"everything from service, eating, personal, decor to the entire ambiente achieved over 5 stars! no words are enough to describe the love and appreciation that we feel for this place to make our high-time dinner so special. each of the guests has not stopped riding about it! from the question, listen to the lady who helped us through the arrangement of our entire event was super helpful. they made this life so easy, especially with our endless asking and so humble to many changes from our side. Each and every staff including the manager in the restaurant are super professional and very friendly. each dish was executed with delicious aromen so that the dish looks even better than michelin stars the wine was popular and the cheesecake should die! I recommend this place for everyone and I know my friends, family and I will be back soon!"

"The restaurant is in a hotel and did not look like the photos. It was nonetheless quite nice (we went to the bar area as the traditional restaurant looked very much like a typical hotel restaurant). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the food was good (burgers pasta). It was a little on the pricey side but not too bad and really nice quality. The wines were very expensive with the house bottles being at ÂŁ37.50. The house white was particularly nice though. We shared a large tasty cheese cake. I'm not sure I would go there again because I have travelled a lot and try and avoid hotels but it is a good place."

"Who knew there was an outdoor ski lodge just behind the British Museum?? The Montague had done a fantastic job of recreating a covered bar and informal dining area in their patio area and it was great fun! The menu set up was different to what was described on TT there was no set price anything which made it more expensive than expected but also more flexible as two of our group ended up not drinking. The two choices of fondue were delicious and the tasting platter looked amazing. Service was really friendlyalthough there were times when the bar was unattended so we had to wait for more drinks etc but that was minor as the staff had really got into the spirit and made it a really great experience. I'll definitely be returning next year"

"I visit here very often to meet my customers, and I must say that the service is not very good at all. You sit and have to wait for almost 15 minutes or try to get someone the attention to order a simple coffee or water on the table, it always seems to be a lot of staff, but they are not so proactive to serve customers as you would hope when you visit the hotel."

"I requested a spot at the counter bar since I was alone and heading to the theatre . No sooner was I seated than the bar man abruptly asked me what I wanted to drink no “welcome, how are you tonight” . He seemed a bit miffed when I asked to see the cocktail list, as though I should know instantly what I wanted. And, although a prix-fixe, pre-theatre menu is advertised online, only the regular a la carte menu was handed to me. So I had to ask for that, as well! As it turned out, I ordered an expensive a la carte main dish, since it appealed to me. During my meal, no one ever topped up my sparkling water the bottle stood in plain sight and the barman/waiter watched me refill my glass. And, when I’d finished my cocktail, no one asked if I’d like a glass of wine although I sat there looking at the page of wines by the glass . By then, although I did want wine, I was too fed up with the rudeness to order one. It was only after I asked for my bill that a waiter asked if I’d like dessert or coffee! Obviously, I didn’t. But I just smiled politely and said I had to go. No one thanked me for coming or wished me a pleasant evening. Yes, the place is packed being right by the Ritz Hotel is very beneficial . And the ambiance is suave and clubby. But the waitstaff is basically disaffected although they do act unctuously polite to regulars . I’ve actually been coming to Le Caprice for many years, but usually sit with friends at a table. Hmm— what a difference!"

"So So disapointed. Only booked a few weeks ago and chose this on the basis of what cocktails were available for a bottomless brunch. Got there and they had changed the choices..to ones we did not like. The said it would have been on an email but the email I received the day before had none of this info. If it had, we would have cancelled as can have prosecco brunch locally!. Finally the manager agreed for us to have another choice but that was after were were going to walk. Service was always polite but so so slow. Had to call someone over more times than not and it wasnt even busy. The food was lovely I have to say but the other MASSIVE complaint was there was no live DJ as advertised, No vibe just piped music..why was it advertised as a kitchen disco brunch. Very very disappointed and DO NOT recommend."

"We prebooked a bottomless brunch special, but the physical menus differ from the online one. We asked our waiter to explicitly (and repeatedly) confirm what we could order as part of the deal only to find our bill ÂŁ80 more than what we thought it would be. It turned out the items were not part of the special, and it was our fault somehow and the manager wouldn't speak with the waiter to confirm what they had told us despite us asking them to do it twice. Food was fine but it was such a negative end that we cancelled plans to return with a larger group. They've lost out."

"Tonight we served by Osman from Bristol Cribbs Causeway who gave us exceptional services, his courtesy, incredibly friendly, attentive, recommendations, and nothing is too much trouble for him He took our drinks order and asked if we’re dining out for a special occasion we told him it’s our Ange’s 70s birthday, Osman wishes Ange a happy birthday and immediately offered a free birthday drink for Ange which make her so happy and over the moon, after that he took our foods order I always ordered Xinxim, however Osman explained to me your restaurant stop doing it because allergies issue so he recommended another dish for me which was so delicious, he’s definitely having a thorough knowledge of the food in your restaurant As Osman walked pass our table he noticed we’re having a trouble to take a group picture so he offered to take few pictures for us, thank you Osman for your attentiveness to our table What a lovely night to celebrate Ange’s 70 birthday, delicious food, exceptional services from Osman and atmosphere, definitely go back We haven’t received such an exceptional services for a long long time, we are so pleased Osman served us and he is a credit to Las Iquanas"
"really great mood in the bar area, efficient service to our drinks and many tables to accommodate us, good choice on the menu my only suggestion would perhaps be another meat selection instead of 2 steak selections, eating was very simple but clean and tidy plating. my only small critique is on the dessert wine list that they had a harbour but no cheese selection, but this is more a personal preference, as I have no massive sweet tooth. well done and we will return soon"

"The waitress brought he wrong order. We told her twice but she was confused. Seized the plates on our table and left. We ordered a Breakfast that included juice. Never came. Coffee was included in the meal we ordered but she charged us for coffee and then said the machine was broken and did not refund us. A 50 pound breakfast Renee up costing 95 pounds. So I paid 132 dollars for a breakfast I did not order. Also we got charged for for cafes cause the waitress took my husband drink when it was still half full. This is a nice place to eat but I would never return. I should have just told the manager but I didn’t want to be a Karen. But ordering breakfast is not that complicated."

"The first course arrived promptly, but it was a significant disappointment. We ordered half a duck and pancakes, expecting a reasonable portion, but what we received was the tiniest serving imaginable. It bore no resemblance to the half duck we usually enjoy at other restaurants. What we had was dry, bland, and not worth the £30 price tag. To make matters worse, our main courses were served before they had cleared away the plates from our first course, leaving us with no space on the table for the entrees. We had to literally request that they clean the table so we could fit the main dishes. The restaurant was quite empty, and it felt like they wanted us to leave as quickly as possible so they could close up. When we voiced our concerns about the food and service, the staff laughed at us, which was incredibly unprofessional. It's no wonder the restaurant was so empty. Located in the Dorsett Hotel in a busy area of London, none of the six of us plan to return. Although we had considered staying at the hotel on our next trip due to its affordability, this experience has ensured that we will not be returning, as it poorly reflects on the hotel’s overall reputation."

"We waited an hour for our food to come. When it came it was cold. I sent mine back which then took a further 30 minutes to come out with a fresh one. My partner said his full English was not good quality and was also cold. There is no allergen information on the menu next to the dishes. Was very busy but seemed very understaffed and as though they were not prepared for a busy service. It was very clean and the manager was good. The bill was altered. Personally I wouldn’t go back for breakfast. We wanted to try something new but were disappointed."

"Sunday lunch was underwhelming the veggie stack resembled a sad vegetarian burger patty with overcooked vegetables and the chocolate fondant was more like a dry sponge. Wouldn 't be surprised if it was all defrosted in the microwave. Service was a well intentioned but calamitous performance by uninterested and under trained staff. The ambience was raucous. It was, however, cheap; you get what you pay for, I guess. Would not return nor recommend."

"We ate a late lunch here as a family of 4 last weekend. We were in a bit of a rush as we had to catch a train, and the food did arrive very quickly. I think to pay £9.95 for a halloumi wrap with salad is a bit on the pricey side and would’ve expected a few fries to be included at that price. The souvlaki salad and grilled chicken mayo sandwich were both really over-seasoned unfortunately. On a positive note, the staff are very polite and helpful."

"Took going to the front desk twice to get the tv fixed in the room. Initially they sent in housekeeping to try to fix it, then a gentleman around the front desk came in and reset the channels. Waited roughly 4-5 hours. Beds are a little hard, but I am used to memory foam, so may be good for people used to a conventional mattress. Shower is amazingly hot and perfect with a shower head that actually has pressure. Breakfast is great, lots of choices, and very good orange juice. Overall, perfect location for us and easy to get to from London via coach. Rooms: Little small, but efficient for needs. Walkability: Easy to get to from coach, restaurant/pub nearby, and convenient mart in walking distance. Food drinks: Room service available, breakfast with juices and coffee."

"EVOO is Extra Virgin Olive Oil . Why did i say this at the start, we kept staring at menu wondering what it was , as most dishes would have it . We went there on one of the bank holidays. There was a wait time about 5 mins. We were served by a friendly staff. Learned kids get juice and ice cream as part of the meal deal. We opted for panosso. I was expecting a small sandwich but what we got was a large sourdough bread sandwich. It was quite a portion and we had to take leftover home (they don't mind) . Overall for 2 person and 1 small kid the cost was ÂŁ19 to give you a cost perspective . There is definitely lack in the the type of filling used (chicken) but there are plenty of other places to go. When it comes to authentic Italian food with quality ingredients which can be quite good for your body, this is a good place. We will be back for a pizza (son ordered it) it was delicious"

"Its two years since I last visited here for breakfast. It remains a cracking good place to eat. There is a full and varied breakfast menu. The coffee is good, better than one from the standard chains. Service is good, speedy and staff are very pleasant. Pleasant atmosphere. Staff are a bit distant, but good at what they do. Will call in again when I'm in Braintree next year"

"Upon entering the restaurant, we were impressed with the layout and style. Once seated in a cosy booth, we glanced through the menu, impressed with the vast selection of dishes and drinks. The drinks were mostly brilliant, the only exception being the limoncello being served in a shot glass, meaning we needed to order lemonade as it was strong. This noteably did not detract from the experience. The starters were fantastic; great flavours, serving size and selection. Our mains offered a generous portion but not too heavy, also very tasty. Desserts again were delicious and a perfect portion size. Currently rated number 1 on Trip Advisor and I can see why. Will definitely visit again and can highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely meal Bella Italia!"

"It was all a bit rubbish really.!Very disappointing. A costly and unpleasant experience. We ordered a delivery through the McDonalds app. Part of he order was wrong; a burger who was supposed to have no mustard, onions or gherkins on it had all. Three. You can’t just scrape it off and eat it because it leaves a residue that makes it taste unpleasant to those who don’t like these things that burger was inedible and we couldn’t swap because both burgers were the same. The hot and cold drinks were packed side by side in the same bag compromising the temperature of both drinks. All the food was stone cold and judging by the speed at which the delivery arrived and the temperature of the food; I would guess it was probably prepared in advance of orders rather than freshly to order. Customer services were unhelpful and want to pass responsibility for their failing on to Uber. They said if we wanted a refund we would have to take it up with Uber since they were the delivery service and they only refund click and collect at Customer services. However you can’t blame the Uber driver who arrived before the appointed time for mistakes on the order and for food which should have arrived hot given the time frame and the insulated carton he used to bring it. Given the huge mark- up and profit on takeaway food; and the size of McDonald’s as a company; I expected better : from the food, from the restaurant and from customer services ."

"Waited to be seated while 2 waitresses chatted while a queue was forming behind us Sat down at a table where there had obviously been a child as there were fries on the floor that were not cleaned up The waitress took our order and came back 5 minutes later as she couldn’t remember 2 of our drinks Waited 10 minutes for the drinks and 20 minutes for food The pasta had very little flavour but the garlic bread was nice,no bruschetta so maybe tell people that when you sit them down as 3 of our party then had no starters The drinks are the Maoist expensive on the coliseum and they are the only cashless restaurant there and encourage you to use the QR code in the table to pay to save them time, they don’t worry about getting a tip as again the only restaurant on the coliseum to add a service charge Definitely not worth the charge as service cleanliness and food nothing special"
