afternoon tea! We had prebooked our table and it was all set up waiting with lovely vintage cups, saucers and plates. Generously filled sandwiches, fresh scones with cream Jam and a selection of gorgeous cakes on traditional tiered stands. The staff were friendly and kept us topped up with lots of tea!! Visited with my wife for lunch. Spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. Great service with a good menu. Very reasonably priced. Gluten free, vegetarian catered for. Wife had hearty cream of tomato soup with gluten free bread. I had bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich on granary. Good thick slices of lovely fresh bread with good quality bacon, plenty of brie. What a lovely treat it was to receive a Mr&Mrs C's voucher for Afternoon Tea for two as a birthday gift. I phoned this morning to enquire if I needed to book and was pleased they could reserve a table for us at 2pm. I was asked if we had any special dietary requirements so that they could be provided. On arrival the table was already set for us and we were given a warm and friendly greeting from staff. We were given a choice of which scones and cakes we would like. In no time at all a cake stand arrived with a delicious array of tasty sandwiches garnished with salad and crisps, wonderfully light slices of cake and scones with dishes of jam and clotted cream. Visited today for a Birthday Afternoon Tea with my daughter and family, The table was already set up even with a highchair for my grandson! Brilliant selection of homemade bread sandwiches with salad and lots of crisps! Some really big slabs of different cake and some scones with cream and jam! We all had refillable cappuccinos which were massive and the lady even brought a coloring book and pencils and a china teapot and cup which had juice in for my toddler grandson, which he loved! It was a very lovely experience and a really calm place which is spacious and beautifully decorated! The staff are very attentive and friendly and can’t do enough for you as a customer! This is a really popular cafe and every time I go all the tables are full so I can't stay. Finally today, after months of trying, I got a lovely window table all to myself! The smiley young lady at the counter took my order and told me to go settle down and they'd bring everything to me. My pot of tea was piping hot and served with a lovely vintage cup and saucer there was enough for two full cups which was perfect. I had a toasted bacon and tomato sandwich that came with an unexpected side salad which was drizzled with a lovely tangy but sweet dressing.
