"Decided to get away here because the location was convenient and I have eaten in another harvester in the past that had a decent menu. Do not expect how pub is like this place (not a restaurant). They're collecting riots from the bar. For Takeaway there are a few starters and some chip pages and three vegan burgers. No desserts. Very limited choice. The food was nice enough, but due to the limited range we will not use this service very much. You can add and remove ingredients on the app, but it does not show vegan options here that feels like a mistake."

"They didn't have our booking in their system which caused issues due to it being a busy Mother's Day. Open Table had sent me an email confirmation. They made me feel like it was my fault and I was a burden to them. This was difficult as it is likely to be the last Mothers Day with my mum who has cancer so we were already quite emotional. When I said I had booked a table for the woman at the desk said "but there is of you" I apologised on behalf of my month old son who I didn't know I should have booked a place for. She replied with "so there is that makes it difficult." I appreciate should book for all people but the attitude was ridiculously poor. I felt embarrassed to be such a burden to them, having to bend over backwards to accommodate Mt booking and provide a child seat. Will never go there again, not even under duress. A sensitive mothers day ruined and a shame that Open Table support this restaurant after all of the positive bookings I have made in the past.I hope this was useful to you, I don't usually complain, but I shall certainly remember that meal as the worst meal experience of my life. "Although the restaurant is pleasantly decorated, that was the highlight of our visit. We felt that there was a bad attitude to customers from the start. We asked for tap water and instead of being given a jug for the table, we were each given a half filled glass. When we saw the astronomical prices for drinks, for water, for creamy milk drinks we realised that we'd better make our tepid tap water last. The food was average with no extras like you'd expect our cold mezze plate for was basically some dips plus rice in vine leaves. No pitta you have to pay extra for that. Rest of food distinctly average, some not nice at all spinach parcels avoid. Very loud music playing. Large service charge added. Will never go back"

"We booked here last minute when let down by a well known Roast dinner provider nearby. We called to request a booking for 15 family members for my daughters 6th birthday, and straight away the gentleman on the phone was polite, friendly and accommodating, booking us in at our requested time straight away. When we arrived, our table wasn't quite ready for us due to a shift change, so our host personally arranged for this to be fixed straight away in super quick time. We were introduced to our server for the evening, Samir, and what a credit to the company he was making sure we all had water, taking our orders at just the right times and all with a smile on his face. He even arranged to bring out the birthday girls dessert with a candle in it for her to blow out without being asked. She was over the moon, and to top it all off, the food was really tasty, well cooked and served promptly. Thank you so much to Samir and the rest of your team for helping to make Our little princess's birthday special."

"I really enjoyed my steak cooked to perfection, just the way I like it! It had a nice charred flavor without being tough. My friends ordered the spicy glazed ribs and loved them. "So where to start ok first time for me go to this harvester and once parked to walk to the entrance I noticed the shield hanging on the wall in the need of repair and overall you can see that it did not pay for a few years or well looked after, once inside we were ushered to our table, Once offered us, the menu mine had the additional bonus of dried food stuck in the menu as well as someone's hair luck me. After ordering food and beverages we were offered to go into the salad bar and choices that were added to the bowls all well, although the harvester salad carton is not as much as the harvester from years ago back at the table and first fork of mixed salad I realized that the fork I had used over food welded to the tines another surprise I was not expected. Look around and you know that this venue was not very long maintained or properly cleaned, dust and fat on the lampshades spots on paint-rocking boards of structures come and I don't think that the outside seat has seen a jetwash in recent years. Go to the toilet! Well, what can I say is positive the hand dryer works well! So cubic covered with graffiti tags and clear the cleaning team is nowhere near the back of the toilet, since obviously it is not seen a cleaning cloth mop or bleach in years! The hot water on washbasin 1 does not work and the hot water on washbasin 2 is not hot So back to the food I ordered the mix-grill with Rump-Steak saw someone trying to cut his Streak, the Arta looked like boot leather I asked about medium rarely hopefully arrive medium, I had right to a degree, it was far beyond medium rare and medium in fact it was over well, but it was edible The size of the meal is enormous, but the gammon is incredibly salty and re-cooked much longer than necessary, but again edible Overall it is very disappointing and it is not a place where I return until the owners decide to update the property and improve the state of the toilets and total cleaning standard as well as show repairs, The only positive I can say is the service staff really try and give you a positive and enjoy."

"We had reserved a table, so there was no wait upon arrival. However, we were disappointed to find out that they did not have fish and chips available. The vegetarian options were limited and not very appealing. Upon being seated, we were not asked about our drink preferences. When we finally got the waitress's attention for drinks, we were informed that there was no drink menu available, leaving us unsure of prices. It was also challenging to get the waitress's attention between courses."

"This is a good place to dine on a day out en route to Portsmouth. Excellent booking service, easy parking, a friendly welcome on arrival, prompt and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere and good food . One unfortunate hiccup with the dessert. There was an unwanted piece of wrapping paper in the Ice Cream Sundae. The waitress reported it to the kitchen and we were not charged for the desserts. Nevertheless, it is very likely that we will go there again."

"We went for a family dinner on a Friday, which was booked the day before. Booking the table itself was very easy automated via mobile. The Harvester pub has a fairly big car park. The ambiance was great with plenty of outside seating, which sadly couldn't be availed that day due to rain. We were served by the friendly Naomi. The menu has a very good spread and is moderately priced. We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas style 4 item starter. The burgers ordered by me and my son, and the mixed grill ordered by wife were delicious. We also enjoyed the complimentary unlimited salad section. We were too full to try out dessert, despite the options sounding yummy. Overall it was a lovely dining experience."

"Seated quickly, starters were quickly served and was fine. Garlic mushrooms for me and garlic bread for my bonus daughter. Mains; salmon and dill fishcakes and chicken fillet burger. Took at least 20 mins after finishing our starter to arrive and could see it waiting to be served on the top of the cooking area for 10 mins of the wait. So let me start with my fishcake meal, peas were cold, chips were just cooked but not nice at all and the fishcakes burnt on the outside and the flavour was not what I would expect of a fishcake sort of had a soap taste. Really odd and didn't get eaten. My step daughter same feedback on the chips and the bacon that came with the burger was dry. She just picked at it and said oh I am done with this. Skipped desserts and left. Paid the 31 pound bill and off we went. Won't visit again!"

"This is the first negative review that I have ever written. I typically like to share positive experiences, but unfortunately, the experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. When I arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday evening, I was informed that they had run out of cod and chips. I settled for the salmon fish cakes and chips instead. However, the fish cakes were deep-fried and greasy, with a strange taste that made them inedible. The salad bar offerings were uninspiring and the peas were overcooked. The only saving grace was the chips, which were decent. The restaurant had a bad smell, giving the impression that the tables were wiped with dirty cloths, and the overall cleanliness was lacking. My partner reported that the toilets were not well-maintained, and we even saw toilet paper trailing out of the gents restroom onto the restaurant floor. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed, with tables left uncleared for long periods of time. This was by far the worst meal and dining experience I have had in decades."

"we had lunch here today, for decades since I was in a harvester, and I took my teenagers today for the first time, it was really good! the personal was really friendly helpful, there were unavailable items that immediately informed us everything we wanted was available and was hot and tasty. double dirty burger, chicken waffel and the 1983 rotisserie huh and ripen. the staff that served them the salatable was not sure, but I understand why it was done. all very pleasant, we are back."
