"I paid $60 for biriyani which was good, a fish main dish that was a bit watery, rice, and $6 for 2 prawns. The portions were not very big and nothing special for the price. For better value, I recommend trying Indigo or Desi instead. I was expecting something exceptional for the price but was disappointed. I could have spent half the amount and had a more enjoyable meal elsewhere. If you're looking for something special, I suggest going somewhere else. I meant to say pounds, not dollars. I ordered on May 25th. It is true that you don't offer a prawn dish for 6 pounds, as I paid 12 pounds for lahshuni prawns and only received 2 overcooked prawns. I can provide a screenshot of my receipt if needed. I was unimpressed when I was expecting to be impressed by your food. The quality is on par with a mid-level takeaway. Desi in Hyson Green, just 5 minutes down the road, and Indigo in Mapperly offer better value and quality spices."

"Our second in recent years visit first time a few years ago it was fantastic back then. last night however waited 45 mins to get food order Both my wife's starter scallops and black pudding and main course were gritty and obviously the scallops hadn't been washed thoroughly. We sked for bottle of white wine when we arrived wine got a glass it wasnt properly chilled . Then for me the starter haddock chowder. I had to ask for soda bread that should of accompanied it as it was missing my main john dory in lemon saffron was perfect with beautiful aldentee veg. Then the bill. They had put down two bottles of wine bumping the price up. Its got potential but consistently in preparation and basics like chilled white wine hot food not lukewarm food should be norm at this price point. A string of things tonight made what should of been the highlight to our 3 day stay in llandudno a damp squib."

"the ignorance of the food industry towards food allergies is frightening and the heart restaurant is an excellent example for this unpredictable ignorance. the restaurant was informed in advance about the heavy allergy of my daughter on seafood. they gave us a table next to the kitchen, because they ignore at the heart that an allergic reaction can be caused by breathing in steaming from the cooking of seafood or any food. they fry the chips in the same oil where they roast seafood and roast the meat at the same place where they fry the garnels. the alternative offered was a waiting period of 30 minutes, hoping that someone would go. they let us wait in a street where the other restaurants wore their müll and smoke the people. unnecessary to say that we have gone. when we add that the restaurant was aware that it was my 40th birthday and we were there to celebrate, the image of an absolute ignorance and inability becomes more complete. absolutely terrible experience. to avoid any event!"

"It’s not the first time we’ve visited Lilu and that’s because it is SO good. They have outstanding, fresh, tasty food and wonderful service from all the staff who make you feel welcome as soon as you step inside. Two courses are £35 or three...for £39. Book yourself in to make sure you get a table. They also offer tasting menus and other options so it’s worth checking out their website. We had the soft shell crab and salmon with mango and mint, the chicken tikka and lamb cutlets kebabs with a blue cheese naan, a medium chicken dish with a tasty sweet sauce and potatoes, duck with a medium spiced sauce with rice and various exciting sides, we also had three of the Lilu special naans and the papadums with an assortment of chutneys. To finish we had the chocolate ganache dessert which was so tasty. This place is a definite must try in Leicester! You will not regret it."

"I was booked in with a group of friends, some of whom I had not seen for a while in person because of covid. I ordered from the early bird menu and had the Sardine Arancia followed by the Scaloppa Dijonese with sauté potatoes. I...was thinking of having a dessert as well when I arrived but was so full after the very generous portions of these that I had just an Americano coffee instead. Indeed the portions were so generous that some in the party were unable to manage just a main course. A box was provided to allow the remainder of a pizza to be taken home. The Sardine Arancia served spatchcock' style in light batter were full of flavour and the various strong flavours in the dish blended extremely well with each other. The sauce that the Scaloppa Dijonese came in was subtly flavoured. However the sauté potatoes were a little dry and this is the only reason why the food has been rated rather than Given the promptness of the service they might have been cooked a little while in advance and kept warm rather than cooked to order. The service was both friendly and very prompt. Either the kitchen is extremely well organised and run or most of the dishes were almost ready to serve before they were ordered. I would like to return here to sample more of the dishes on the menu."

"Greeted at the door and seated with no fuss. Drinks ordered straight away. Our food order: I started with king prawns very nice. Main course I had lamb shish kebab my partner had chicken shish kebab (so we could share) the meat was tender and juicy and very tasty. We finished of with ice cream and a cocktail. And the cost well we was pleasantly surprised it didn't break the bank...Great staff great food great service and great value . Will 100% visit again next time we are In liverpool"

"We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. After we made our order, we were greeted by the drinks . Since is was a rainy night, we wanted to start our meal with some hot starter, but it’s a pity that they don’t have mussels at that night. Octopus salad became our second choice and we were totally impressed by this warm salad. What a good choice we made! Then the two big portion and delicious main course continued to light up the rest of the evening. The last but not the least, staffs are caring and friendly. We look forward to have another day with Bacaro."

"If I go there with my friends, we love it. the service is always wonderful from the staff who are immediately available to help and always with a smile on their faces to the chef who is always sure that everything is excellent for...the customer. food prices are quite good for the quality of the kitchen. eating is always well cooked and we don't have to wait long to be served. I have tried all foods and they are wonderful, but I recommend the bacalhau à marinheiro and the francesinha. the cocktails are very good and the desserts are delicious. the restaurant is always clean and so are the bathroom and the room is organized so that customers feel in a very comfortable environment to eat. it is a perfect restaurant for birthday parties."

"I've been here about three times now with the family, including a wedding reception. Always a fairly stress free trip, plenty of parking and the staff are always friendly. The food is nothing short of excellent.... if you eat meat. The vegetarian options on my last visit were a risotto (I've already had it, you know what you're getting with risotto), a goats' cheese salad, vegetable ravioli and a burger. This time I ordered the burger, having seen what the meat ones look like. When it arrived I honestly thought there had been a mistake. A single slice of lettuce, a single slice of tomato and a deep fried something or other that was so oily I couldn't taste anything else. My Brother's pulled pork burger on the other hand was phenomenal. Why would I eat this when I could get better, for half the price at Wetherspoons? Really lame, really disappointed. It is not that difficult to produce quality vegetarian food. I actually felt quite upset and spent most of the meal staring at my half eaten food. Unfortunately, the next time the Nags Head is suggested I will veto it."

"Eating early, on my own, I was a bit hesitant. However, the staff were just lovely and gave me a great table looking out onto the street. The house white wine was perfectly chilled and tasted good, the olives flavourful. I had patatas bravas and a mushroom and prawn croquette they were both delicious. This place is definitely worth a visit highly recommended. Price per person: £20–30"

"Used to be really lovely food with quality ingredients but really letting itself down now with cheap chicken and salad . Also ordered my favourite tahini and it arrived as watery garlic mayonnaise! It was horrible . I asked if they had changed their recipe but was looked at in bewilderment and not offered an alternative despite obviously being unhappy with it and consequently not eating it . Very disappointed as it used to be one of my favourite places to eat ."

"This is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in outside of Italy . That is quite a statement, coming from a man who will categorically slate any restaurant who offers mediocre Italian food. I am Italian, 61, and live in London. I consider my self a very good cook having learnt in Tuscany and Lazio in the early 80s to mid 90s from old wives, chefs and cooks alike. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It not only offers a set taster menu of supreme quality, but has the feel of a real authentic Italian restaurant. The chef Mamoon is from Bangladesh but for me he can be an honorary Italian if he likes. He has learned from a great chef the owner can 't recall his name) but he has learned so well. The paccheri hand made pasta with sausage was the very best pasta I 've ever eaten in a restaurant outside of Italy. Cooked to perfection. The fagioli with pancetta was of supreme quality and he needs to teach me how to cook it. please, please... Any restaurant who offers both Ornellia £100) a bottle or Tignanello £240) per bottle is serious. I cannot afford these wines anymore, but recall drinking them in Italy and they are of exceptional quality. Their house red was excellent and smooth and reasonably priced. They decide what you eat. They ask you if you have any dislikes at the start and then they bring you out an 8 course meal of top notch quality. Antipasti of prosciutto, figs, rugola, asparagus in a lovely cheesy sauce, the amazing fagioli and pancetta, prawns in garlic and tomato, scallops, paccheri pasta with sausage meat and cream, with a grand finale of porchetta with oven potatoes. THIS RESTAURANT IS A TEN! Simona, the manager is lovely, attentive and welcoming. Mimmo the waiter work his socks off and is brilliant front of house. I cannot fault this restaurant. It might be pricy for some at £70 per head plus wine, but it is worth every penny. Will I be going back? 100%! So who is Tony Toast? Well he 's my lifelong friend. It 's not his real name just his alter-ego. We celebrated his 60th last night in this wonderful little restaurant and it was a night we shall all remember! Thank you Boccon di 'vino you are divine! "Absolutely wonderful! From the service as soon as you walk in, to the staff, the food, it was just fantastic! Very helpful and efficient greeter who showed us to our table and noted the vegan note on the booking. He was able to advise what to order on the nut roast and what to swap out. All of the staff were highly attentive. The roast (I had the nut roast and my partner had the beef) was the best roast I’ve ever had! The quality of everything on the plate was incredible. Such a decent price as well for the quality you get. Thank you for such a lovely meal we cannot wait to come back when you start doing roasts again!"

"really nice and welcoming Greek restaurant. reminds me of the Lebanese Mediterranean eating with mezza. they have gyro press one on the street, that is more a sitting. divided starter, veggie mezze, meat and fish mezze. all were great, but very recommend the grilled halloumi, calamari, the pastichio, the lamb, grilled sardines. favorite what: saganaki garides!"

"We visited on consecutive nights on a Thursday and Friday. All three of us had a stir fry the first night. It was simply superb and one of the most satisfying meals any of us have had for some time. The next night, two of us repeated the choice, I chose the Red Duck Curry. The curry is one I have a lot in Australia and was one of the best I ever tasted. Everyone's meal was again delicious. However, the level of service was out of this world. Smiling, helpful and always available staff, who even dress in traditional Thai clothing at the weekend. What an experience. Will be back for sure"

"have a celebration with my family. the personal, where very friendly and professional. the use of screen separated some from tabs I prefer. At some point, it's good to be just in your own blasphemy and safer. the food was so delicious and well presented. the server was very familiar with how you should be steak. I have a bit of every dish (all tasty and well seasoned) the cocktail hall was 2 for 1 before a certain time. very good and tasty also plenty of alcohol. really nicer place to go and a nice meal they try it out, they will not be disappointed."

"had such a nice time here it was our first time here and will not be the last. the food was freshly cooked and was hot when it was served our table. the portions are very large. the staff is also so nice and a friendly place to go. you have to say that they are also so good with the codified side of the dinge. they scan to order food and they come by and take the payment. eating is so delicious I am really impressed by this place."

"Visited here with 3 other ladies on a Friday evening, it was very quiet only one or two other diners. Warm welcome by staff, the restaurant was exceptionally hot, so maybe that could be turned down a little. Wine came promptly, we had to ask again for the water. Food was good, but served on cold plates, and as this was pasta, the food cooled down very quickly, in fact one of our party asked for hers to be popped in microwave as it had gone cold. This was done without a problem,but shouldn’t have been necessary. The coffee was not very good and seemed ‘watery’, so hopefully this can be improved. Early days for this restaurant, just a couple of things need improvement. We had an enjoyable evening"

"Poor Customer Service I was shocked and other customers around were shocked to the point one couple started apologising on behalf of the waiter who shouted at me for just reminding them of the chilli oil I ordered. I was actually a little scared and...wanted to just walk out of the restaurant, not eating the food I ordered. The couple next to me said this particular waiter has been like that all afternoon. Good is splendid and I’ve visited this restaurant a few times and the customer services has always been terrible but this time, it as really bad and I am never returning to this restaurant. I know it means nothing to them because they are very busy restaurant and wouldn’t lose anything if just me- a one customer stops going there. I just feel this wrong and customers should not be treated as though they are asking for favours. I am still shocked at their poor customer service and hope they train their waiters. Because there are people who would creat scenes when treated this way. It doesn’t look good for this beautiful restaurant."
