"I paid $60 for biriyani which was good, a fish main dish that was a bit watery, rice, and $6 for 2 prawns. The portions were not very big and nothing special for the price. For better value, I recommend trying Indigo or Desi instead. I was expecting something exceptional for the price but was disappointed. I could have spent half the amount and had a more enjoyable meal elsewhere. If you're looking for something special, I suggest going somewhere else. I meant to say pounds, not dollars. I ordered on May 25th. It is true that you don't offer a prawn dish for 6 pounds, as I paid 12 pounds for lahshuni prawns and only received 2 overcooked prawns. I can provide a screenshot of my receipt if needed. I was unimpressed when I was expecting to be impressed by your food. The quality is on par with a mid-level takeaway. Desi in Hyson Green, just 5 minutes down the road, and Indigo in Mapperly offer better value and quality spices."

"The surf and turf sharer was mediocre, with a small lobster and lacking in vegetables. The scallops for the starter were not cooked well, being pan-fried without much color. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the restaurant with a barrier for protection. The service was average. This was a dinner meal costing around £80-90 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated 3 out of 5. Additionally, there is a free parking lot available for customers."

"One of the best rib eye steaks I have ever had. I had it medium and just melted in your mouth. Taste was first class and accompaniments of mushrooms, onion rings and double cooked chips were all cooked perfectly. It wasn’t that busy when we were there admittedly but the service was very attentive and food was cooked and served quickly. Will definitely be looking to go back again. Service: Dine in"

"We had originally made a reservation at a different Italian restaurant for dinner, but while walking around, we stumbled upon Prima. After checking out their menu, we decided to cancel our reservation and dine here instead. We each enjoyed a main course and a bottle of wine, both of which were delicious. I ordered clams and wished there had been a bowl for the empty shells instead of placing them on the tablecloth. A finger bowl would have been useful as well. Despite these minor issues, the service was overall very good. The atmosphere was excellent and we were surprised at how busy it was for a Monday evening. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely dine here again if we visit Ripon in the future."

"It’s not the first time we’ve visited Lilu and that’s because it is SO good. They have outstanding, fresh, tasty food and wonderful service from all the staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you step inside. Two courses are £35 or three...for £39. Book yourself in to make sure you get a table. They also offer tasting menus and other options so it’s worth checking out their website. We had the soft shell crab and salmon with mango and mint, the chicken tikka and lamb cutlets kebabs with a blue cheese naan, a medium chicken dish with a tasty sweet sauce and potatoes, duck with a medium spiced sauce with rice and various exciting sides, we also had three of the Lilu special naans and the papadums with an assortment of chutneys. To finish we had the chocolate ganache dessert which was so tasty. This place is a definite must try in Leicester! You will not regret it."

"Revisited for the first time in two years and the White Hart has not changed. Still average at best, considering the local competition visited recently on a works outing pre Xmas. The good stuff: staff friendly and very helpful. the place is warm but no roaring log fire. not so good stuff. Food is average at best veg way to undercooked, mains look better than they taste, bear in mind the local competition such as the Pheasant just down the road I think I would only go to the White Hart if the Pheasant was booked out. In an area where there are many places offering fare to the weary Heathrow traveler its important to stand out. This place does not. Make your own mind up"

"I went to Kri Kri for dinner again last Friday. The staff welcomed us warmly and the atmosphere was inviting. To start, we shared the Hummus and stuffed mushrooms, which were the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. For the main course, I ordered the Sea Bass, which was amazing - perfectly filleted and cooked to perfection. It was served with rice and roast potatoes, and all the mains were exceptional. The house wine was very good and reasonably priced by the glass or bottle, including Merlot. My husband had the chicken in wine and cream, which he loved. The staff provided excellent service with a smile, and the restaurant was very clean. We finished our meal with coffee and Baileys, and are already looking forward to our next visit. There is a large car park at the rear of the restaurant, and it is only a 5-minute walk from the 487 and 22 bus stop on Brook Street."

"If I go there with my friends, we love it. the service is always wonderful from the staff who are immediately available to help and always with a smile on their faces to the chef who is always sure that everything is excellent for...the customer. food prices are quite good for the quality of the kitchen. eating is always well cooked and we don't have to wait long to be served. I have tried all foods and they are wonderful, but I recommend the bacalhau à marinheiro and the francesinha. the cocktails are very good and the desserts are delicious. the restaurant is always clean and so are the bathroom and the room is organized so that customers feel in a very comfortable environment to eat. it is a perfect restaurant for birthday parties."

"Wow what an amazing place we hadn’t booked and were attending a show at Liverpool Empire so our schedule was tight. Upon entering we were given a seat straight away. Within minutes we were asked for our drinks order and we gave that as well as our food order. Only 8 minutes later the food and drink arrived!! Amazing service. The food was piping hot, well presented and served with a smile. It was perfect and VERY delicious indeed one of my favourite all time Turkish meals. The surroundings were beautiful and the staff were amazing and cheerful. We will most definitely return here. Please, if you are in Liverpool looking for somewhere to eat then you simply MUST visit Shiraz Palace you will not be disappointed!"

"The food here is amazing and the service is excellent. We booked the night before and were given a very comfortable seat in the window. As there were five of us eating we ordered many of the Tapas dishes on the menu and enjoyed all of them. The croquettes (on special) were particularly good and we also liked the lamb filo parcels. They were very busy and fully booked but the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. We also enjoyed a selection of delicious cheesecakes for dessert. (we all had a different one: passion fruit, almond, malteser and biscotti). We would definitely come back here next time we are passing through."

"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After we made our order, we were greeted by the drinks . Since is was a rainy night, we wanted to start our meal with some hot starter, but it’s a pity that they don’t have mussels at that night. Octopus salad became our second choice and we were totally impressed by this warm salad. What a good choice we made! Then the two big portion and delicious main course continued to light up the rest of the evening. The last but not the least, staffs are caring and friendly. We look forward to have another day with Bacaro."

"I've been here about three times now with the family, including a wedding reception. Always a fairly stress free trip, plenty of parking and the staff are always friendly. The food is nothing short of excellent.... if you eat meat. The vegetarian options on my last visit were a risotto (I've already had it, you know what you're getting with risotto), a goats' cheese salad, vegetable ravioli and a burger. This time I ordered the burger, having seen what the meat ones look like. When it arrived I honestly thought there had been a mistake. A single slice of lettuce, a single slice of tomato and a deep fried something or other that was so oily I couldn't taste anything else. My Brother's pulled pork burger on the other hand was phenomenal. Why would I eat this when I could get better, for half the price at Wetherspoons? Really lame, really disappointed. It is not that difficult to produce quality vegetarian food. I actually felt quite upset and spent most of the meal staring at my half eaten food. Unfortunately, the next time the Nags Head is suggested I will veto it."

"This is a very good restaurant, for a family night-out with the kids. The staff were excellent with the kids and were very polite when we ordered. "I have been to the restaurant many, many times, I may even have another review on here, because the food has always been amazing, sadly, their behaviour the other Sunday means I will never set foot in their restaurant again and will advise others not to. I'm disabled and have an assistant dog. For the many times I have been to this restaurant over the last 10 years, my assistance dog has always been with me and I've never had an issue. Recently, they changed their tables and now there are no table cloths for my assistance dog to hide under. On Sunday I attended with my assistance dog and my assistance dog in training, who will be replacing my assistance dog shortly and who is learning to fit into my life, so gaining experience. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we were welcomed. We picked a table out of the way on the right side of the restaurant that is split in two with a thick wall. Both my assistance dog and assistance dog in training were labelled as such and sat quietly beside me and made no noise and no fuss the entire time. We ordered drinks and food, all of which was lovely, we were coming to the end of the main course and were considering coffee and dessert when the waitress informed us that they had had a complaint from a another customer about the dogs and we had to stop enjoying our meal and leave. And not JUST leave, but leave via the back door and alley. Like we were some dirty little secret they didn't want anyone to know. I pointed out that they were not legally (Equity Act 2020) allowed to throw out my assistance dog, but they just shrugged clearly breaking the law is fine by them. While my assistance dog in training is NOT covered by the law, we would not have come in in the first place if his presence had not been permitted from the start, but we were welcomed in. The worst part of it was that there was NOBODY in our section of the restaurant so some nasty piece of work went out of their way to make my life more difficult and unpleasant and the restaurant made the choice that they would rather insult the disabled person and break the law than deal with the other customer. This entire unpleasant event has deeply upset me and made me feel like the staff at this restaurant have no understanding of the law, disability or common decency."

"Went there because of good reviews, and hopes were high. A multi course Italian dinner of chef’s choises of the day and the whole thing done similtaneously to all in that small restaurant wonderful consept! Was hoping to have nice wines too for different dishes but all they had by glass was inexpensive IGT wines. For bottles: no list, but some decent barolos and brunellos decorating their walls. Didn’t have a bottle on my own. About food having lived in Italy for years I have to say there was little Italian in any of the dishes. 1) Starter salad with young prociutto, that no one explained where it came from and how was it matured 2) followed by (ok) pork sausace on spinache, but nothing complicated for a chef to do 3) prawns in tomato sauce cooked until so dry I left them 4) plain scallops in oven, again over cooked (from frozen, both? why not have them really fresh when you know how many people are going to have this at this spesific day and time? Or then choose another ingredient, fresh? 5) razor clams in oven, topped with parsely and oil… nothing amazing, repeating my self but over cooked 6) ravioli with aspargus filling would eat this without question over any casual lunch but no reason to praise chef’s skills. No finesse. Simple cream sauce. 7) whole pork was brought by applauze and I guess some people do enjoy pouring gravy and shredding their pork pieces but sorry was not really the Italian experience I was hoping for 8) panna cotta with berries. Simple and easy to do also at home. Bill for 2 ppl including compulsory tip: 199£"

"Very good experience on a busy Saturday night. This place can seat about 40 and it was full. Nevertheless, service was quick and the food came at a decent speed. The food is the star here. We had 3 different dishes and all we well cooked, excellently spiced and very tasty. Portions were large as well, with plenty of food on the plate. Some free bread with olives to start as well as a mini Turkish pizza each just added to the evening. We had a dessert as well. Typical Turkish sweets, full of syrup and very well made. The baklava was one of the best we've ever had. Prices for what we had were reasonable as well, coming in at just below £28 per head. We didn't have any alcohol, so if you do, you can expect a significant increase. The owners were friendly and did not bother us too much, leaving us to enjoy our food. You really must book at this place. I saw 3 different couples turned away as they did not have a booking. Good food, reasonably priced in a nice environment with good service. Very highly recommended."

"Absolutely wonderful! From the service as soon as you walk in, to the staff, the food, it was just fantastic! Very helpful and efficient greeter who showed us to our table and noted the vegan note on the booking. He was able to advise what to order on the nut roast and what to swap out. All of the staff were highly attentive. The roast (I had the nut roast and my partner had the beef) was the best roast I’ve ever had! The quality of everything on the plate was incredible. Such a decent price as well for the quality you get. Thank you for such a lovely meal we cannot wait to come back when you start doing roasts again!"

"Sorry to be the odd ball here, but I just wasn't that impressed with the food. My husband and I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, trying something different from our normal Indian takeaway mainly because neighbours had recommended it, but we were hugely disappointed. The food wasn't really bad but just wasn't really that good either. I found it bland and hot without the spice. My husband also didn't find it that tasty and in particular felt there was more sauce then actual fish in his serving. He called to check the amount of fish that should have been in the serving and staff did confirm that his portion was a little less then what it should have been and offer compensation next time he ordered from them, which was a nice gesture but I think though its always great to try something new we will be sticking to our old takeaway."

"really nice and welcoming Greek restaurant. reminds me of the Lebanese Mediterranean eating with mezza. they have gyro press one on the street, that is more a sitting. divided starter, veggie mezze, meat and fish mezze. all were great, but very recommend the grilled halloumi, calamari, the pastichio, the lamb, grilled sardines. favorite what: saganaki garides!"
