"We dined here twice during our narrowboat trip this week. The burger we had on Saturday was fantastic, and the steak on Wednesday was excellent. As a Texan, I can confidently say that the burger might be the best I've ever eaten! When I requested a second pot of tea, I received a big one instead of another small cup. The staff can be a bit slow if you're in a hurry, but when the narrowboat arrives, the young waitstaff are very friendly and take just the right amount of time."

"The calming was beautiful, though from the bright sun (with my sunglasses on! I didn't know the step into the restaurant.... We had a lovely waiter who had noticed the sticky/white-free request on my booking and was glad to explain what was available, but none of us was strict gluten/heat intolerance, so we said it was OK. The special offer of 4 tapas for each £12 was very good, the dishes came together with the right interval and none of us had eaten roasted eggplant slices, they were delicious. One of my options was the sea bass and it was nice, recently I was in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and the food there was so salty I was set off, but the spice on everything we chose was right. I would come back after a concert we would come back to have the brownies and coffee, but we did not finish, but I would definitely come back!!"

"I patiently waited for the previous review to be published. I dined at Los Reyas on Saturday and had an exquisite meal accompanied by incredible service. However, I couldn’t help but overhear some customers disrespecting the amazing staff. I urge everyone to read these reviews and consider this experience. I’m relieved those rude individuals won’t be returning—they don’t deserve to enjoy such a wonderful place. Please take note! Here are some pictures of the stunning food I had!"

"Fantastic, small, local Italian restaurant. Pizzas and pasta both very much enjoyed by all in our party of 8 (kids and adults), and the puddings were delicious too. Particularly recommend the tartufo pistacchio! Will definitely come again. Mille grazie! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available for up to age 9. Includes main (choice of 3 pasta dishes, pizza or nuggets), drink and ice cream. Portion was a good size for the 6 yr old in our party. Staff were accommodating and interacted with the kids. No activity sheets provided as the bigger chain restaurants do, but we had come prepared with activities anyway!"

"I first visited this pub more that 12 yrs ago when daughter was at Southampton Uni. Its quite difficult to find, but well worth the search, right on the banks of the River Hamble, thousands of private yachts in the marina. Parking is however a little awkward, you park on a narrow road, and have to walk down some steps to reach the pub. Ot park at Burseldon station, and walk along the path for 200 yds. It was busy on a Wednesday lunchtime, but I order a pint and a steak sandwich , and all was served with commendable efficiency. There is a more extensive dinner menu in a restaurant area. A really nice spot, pity about the accessability."

"We went to the restaurant on a peaceful Tuesday evening. Although the restaurant was quiet, it still had a great atmosphere. The waitress was very helpful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be visiting again."

"we love wallpaperria! it is a jewel in thornton heath. each time we visited, we had such a friendly welcome and the service is excellent. eating is amazing. it is authentic, generous and simply delicious. we had the paella for the first time this visit and it is such a good value for money. we ended up with a Doggy bag to enjoy it the next day. the tapas selection is huge and there is something for everyone there. The lammings are amazing, but our favorites are the termine in speck and the croquettas. I would recommend wallpaperria if they wish a romantic dinner, a family visit or just a nice place to dinner with the week. it's just brilliant and we'll be back soon."

"we only had one night in Darlington as it was a stop of on our holiday and so we could only book one meal but we sure did book a great place. The menu is very diverse with plenty of choice for all tastes, the food was extremely tasty and bursting with flavour and of high quality the prices were average but we got excellent food and excellent service the waiting staff were incredibly helpful and helped us a lot as one of our party had an unusual allergy, its obvious that the staff here really care about their customers and will go above and beyond to make the diners have a pleasant experience, the only downside is the room at the back of the restaurant is very echoey and it only took a couple of loud diners on nearby tables to make the background sound very piecing, I would definitely recommend some sound diffuser blocks on the wall in this room, apart from this everything was pretty much perfect."

"After our first visit we were only too happy to come again, this time with family. But this time it didn't live up to the same standards. Three people ordered medium rare steaks. When they came out one was clearly well done so we complained to our waitress. She disappeared with the steak to discuss it with the chef but didn't apologise. She returned with the original steak saying that the chef said that was how he always cooked medium rare steak. We said this was unacceptable so she took the plate away again. When she subsequently brought it back, whilst it was better it now had peppercorn sauce on instead of the mushroom sauce as ordered. So it was sent back again. Finally a satisfactory outcome but by this time the rest of us had just about finished. We also had an issue with a food intolerance with one of our desserts. Overall a very disappointing experience. We never received an apology and didn't leave a tip (almost unheard of for me as I am usually extremely generous). We haven't been back as there are much better places we have found subsequently that offer better food, service and at a more reasonable price."

"This was mine and my wife’s first visit to Titos and our initial impression was that this was a very smart little restaurant, with a relaxed vibe and with good smelling food cooking away in the background. Unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. First we were told there was no ice in the restaurant so they couldn’t make sangria and the waiter, who also seemed to be the manager, advised they couldn’t go out and get any as they were short staffed. We then settled on a beer for me and a wine for my wife which the waiter later admitted he forgot about, which was after we chased him for our drinks. We were also told that as we had a 7.45pm booking and the kitchen closed at 8, we had to choose our food ASAP otherwise they couldn’t cook what we wanted. Why take a 7.45pm booking then and why offer no flexibility in timings, especially as this was a bank holiday weekend so more people than usual would have been in the restaurant? Then we were told that a third of the menu items we chose were unavailable for various reasons anyway.....! The food came in a reasonable time and it was nice but it was still disappointing because it wasn’t really what we had wanted. Also, they forgot to bring us one of the tapas and didn’t even apologise properly when we pointed that out. Worse still, three quarters of the way though our meal we hear and see the same waiter filling an ice bucket with ice. Where did that come from? We tried to flag down some service but by the time we were successful we’d finished our food (and had not once been asked if then food was all okay and as expected, or if we needed another drink) so it was a bit late then to order a big jug of sangria. When challenged regarding the ice the waiter said he was “just about to come over and tell us”. Sadly he had not. Naturally we made our feelings known on the shambolic nature of the meal and service and in the end he agreed we would only pay for the food and not the two drinks we had each had."

"The food was mediocre and the service was awful. The waitstaff consistently messed up our order, we had to continuously request water, and we were given the wrong bill three times at the end of our meal. It's best to steer clear of this restaurant until their employees receive some proper training."

"We booked a table for on a Saturday evening for three people, When we arrived the restaurant was pretty empty bar two tables upstairs. We were seated and left with menus for The very young waitress came and took our orders. Our drinks...were a pint, a orange squash and one cocktail. We waited for these and received nothing, our first bits of food arrived before our drinks. When the food arrived we had no cutlery and no plates so we asked for these, the attitude on the server was as though we had asked for his life. How dare we enter a restaurant and want cutlery and plates to eat off. We also asked for our drinks( remember that really difficult order we placed, beer , squash and a cocktail) Eventually our drinks turned up but still no plates or cutlery so the dishes that had arrived where slowly going cold on our table whilst we stared at them wishing we could eat them. When a different waiter passed by we asked him for plates and cutlery and within seconds he brought them along with our other dishes. The first dishes were cold by this time so we asked for them to be reheated. Again we were faced with attitude and rudeness by the server (Andrew i think he was called) How dare we ask for our food to be hot or at least warm enough to eat. Andrew offered to reheat the dishes and return, he never did. We ate the few dishes we were left with which were hot enough and then left, as we went downstairs to pay we were faced with a bill featuring several of the dishes we hadn't received and being charged full price for the ones we had and had had to return due to being cold. Andrew had told us we could have the bill half price due to the shocking service and attitude he showed and yet the bill did not reflect this. We eventually came to an agreement on the bill and left. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. There was a table of who waited about just for drinks and then decided to leave, a couple behind us who hadn't even had a drinks order taken after an hour and a poor couple who were just about to sit when we left. We warned them not to bother, Unless they fancied a very long night. We will not be back and i warn anyone who does visit, take a book and maybe even your PJs and a change of clothes, your in for a long wait."

"The staff at this restaurant are charming and welcoming, the food was delicious and served in generous portions (we had to take some home), and the sangria was amazing. This hidden gem in the heart of Camberwell also has a great atmosphere with a mix of 80s tunes and Latin music. I highly recommend this place, I went for my nan's birthday and will definitely be returning."

"We dined at this restaurant on a very busy Tuesday evening and had an exceptionally positive experience. I hadn't noticed this place before, but the views of the winter gardens added to the enjoyment of our visit. The food was outstanding. The service was efficient, proactive, and friendly. Our group consisted of over 20 people, and all starters and main courses were served promptly, with everything prepared to a really high standard. The staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We will definitely come back again. Regarding dietary restrictions, there were vegetarian and vegan options available on all menus, and the communication about one of our guest's dietary needs was excellent."

"With no water in our village due to an accident and damaged pipeline, cooking at home wasn't so appealing so we headed off to our favourite bar and restaurant, the Corner House. The place was busy and technically full as many people had the same idea, but the staff rallied round to make room for us and despite them being run off their feet, the food and service was still absolutely fantastic. Congratulations to Luke and the rest of the staff, you really pulled it out of the bag... and this is exactly why we go back there time and time again. We couldn't recommend it more, 5 stars every time."

"As an experienced food enthusiast hailing from the Midwest and Western costal regions of the United States, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of Brea’s menu! I ordered the smoked duck with blackberry puree, chorizo jam and crispy Parma ham appetizers, as well as the scallops. The duck was a perfect combination of soft chewy duck, crisp ham and a delicious jam. The scallops were made to perfection. What stole the show, however, was the venison. No steak knife was required for this tender cut, perfectly pink and tender. To finish, I ordered the traditional cranachan with high expectations. Alongside the dishes, the spirits selection was impressive with local brews and whiskys. Would recommend!"

"Very enjoyable evening here. Six course tasting menu, the outstanding ones for us were deliciously intense mushroom and mustard soup ;fabulous fresh, citrussy tuna ceviche on lip smacking garlic and chilli guacamole ; superb gambas on paella with belly pork. Accompanied by smooth and easy drinking Rioja, also offering white or rose, Estrella for beer drinkers. All the diners around us appeared to be having an equally good time. Very reasonable value for such high quality."

"This place might be small but the food is mighty! Myself and 3 work colleagues hadn't eaten in Poole before and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was fast and the ladies where very attentive and water and drinks were topped up quickly. We all had 2 delicious course each, with 4 beers and the bill was less than ninety quid, bargain! It's in the street behind the quay but I advise you book so as to avoid disappointment. Absolutely wonderful food and great service. Can't wait to go back next time I'm working in Poole."
