"We visited the restaurant before attending a show at the Royal Albert Hall. The food was very tasty and authentically Italian. The pizza especially was the best I’ve had anywhere in the UK and the puddings, chocolate cake and tiramisu, were also exceptional. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great, especially from our waiter Yassin. The only (very minor) negative was that as the restaurant became busier, it became very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Could do with a bit of sound-proofing! Regardless, I would definitely recommend for a great Italian meal."

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Real Italian food and proper pizza. We were very impressed as we regularly eat Italian food and this was excellent. Even though it was a busy Saturday lunchtime session Zin made us feel like VIPs. We definitely recommend a visit to Verdi. Buon appetito!

We were very lucky to get in as I'd tried to book online, but were pleasantly surprised to fund out that there were in fact some places left for unbooked visitors. I had the pizza which I have to say was up there with the best pizza I've ever had. With a beer the price was around £38:00, which bearing in mind the venue and it being London was very good value for money.

I made reservations in February to attend a performance of Carmina Burana on October 29th. I also booked a lunch reservation at the same time, and I am so glad I did. The stress of traveling melted away thanks to the efficient service at Verdi. Our main waiter, Zin, was charming and attentive, making us feel at ease in the midst of a busy environment. The food and wine were delicious, serving as a fantastic prelude to an excellent concert. I want to extend my thanks to everyone, especially Zin, for making our experience truly memorable.

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
