When I contacted them, I was informed that I would not be able to receive a refund. I regret not getting my money back after not receiving my order. "I ordered a tandoori full chicken for including the delivery and service charges , the menu said that full chicken comes with rice and salad and it takes minutes . the minutes passed and more than an hour after that the driver came but he neither buzzed the intercom nor phoned me but he was pushing the main door like there was no buzzer !!! I opened and took the food only to find the rice was not there , the salad was only onion and lettuce plus one small piece of tomato ! and the chicken itself was not cooked properly ! so I paid all those money only to have a disgusting chicken and missing rice .Extremely not professional with a negative attitude and dont deserve even this one star . just avoid them at all cost"

"I had just come from an important meeting, and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. I had worked up quite an appetite so was really looking forward to my meal. I ordered a falafel wrap from the grumpy man at the counter....I waited to be shown to a table, and made several business calls whilst waiting for my food to be served. The man eventually served my food, but rather than being apologetic about leaving me waiting, seemed annoyed at ME for asking to be seated, and replied that there were no tables! I was shocked by his attitude to me as a paying customer simply because I needed a place to sit to make some important calls. I reluctantly took my wrap the short walk home to eat it. When I unwrapped it I was pleasantly surprised by the large portion and good favour so forgave the earlier mistreatment. However, that night I was up all night with tummy trouble. I pride myself on having an INCREDIBLY strong stomach, so thought of this as fluke. A second indecent with their falafel wraps has convinced me that this establishment has serious food hygiene problems. AVOID."

"we thought we would avoid the Saturday evening rush and order around 16:10, so we didn't have to wait forever until it comes. this was the first time we used 'best kebab' and will be the last. uber eats said it would be delivered 16:50-17:10... the seemed a bit overly for the £20 order (1 x kebab, 1 x burger, 1 x cheesy chips and 1 x mozerella sticks.) but it is what it is. it will be 17:10 and we will wait. it is until 17:30 and we are waiting. 17:35 And we clink, they say they have a problem with their rides, and there will be 10 minutes, no apologies, nothing. eating came around 17:45, no apologies, nothing. eating was in the average. my partner “Special” burger (bef mit donnerfleisch) had 4 pieces donner on a lukewarm but crispy burger. my kebab was also lukewarm and I had never had so chewy meat in my life. the chips that were in the box were divided into two layers, the lower half closest to the box was like a red musk (obvily at any place it was hot and simply shaped into one with the condensation) and the upper side were hard as nails and cold. Mozerella sticks needed to heat as they were fixed and the Cheesy chips were only lukewarm with a mass of cold, solid cheese up. if they can not provide a delivery grater to ensure that their warm food is delivered immediately (we live about 6 minutes away) then they do not offer any delivery. do not pack their food ready and leave it easy until someone appears to deliver it, otherwise they will their customers inedible sh!t. revolver with our usual choice of spire pizzas. can not recommend this enough, along with express kebab house, which are just around the corner of this “business”. I will never use “Best Kebab” again. do not make the same mistake."

"This was our first time trying this restaurant, and we were a bit skeptical when our delivery arrived late. However, we live in Stobswell, and to our surprise, the food was still hot and not soggy. The salad, kebab, and filling in the calzone were all fresh, and the fries remained crispy. They also provided a variety of delicious sauces that tasted homemade. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money. The chicken pieces were tender, and the coating was crispy, distinguishing it from other places we've tried. I will definitely order from them again. Sorry, no photos—I ate everything before I could take any!"

"I ordered a double sausage supper and paid £4.40 for it. Unfortunately, I received a bag of chips instead, due to a mistake made by the girl serving me. When I called the restaurant, the girl sincerely apologized and her boss offered to bring the sausages to me. However, since I live in Airdrie, I declined the offer. I was upset about the mix-up and would like to extend my apologies to the girl who served me and her boss."

"Our group of 5 visited Cafe Venice for the first time after attending an England rugby match at Twickenham Stadium. It's a 20-minute walk from there, so not much different than a venue in Twickenham town center. I made a telephone booking about 10 days before our visit and clarified that on rugby days, they offer a restricted menu at lunchtime but a full menu in the evenings. Note that there is a good specials menu in addition to the extensive menu on the website. We had booked for 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was busy with many other customers who had also been to the rugby match. We received a warm welcome, and the service throughout was friendly and efficient. For starters, we had dough balls, mushrooms, mussels, calamari, and whitebait. For mains, we had carbonara, calzone, and sea bass fillets, all served with salad or chips. The portions were generous and very tasty, and the food and wine were reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Cafe Venice and will definitely be returning."

"We visited the restaurant before attending a show at the Royal Albert Hall. The food was very tasty and authentically Italian. The pizza especially was the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK and the puddings, chocolate cake and tiramisu, were also exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great, especially from our waiter Yassin. The only (very minor) negative was that as the restaurant became busier, it became very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Could do with a bit of sound-proofing! Regardless, I would definitely recommend for a great Italian meal."

"First off despite booking delivery for 22.55 the email said ASAP. Rang an unpleasant chappie who blamed me but said would change to 23.00. Then delivery driver rang at 23.15 and said couldn't find our house. He was at wrong area altogether. Gave him directions and he still couldn't find us and rang back twice. The second time telling me he cant find our address so cant deliver.I rang saying I wanted refund but was told no refund as its been delivered. It eventually turned up at 23.35 as I was attempting to cancel again on phone but getting nowhere apart from abuse so I gave it back and answered the door to be greeted by the delivery plonker telling me off for swearing in my own house behind closed doors as he could hear me ! Oh and the food was atrocious even after warming it up and ended up in the bin."

"Booked Meal Friday's music event for 8pm. Pianist did not show up. No music at all. (Not even background music). Ambience poor as most people seemed to be there for event. We were looking forward to the meal event as we were only in London for 4 days. Would not really recommend cheese platter as there is hardly enough for one person, never mind to share. Main meal was fine. Staff were pleasant. However, manager did not advise that the pianist was not coming until well after 9pm. Customers seemed to leave quite soon after that. A disappointing evening."

"Excellent fish and chips freshly cooked and great service from the lady behind the counter who was also the chef. The fish was beautiful and white flesh, really fresh and the chips were how chips should be, piping hot and cooked to perfection. Absolute bliss.
