The brisket sandwich was excellent, although the bun was average. The sweet potato fries and baked beans were also delicious.

Pappy's is back in action after a short break due to CoVid-19, now offering carry-out only. The ribs were perfectly cooked with a heavy smoke flavor, tender and delicious.

Anna was fantastic! She was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond for us. She regularly checked in to ensure that everything was to our liking, including our food and drinks. View menu

Lovely breakfast all fresh and hot and good quality ingredients but the experience was made by Bev the waitress. She was so friendly and assertive. She’s a great asset to the place

The staff was disrespectful, the tables were filthy throughout the restaurant, the service was poor, and the floors in the bathroom were wet. It was a terrible experience and I will never dine at a Harvester restaurant again.

Stopped here on way home ,service was waitress waited over 40mins for our soup, was quiet at time our waitress BEV was fantastic she went into kitchen a few times trying her to find out what was going on ,soup wasn't worth the wait ,main dish no butter available only margarine yuk to put on jacket pot chicken was nice only over cooked on outside ,friends main change from ja4cket to chips because no butter gravy had been sitting as had a film over it egg what can I say was burst hard but you yet white of it was not cooked still slimmy and soft . Only good thing was BEV very good at her job ,chefs seem in need too much of a hurry to finish even though we waited so long for the starter, not goo...

Unfortunately, this Harvester venue seems to have gone very downhill, from our last visit, which was last year. Have never experienced a 'no butter ' with jacket potato during the week policy before, butter. only on weekends?? The lady serving us was, I am sure, under duress, in having to relate this rule, plus no ice cream available, and certain wine not available, to every customer, whilst my friend and made light of it, I am sure many customers are not so happy. We were given hot bowls for our salad and felt like we were an inconvenience to the waitress. The drinks no longer offered free refills, and the kids had a dessert included in their menu instead. The food was good overall, with a great salad bar and delicious scampi, veg sticks, and chicken pieces. However, the rump steak ordered by my oldest nephew was surprisingly small for an older kids' meal. While the food was enjoyable, the service was lacking. The waitress seemed disinterested and didn't communicate well with us. When it came time to pay, I tried to use a special offer from the app, but the waitress was not accommodating.
