"Chose OKA Chelsea as my friend decided on sushi. First time visiting any of the OKA restaurants. Monday night, but still fully booked so when we arrived for our 8.00pm sitting left us with a limited choice of seating at the front of the restaurant. Wide selection on the menu, food arrived promptly and was very good. Service was courteous, fast and our waiter accommodated all our requests. A little noisy for quiet conversation and not somewhere I'd think of for a romantic meal but great buzz about the place. Will definitely go again."

Oka is my neighbourhood go to lunch and takeout Japanese restaurant. It is very good and very consistent.

Delicious food accompanied by attentive friendly service. If I had to find a negative, I would have to say it was chilling inside. Please install heating especially at the front of the restaurant.

I liked the styling and ambience of the restaurant. Staff were all friendly and attentive. I found the food to be a mixed bag my main criticism was the overuse of the teriyaki glaze on some of the dishes. The sweetness was overpowering, for example, on the kung pao chicken. Other dishes, such as the tempura green beans, were perfect.

After many times eating at OKA this is the first time I do not give them 5 stars. The reason is we tried the £15 set menu, only to discover that the quantities were small that the final bill was surprisingly steep, perhaps not surprising considering £6.50 pint of Asahi. Misleading definitely not worth it. Best stick to the a la carte menu.
