"Went for a brunch meeting and the food was nice but the service wasn't great. Had to ask to order second round of drinks, then ask again when they hadn't appeared. Had to ask twice for the bill and despite lots of staff being around getting attention was quite hard. Good location and might go back for food but not when in a hurry."

"We discovered this wonderful restaurant slightly off the main path in Colchester, just a 5-minute walk from the castle. After exploring the castle for a few hours (highly recommended with a guide), we decided to stop by and were pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly, the coffee lived up to its promise of being the best, and the muffins were absolutely delicious. If we ever find ourselves in Colchester again, we will definitely be returning to this lovely spot!"

"The Albion Cafe is located behind the Tate Modern. This is a great find, it's both a shop selling an interesting selection of food and drink products (including Hampers and a lovely selection of baked goods) and a Cafe. On this visit I just ordered coffee and a piece of cake, but do plan to return to try more from the menu, as the coffee which came in a cute coffee pot was excellent and the Victoria sponge with it's delicious buttercream filling was just perfect, shop brought cake is never this good, it was like the very best of home baking. The service was also very efficient and professional, which I guess is no surprise as the Albion Cafe is part of the Conran Group."

"beautiful caffe with a lively staff. Unfortunately, I could not try a cake yet, but I am happy to visit brighton to taste the pistachios eclair and something else. Since then, I have tried two croissants and a bake with pistachio cream. the baked was amazing, but you could taste a little artificial aroma in pistachios only due to the intense taste that would not happen if you used real pistachio paste. second option is that it is used to taste the cream, how to taste a mandel taste. when it comes to croissants, I was a little disappointed, as they were not as fluffy as I expected and a little dry inside. they were more on a soft side than flaky. the berry croissant was beautiful, but could have a little more filling. the salted karamell haseluss was amazing, the praline inside was very tasty, sweet and crispy! yum! I hope we can reach the next time pistaziio eclair:"

"while we stayed at the covent garden hotel in august 2016, we had an breakfast in the brasserie max. the breakfast spread, service and menu options were absolutely fantastic and without doubt the most beautiful put together breakfast every hotel I stayed. the continental objects were fresh with a lot of choice with beautiful berries, fruit and pasture, baked and seasoned. also the daily juices and warm menu items were delicious. later in our stay we also visited the bar for an evening drink with canapés, together with a late evening tea sitting outside enjoying the street view. we enjoyed each of our experiences. a beautiful place to enjoy time together with good quality products and service."

"I really enjoyed the food during my second visit to the restaurant with my daughter. However, she wasn't too impressed with the pizza this time around. I gave the restaurant a 4 out of 10 in 2012, but I must say that it has improved and I would now rate it a 7 out of 10 in 2015."

"My friend and I stayed in the guesthouse for three nights and we enjoyed our stay here so much!! A very clean kitchen room for self-catering, including washing machine! We had a very spacious, comfortable and cozy room for a good price with breakfast included! The bathrooms are also really clean, spacious and private (even if they are not accessible from the rooms! We are both vegan and it was no problem at all to change the vegetarian option at breakfast, Cappuccino was a Euro extra, Americanos are free (sometimes we did not have to pay the additional fee depending on how long the service took! : would come back at any time when I was in Belfast!"

"This was not our first visit,we went on a Saturday night, there was live music and after us became very busy. The music level was a bit too loud. We ordered our food, unfortunately the lamb shank was off the menu, so chose an alternative, my husband’s arrived but mine after he had nearly finished and I had finally caught the waitresses eye! When she arrived with it, she said it was very busy but would remove the side salads from the bill. So my true reply would yes/no to recommend as would think twice about rebooking"

"Previously past Sunday and broken into breakfast, we ordered 2x complete breakfast, eggs on brioche and pain au chocolat. hot drinks came in takeaway cups, although we eat. the drinks were very good. the breakfast. was served in a pan, the handle was extremely hot, so we ate the food from the pan, I would have preferred to place the food on the dish on which the pan came, but it was not possible. as others have said, the quality of food is very good, food was hot and very pleasant. the only improvement would be to serve food on the plate and drinks in china tassen or tassen. the staff was very friendly and extremely covered. will definitely be back to visit."

"This changed hands about a year ago and it’s now a delightful Italian cafe restaurant. Today I had the most wonderful roast vegetable salad that was beautifully presented. Roast vegetables on a dressed leaf base with large pieces of basil, dill and flat leaf parsley and a balsamic dressing round the edge of the wide rimmed bowl. The roast vegetables were slightly warm; not the fridge cold veg you so often get. Very welcoming service made my quick work lunch a real pleasure. A family with a small child was welcomed and I’m sure they had a lovely time. I look forward to visiting again as soon as possible. And they make their own biscotti!!"

"Looking for something to eat rather early on a Sunday, Books and Beans offers the best opening times in Aberdeen. Given their big range of food, the vegan options are somewhat poor. There was no vegan breakfast, yet, I could take a sandwich instead (the Tripple Decker Something). Not exceptional, but a generous serving and therefore filling. (No beans though Soups supposed to be vegan most of the time as well. Service was good, WiFi connections was good too. Nicely furnished additional seatings upstairs. Seems to be pretty popular in Aberdeen; I've seen plenty of mercandise Overall nice place, worthy of support. Would go again."

"This place is incredible! Initially, we went for aperitivo, but ended up staying for a full dinner. It was recommended to us by our Italian friends, and we absolutely adored it."
