"This pub is situated in a very narrow old building, and is almost always very busy. The main bar is on the ground floor, with city workers drinking at most hours, with the dining area and a smaller bar upstairs. The selection of beer is just ok, but you can barely ever find room to even stand downstairs unless you're a regular and you're coming here with colleagues, it's probably not a good place to go for this. The food, served in a charming upstairs bit that has about 6 small tables, is quite good, and not too expensive (but certainly not cheap). The waiting staff are not very friendly however, and are often keen to turn you away as quickly as they can if it's a busy day. Dish wise, the fish and chips does the job, and the sliced beef baguette with red onions is very nice."
