"Food is good, service is very good. Only negative note is that when I book a table in advance I expect a decent table. I was given one close to the waiters desk, bit uncomfortable, you know the one you are given when you arrive unplanned and they make an effort to accomodate you. There were other tables available but I was said they were booked I booked too..... so overall not happy"

"yesterday, to celebrate my friend birthday and the efforts of the workers surpassed my expectations! when I booked a table, I asked if at the end of our meal they could bring a piece of cake with a candle. they brought a piece of delicious chocolate cake, served with an ice cream, with a sparkling candle and they wrote on the teller happy birthday and my friends names! They all helped me to sing a happy birthday and let my friend be pretty embarrassed as he expected nothing! we had a great night! Many thanks to all amazing employees who feel very special to us! "I had the most amazing dinner date with my husband here. While it was a little cramped and super unusual to sit so close to other people (after covid restrictions), the service and the food was worth it. We had to wait for a bout 15 minutes before we were seated, as it was very busy, but it was a pleasant evening for a little stroll so we had no problem with that. Sushi tasted great and the Ramen was perfect. My husband loved his marmite chicken and mochi. We both agreed that this place deserves a 5 star. The team working there is wonderful, very cheerful and polite, despite the super busy environment. Definitely recommend visiting, make sure to book a table in advance, as even on a working day it's packed."

"We had a wonderful evening at B&V last night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the drinks were excellent, all of which are typical for a high-class restaurant. The staff were also friendly and attentive. It appears that the bar area is now more for decoration, as there was no dedicated bartender that I could see, unlike in previous years. In the past, the staff would also take our coats, and while it may seem trivial, these small gestures added a special touch that set the restaurant apart from its competition. Despite this, I still believe that B&V is the best restaurant in the area, but paying attention to these details could elevate it even further and compete with Cockfosters as well."

"I went with one of my Mitpizzeria friends to crust woolton villiage and we agree that it is the best pizza we had in Britain. a few days later I brought my partner there to try it and he loves it too! the atmosphere is amazing, the service is excellent everyone is so friendly and natural the pizza is delicious...will be very soon back!"

"This is a special spot for Ealing. The menu is concise and everything is good, the chef has superb skill that you know you can’t replicate at home. (Can you say that for many mid priced restaurants generally?)Ealing Broadway is becoming gentrified, but unfortunately with identikit chain restaurants. It’s maybe a little off the grid in South Ealing, but by car, foot, Uber or Bolt, Flame and Fire is genuinely one of the best in West London as their recent second opening in Hammersmith testifies. Try the Beef Rib or Chef’s special lamb for melt in the mouth exquisite flavours. A gem."

"We visited The Lodge for Mother's Day lunch, after having booked. The meal itself was enjoyable with good quality dishes (we all had the roast, mix of beef and lamb really good joints! , well presented and which we thought were all value for money. How ever, we felt the service was somewhat lacking we had to ask for menus after a while, drinks order taken for only half the table then rushed off before asking the rest, had to ask for table water couple of times, etc. I appreciate that it might have been unusually busy for a Sunday given it was Mother's Day but I'm always a bit surprised when restaurants seem caught off guard by this, especially when they have a special menu in place."

"Booked this restaurant well in advance and received your confirmation. Strangely, we received no call from them to confirm the booking. We turned up as booked but there was no one there. We waited but still no staff. I then spotted a girl doing some paperwork behind the bar. I went to go to speak to her but she picked everything up and went away. I though she was going to get someone to see to us but no.. Eventually we left. This is the first time we have ever had such an experience and the management at Sir Richard should be ashamed of themselves. Fortunately a lovely Italian just down the road found us a table."

"I visited the restaurant for dinner, and the atmosphere was quite nice. The main course was very good, although it took a while to arrive, considering we were the only customers at the time. However, the most disappointing part was the starter. I ordered scallops, as I had always wanted to try them. While the portion was somewhat lacking for the price, it wasn't terrible. The real issue was that they tasted spoiled; they had a strong fishy odor, which I initially thought was normal, so I ate them anyway. Later that night, I experienced terrible stomach pain and learned that if scallops smell even slightly off, they shouldn't be served at all. Overall, aside from the disappointing starter—an important part of the meal—my experience was not bad."
