"I don't use to write such a bad review, however they gave me no choice. I have never had such a long and mediocre experience in a restaurant. We sat at 7.30pm and the restaurant was nearly empty. After a while we ordered 2 starters and 5 main courses. The starters arrived in 20 minutes and the rest of the food at 9.40 when we were nearly leaving the restaurant after have asked few times about our order. The food was OK. Expect my order who was wrong. I received something like peas and zucchini when I asked for a mix grill. They brought me another one which was supposed to go to another table. The meat and the fish was dried and not so tasty. We ate everything because we were really starving at that point but I actually didn't finish mine, so I shared with my friends who agreed with me about the quality. We paid our bill and after that we said we should have been entitled to have a discount. The answer was that the service charged hadn't been added because of that. The service charge is optional and, of course, we weren't willing to pay for that. A discount and an apology would have been very kind and shown some respect for the customers. Inconveniences happen but the attitude was unacceptable. Please don't go. Ps:the table behind us waited 2 hrs as well, the table in our right was out in 20 minutes. Basically, everything is randomly served."

"The food was average and the prices were low, but the overall experience was not worth it because the food was overpriced. I ordered the chicken satay and the pomelo salad, but I was not impressed."

"Disappointing, I expected authentic Thai food, but it didn’t happen. The starters were good. However the curry was flavourless. The potatoes were hard and couldn’t be eaten. However the waitress was very pleasant. I have had authentic Thai food and expected the same. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £100+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2"

"We booked Karaoke and drinks space at Krua the team were incredible, not only throughout our stay, but throughout the booking process too Nutchaya was so flexible with our changing needs and was a delight to communicate with. The service and standard on the day was second the none and I am very much looking forward to coming again. The Karaoke room was also perfect for a big group and everyone had a blast! We didn't have any food at the restaurant but it looked and smelt amazing I can't wait to come back and try it. Many thanks again to the team!"

"I absolutely love this restaurant. It's easy to miss as it is located across from the car park entrance to the Beacon Hotel, above the Subway. This place is fantastic for vegetarians."

"great food, friendly staff and decor. alana, great work, keep it up. we were great within seconds after the entrance of the door, they could even postpone our booking as we were early. starter came fast and tasted absolutely amazing. we couldn't blame them in the least. our net, that was the smetterling pad thai was also something I would recommend. perfectly dimensioned, tasted from this world and something I would order again and again. the only thing I was disappointed was not getting a cold, but my partner did. the puddings were also brilliant, the chocolate exploded with taste and really satisfied that sweet tooth I had demanded. all in all we loved our experience and felt that our server alana was 10 out of 10. she helped us in our order, had a brilliant presentation and offered us an amazing customer service. the only one I was not satisfied with was the service fee that was added without warning. there may have been signs that I did not see, but I only found out when I was flipped and said that this was added automatically."
"Having never visited Portsmouth before we didn't know where to get dinner whilst visiting for my wife's work. Good ol' Trip Advisor drew this place to our attention, and boy are we glad it did! Service was friendly but attentive. Good knowledge of what was gluten free for my coeliac wife. All 4 dishes we had were outstanding. I particularly recommend the satay (perfectly cooked chicken) and the penang (such depth of flavour).. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest. A casual but smart interior in a quirky building added to the ambience, and the prices were reasonable. Oh, and if you've got a bit of space at the end of your meal, try the triple chocolate martini you'll thank me! I'm just hoping we need to go back to Portsmouth again soon...."

"The service at this restaurant was fast and welcoming, the establishment was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. It provided a delightful atmosphere for dining. They had a diverse array of wines, spirits, and delicious virgin cocktails. The Kwai Thai Ale was particularly recommended, as it was light and refreshing, making it an ideal match for spicier dishes. The food was cooked to perfection, offering a delightful blend of flavors and just the right amount of heat. The portion sizes were generous and the spice combinations were just right. There is some parking available nearby, but it's advised to allow extra time to find a spot and walk to the restaurant."

"Good venue. But I don 't like the dublin late bar thing where there is no financial reason why but they put the price of drinks up after 12 o 'clock. Good sound and good venue. Bar staff are good at doing their job but maybe need to be more chatty friendly instead of business like. I know you have to give plastic glasses for pints, but I hate them. And they are never a full pint. I have heard the argument many a time. There is a different shape but same amount. No, there not. Price should reflect this. Especially when you 're getting a Guinness and it needs a head. But apart from that the sound is great and toilet facilities are great. Could do with a cleaner monitoring them during the night, though, as they got grubby towards the end."

"I used to frequent the Queen Street branch of this restaurant a few years ago before the pandemic, visiting multiple times a week. The food was always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. However, after visiting twice in recent months, I am greatly disappointed. The teriyaki chicken now tastes more like boiled chicken with a sauce poured on top, and the portions of meat are small. I also ordered karaage on my second visit, but when asked about my rice and vegetable preferences, it wasn't followed through on. The portions were lackluster, and the sauce resembled a tasteless, clear glue. It felt like a throwback to old Asian takeaways with MSG from the 80s. It's a shame that the quality has declined so much, but despite this, people still seem willing to wait in line. I used to miss this place when I went to our suburban kokoru chain, but even that offers tastier and better value food than this restaurant."

"Changes over the last few years have left a hole in the vegetarian options. In my mind, this is an expensive place to eat with robotic, emotionless staff. Maybe I came on a bad day; however, there is no excuse when your pricing is on the premium side. Vegetarian options: Last time I came here, I was very impressed. Tonight's visit left me not in the best of moods. Vegetarian options are only available on dishes where they can simply omit the meat option, yet they charge the same price."

"This restaurant in Colchester is definitely the best we have tried. We had an amazing meal there last night. This was our first visit since the refurbishment and we were impressed with the new dishes on the menu. The staff and atmosphere were fantastic. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and we highly recommend trying them. The service, food, and atmosphere all receive a top score of 5. Some recommended dishes include Tempura Asparagus, Roast Duck, and North Hill Noodles. Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled on the menu. Overall, this restaurant is well worth a visit for a delicious dinner costing around £30-40 per person."

"The food at this restaurant is authentic and delicious. My family and I, who have lived in Thailand and have a Thai family member, frequent this establishment often and are always satisfied with the quality of the dishes. The food is made to order, but the wait time is usually minimal. The same woman has been managing the restaurant for a significant amount of time, and the service is consistently friendly and efficient. I don't understand why some people may see the prices as expensive - the staff always put in their best effort and deserve fair compensation for their work. The owner also deserves to make a profit for her dedication and hard work, considering the costs of ingredients, utilities, and business expenses. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"The restaurant has a very friendly and helpful staff, with a menu clearly indicating which dishes can be made vegan. The food is both tasty and affordable, and the atmosphere is lovely. The only downside is that the cocktail menu is not clearly labeled, and some drinks may contain non-vegan ingredients such as Baileys or egg white."
