"I 'm unsure how this restaurant is 'award winning '. I went for the first time and was really disappointed. The poppadoms were stale, I found a hair in the chutney. Some of the starters arrived cold so they took them away and when they came back, everything on the plate was piping hot, including the salad, so blatent microwave job. Long waits inbetween courses and very overpriced for what you get. The staff were friendly but I will not be returning."

"I travel all round the country with work and usual have a curry once a week, in the last 12 years that's a lot of different restaurants tried. The last year's been a lot of take aways. This place has got to be in the top 5. It's difficult to judge properly eating it as a takeaway but the food was authentic and delicious. "Visited this place for dinner, it's authentic Indian restaurant with great ambience and good customer service. We ordered keema parantha, chicken curry and garlic naan. We enjoyed Bollywood song which they are playing then food . Chicken was properly cooked and keema parantha was also good. Over all a good option for Indian food."

"We had a lovely fish and chip dinner from here, we were staying nearby so took it back with us. The chips were delicious and the fish was fresh. You can choose a large or medium cod, I had the medium and my husband had the large, but I think I could have managed the large fish too, the medium was quite small. The batter was very light and tasty, not thick and greasy. We hadn't got any vinegar or ketchup at our apartment (holiday rental) and they very generously provided all the vinegar and sauce sachets we could need. It was freshly cooked, so we didn't mind waiting for it and it was worth waiting for. We wouldn't hesitate to buy our fish chips from here again."

"Had a dinner with family. When we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday the dining room was a little quiet but by 8pm it had soon filled up. The food was phenomenal. It is slightly different to Indian food we are typically used to and in my opinion it is better. The breads were great. The curry’s were all super flavourful and trying a traditional dessert was lovely too. Alcohol is a little on the expensive side for the area. I can’t wait to return and try other things from the menu as there was so much on there that sounded so good."

"the owner of this restaurant has a very good memory and has recognized us from visiting some time back (pre covid!) as always was eating excellent. we shared two appetizers (onion bhaji and beetroot corn kebabs) that were both delicious. for our main course we had chicken lamb biriani and a horseebiriani. I love prawns and these were very big and delicious. the wine list is small, but has good labels. we enjoyed our meal very much and will soon return."

"I dined at this restaurant on Saturday evening with five friends after receiving a recommendation from a family member. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was empty except for two other diners, and the lighting was very bright and unwelcoming. Despite the initial setback of the staff being unaware of our booking and not having a table prepared for six, they quickly rectified the situation and we were attended to by a very attentive waiter. Our food selections were excellent, but the waiter's recommendations were even better. I would recommend this restaurant, however, the ambiance could be greatly improved by adjusting the lighting and upgrading the tableware. Adding tablecloths and candles would also enhance the dining experience. A more welcoming atmosphere could potentially attract more customers."

"Our order arrived at stated time..well it didn't take long to eat as we loved every dish. Each dish was generous in portion arrived piping hot. All meat was tender plentiful my vegetarian dish was amazingly tasty. I've written this straight after washing up as I was that impressed. "The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service was lacking this time. They were short-staffed, which isn't ideal for Valentine's night. However, the staff was very apologetic and honest about the reasons for the slow service. The lighting was quite bright, with some downlights shining directly in our faces, which took away from the romantic atmosphere. Despite these issues, the quality of the food is always worth the few pounds it costs."
