"We went to this restaurant for an early meal on Saturday and thought we wouldn't be there long as it was empty and had just opened. We ordered our chutney tray, drinks, and main meal and waited. The chutney tray came with poppadoms, but we noticed hairs in the chutneys. We told the waiter, who brought back the same chutney with hair in it. We complained again, but the issue wasn't resolved. The manager came out and claimed the hairs were coconut fibers, but we knew they were in all of the chutneys. We left the chutney tray and waited for our main meal, but it never came. After over an hour, we decided to leave. The staff tried to charge us for the whole meal, but we refused. We paid for the drinks and the starter with hair in it, but we were not happy. The manager made excuses while wearing dirty clothes, which was unacceptable. We left feeling disgusted and hungry, and we will never return to this restaurant. Be warned that this place is dirty, serves warm and flat drinks, has sweaty and smelly staff, overcharges for hairy food, and provides no service."

"The signature dishes at this restaurant are truly incredible and some of the best Indian food I've ever had. The chef is very talented. However, I am deducting 1 star because the man at the counter is rude and unprofessional with customers. Whenever I order through JustEat, he scolds me like I'm a misbehaving child and insists I should order directly from the restaurant because it would be cheaper (which is not true, the prices are the same or even higher when I call in). He is visibly frustrated by JustEat and takes it out on the customers. His behavior is unacceptable and I am considering not returning."

"the carnaby street makes the events always and then we use a newer for a cheaper (cough, bargain) dinner at dirty bones. there are three bige of dirty bones in carnaby, soho and shoreditch. her menu is new york style eating American comfort, so it was one I had my eye for some time. Also, I love the carnaby street area, it is a nice little retreat from the mass and tourist traps. what have we ordered? we had a lot of fried chicken, the bark short nativity and truffle friars. the short nativity should have been an salate. but we were happy with our error order, and it was my favorite of the table. the BBQ sauce on the ribs is aromatized by salted caramel and burnt bevel, so they know that there are some delicious sweet notes. the fried chicken fell a bit flatter, which was disappointed as one of the things we were most happy."

"What can I say, Tropicana was amazing. It was me and my missus’ first visit and boy, they did not disappoint. When you first enter the main entrance, you go up a flight of stairs but I like the idea how they made the place very ‘tropical’ with all the palm tree settings and paradise looking pictures and even the sounds of waves made it feel like you was in tropical place. As soon as you enter the main area, again there are more palm tree settings and there’s a circular dance floor right in the middle of the building. You have benches just outside of the dance floor and the bars are on the ‘upper’ section of the building. Food Drink We arrived there for 6PM and I believe happy hour is from 5 till 8. The majority of the cocktails are £10 but they are so worth it. You pretty much get more for your money here than places that do cocktails for £12.50 and get a lot less. The food was good. I got the jerk chicken wings starter and had the buttermilk chicken meal that came with rice and slaw. My Missus got the chicken skewers as the starter and the same main meal. The prices are affordable but I must warn you….the food is spicy. If you don’t like spice, then I suggest you stay away from jerk meals as this could potentially put you off the food……didn’t bother me though. I loved it all the same lol. Entertainment At 8 and 9 there were dancers performing on stage to different music and putting on a good show. The Performers stood at different areas such as around the floor or even on the tables lool. It was really fun and then from then on, the DJ was playing some nice mixes of music which pretty much catered to all ethnicities. The music would range from pop, old school hits, reggaeton, reggae music….I liked the reggae and reggaeton music to be fair and me and missus definitely got down to the music lol! Overall, the night was brilliant and I would definitely do it again. Thank you Tropicana and see you again soon!"

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant."

"It didn't start off very well as despite booking online and calling to confirm my reservation, upon arrival they didn't have a table for us. After a few minutes back and fourth they finally had us seated. Waiting staff were very friendly and kindly tended to us throughout. Unto the food.... It is prepared quite quickly, cooked really well full of distinctly Latin flavours. The tapa-style dishes were quite enjoyable and gave us some variety. The rice bowls were like a deconstructed burrito while the cachapa was a burrito with a corn flour wrap. The ambience is quite lively full of Latin inspired music and youthful exuberance. I think the price is not cheap but not expensive somewhere in the middle, but it is quite an authentic meal. So if you're looking for something a little different, good vibes, then this is the place but not somewhere for a quite romantic dinner to say the least."

"We used to use this restaurant every other week but unfortunately the service has gone down hill very quickly. Ordered a take out for 7pm it turned up an hour early with no explanation why. We had to microwave it to warm it up as some of family had not arrived. Then we ordered our 2 usual dishes last night and they sent a completely wrong order. When we called them we was told well we sent you a dearer dish so you shouldn’t complain? That’s simply mot the point the wrong order went straight in the bin. So sad we won’t be using these again we have other options to use take ours that get your order right every time and deliver on there promise. If you like eating food you have not ordered then this is the place for you"
