Tender chicken pieces cooked with aromatic ginger and spices, creating a flavorful and savory dish.

"Somethings changed used to really like takeaway from the Regent. But a couple of days ago it was poor. Several dishes I used to enjoy now brown, bland or downright weird. Didn’t keep the leftovers for the next day, which isn’t like me ! Plus seemed expensive for what we had. Won’t go back. "This is our 5th visit to kam sang restaurant and on previous occasions the food and service both excellent but last nights visit was totally different we were greeted by most of the staff wearing masks were shown to a table brought menus order taken the first course hot and sour soup was so spicy it brought tears to my boyfriends eyes he had the same soup in july totally different colour and taste and it so much tastier in july next the main course my boyfriend had house special curry the prawns were hard to eat and cut which spoiled the curry i had the beef and pineapple which was ok very pineapple laden and very underseasoned next the egg fried rice which was sticky clumped together and not very tasty the one redeeming part of the meal was the prawn crackers very tasty i must also say felt very watched by the staff when eating now u can be attentive to customer's without making u feel like u being watched if i do return and staff wearing masks i will not be staying as not comfortable being served by people wearing masks Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"There have been noticeable changes at the restaurant over the past year. The once friendly welcome has disappeared and it now feels more transactional. During my last two visits, I opted for takeaway and was disappointed to find that two of the £10+ meal containers were only two thirds full. I mentioned this to the staff, but they did not seem to see it as an issue. I have been a customer for years and while it is not cheap, I did not mind splurging on a treat every now and then. I think I will take a break from dining here until I hear that the quality has improved. As for parking, there are limited options available."

"We had booked this restaurant the previous day ahead of our overnight stay in the hotel next door and upon arriving we were clearly the first customers of the day. There wasn 't much of a welcome however we were just pointed to our table and handed menus and asked for drinks. Sure. that 's what you want but a Good evening, welcome, how are you this evening? wouldn 't have gone amiss though I must say I 've been to a few Indian restaurants where the 'welcome ' is much the same. Anyway, onto the food. Despite a rather lacklustre chicken kebab starter (it was fine, just chicken without any particularly flavoursome masala the main course of Sarisha Murgh was tasty and good although the supposed mustard flavour didn 't come through at all. The naan breads were good though thinner and more authentic than the usual massive ones you get. We also had dal tadka on the side which was ok very much a homestyle recipe and not the tastiest I 've ever had. All in all it filled us well however. The service was fine, if not exactly friendly and the interior is fairly spartan but for a village the size of Aberlady it 's good to have a choice of eateries and an Indian one at that. They just need to work on their welcome and perhaps also not charge £1.10 for poppadoms (plenty of restaurants will give them for free while you wait! . It 's Bring Your Own Bottle too."

"I enjoyed a delicious curry dinner at Curry Cottage At Lovers Leap last night! The food and service were excellent. They have a good selection of vegetarian options. There are a few parking spots outside the restaurant, and a carpark 50 yards down the road on the left. The atmosphere was great, and I highly recommend dishes like Butter Chicken, Pickle Tray, Curry Chicken, and Onion Bhaji. Vegetarians will find a large selection of dishes to choose from. There is plenty of parking available, including free street parking options. Overall, I give this restaurant a 5-star rating for food, service, and atmosphere."

"The last time I went to Koh Thai my table was booked for 630 and my food didn’t arrive until 915. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were short staffed , because usually the food and service is A* But now I’ve booked a table for my brothers 50th weeks ago and they have just cancelled us given us only six days notice for a table of 12 people and now we cannot find anywhere else that can accommodate us in such a short period of time When I called to discuss this, the lady on the phone was not very apologetic and clearly could’ve cared less. Very disappointed. Koh Thai has gone down in my estimation"
"Ordered a takeaway as heard it’s good and thought I’d try somewhere new. I had ordered chicken tikka masala and husband had lamb tikka masala. I know it’s not spicy as don’t like it hence why I order this dish every time, well to say it was bland is an understatement, I can honestly say I couldn’t taste anything, I thought I’d phone them up and say I wasn’t happy( something I wouldn’t normally do) I wasn’t funny with them or argumentative and was not even after a refund but was answered with ‘well it’s probably just not to your taste’ we’ve done over 100 masalas tonight without complaint’ . I guess I must be wrong then! No apology, nothing. Just very dismissive. I will not be giving them a second chance, not that they will care if the attitude in the phone is anything to go by."

"We visited this restaurant during a short visit to Aldershot. We were looking for a cuisine that we hadn't experienced before and chose the Dhaulagiri because it was a restaurant, rather than a cafe with a few tables, which many of the Nepalese eating places in Aldershot seemed to be. It was very welcoming and the menu was explained to us by the very helpful staff member. I have a dairy intolerance and he made sure I only chose food that I could eat. The onion bhajis were huge and very tasty. Our main courses were just as good with very tender meat. We were given a complimentary drink at the end of our meal. Prices were very reasonable and if we lived in the area, we would probably become regulars."

"We have been several times before the enlargement of the restaurant and had a fad time on every visit. Sadly, on our first visit since the revamp, it all went horribly wrong. Left waiting along time tor service, order took for ages to come even though we had our 4yo grandaughter with us and had explicitly ordered hers first, it didn't turn up until two if the three adult main meals had been served!! One unhappy child! When the adult meals turned up, they were not all as ordered some side orderers were burnt! Yes, the serving staff did their best to rectify the situation, and well done for that, but sadly, the whole event means that we won't be coming back anytime soon."

"I recently dined at this restaurant for lunch and had an excellent experience. The price per person was between £10-20, which I found to be quite reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would give both the food and service a rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also fantastic, earning a 5 out of 5 as well. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience."

"I love Chinese cuisine but can’t usually find gluten-free options at Chinese restaurants however The Peking Inn was fantastic! Not only did I have lots of choice, they were even able to alter some dishes I really wanted to accomandate my needs. We were a large group and I felt like the staff were super attentive and there was a great atmosphere. It was reasonably priced and a great selection of delicious food. Pam the owner is wonderful and I would highly recommend this restaurant especially to my fellow celiacs!"

"What a beautiful and stylish restaurant! The decor is contemporary and charming, set in a lovely garden at the end of a small lane near the main road. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was simply excellent. The food was delicious from start to finish, especially the festive Turkish dinner, which was cooked to perfection — flavorful and beautifully presented. The desserts were equally outstanding, featuring a delightful chocolate torte and a decadent bourbon and caramel sticky toffee pudding. The bill was also impressive, offering amazing value for money. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely return to this lovely spot. Thank you once again!"

"the menu could be somewhat larger, and it could be two portion sizes for the choice, but otherwise, error-free and consistent standards. they know that there is an effort in the preparation of the food when the frying sprouts are plucked at the front and back, the fried wobbles are made to house and the taste healthy and fresh. I am not a fan of chicken soup, but I love the grilled noodle soup and the salted vege and tofuss soup, which also has a good mushroom taste. good asian aromas and quality. with Singaporean and Malaysian connections, so for those looking for grilled suppenaromen similar to in SG/MY, this could be as good as in Britain."

"Have lived in the area for 7 years but only just made it to this fantastic restaurant. Fabulous range of vegetarian and vegan options, good portion sizes and delicious flavours all in a very pleasant environment with nice atmosphere. Nothing flashy, like being in the owners' living room just what you want from an authentic place like this. It won't be 7 years before we are going back! Vegetarian options: Most dishes offered with either tofu or Quorn! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection"

"Decent service, called to find out where my order was and the lady was polite and helpful. Delivered on time. But the food is really not nice I’m sorry to say. The 4 star overall rating fooled me but unfortunately the one star reviews have been proven true. Food was hot but rice was hard, meat looked and tasted old and of low quality. Left 80% of my plate untouched, couldn’t eat it. Won’t be returning for a second order. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 4"

"We were a hen party of 4 going out for a civilised meal. Absolutely fantastic service, we arrived and the lovely gentleman server even moved a table for us so we could sit with a sea view, totally unprompted! We were offered a delicious complementary free starter while waiting and the cocktails were delicious. The food arrived promptly and the spicy prawns were wonderfully fragrant, not insanely spicy but a pleasant amount of heat and the jerk chicken with rice and peas was delicious, authentic and a good portion size. The chef and server both visited our table to check everything was ok with our meal and we couldn’t have been happier with the quality of the food, the price and level of service we received. Thanks for making a memorable evening. Also worthy of note, the restaurant has artwork, beautiful handcrafted jewellery and even costumes for sale. Worth bringing extra pocket money and bringing some of the magic home for the memories!"

"I had the worst restaurant experience in Edinburgh at this place. The food was not good (we ordered the chili chicken ramen, regular chicken ramen, and vegetable gyoza). The service was really bad too. My friend got their food but I had to wait over 20 minutes because no one checked on us. I had to ask a different server for my food, and it wasn't even being prepared. Definitely not worth it. If you want ramen, go to Maki and Ramen instead - it's much better. There are also better Asian food options in town."

"I have eaten at many fine/overpriced restaurants and I feel they don’t top this place. The food here is the best food I’ve had eating out in a VERY LONG time and is worth every penny. I booked a table for my husband on a Friday evening whilst there was live entertainment and we had the most amazing time. I must admit the entertainment was a touch too loud and found it difficult to have a conversation however it was a great atmosphere."

"Lovely surroundings, decor and more importantly the food. Always queue but that’s because they are good. A victim of their own success, dues to demand they are quick to get you out!!! I did in enjoy the food, but extremely busy with a frantic buzz. Didn’t find it calm or chilled. Constantly having waiters try to remove my plate even though I had not finished and still eating! Trying to rush you to the next stage, to pay or leave! Seems like it’s a table per hour or less if they can. BUT food was good. Staff were polite and attentive, but with the aim to move you through to the end asap. Would go again, but not with the aim to relax, just as a meal and then move on!"
