"Worst indian takeaway ive ever had, more flavour in a packet of ready salted crisps chicken tasted like it had been stored under the chefs armpit for 3 days, dry chewy and rank although youd probably get more salt from an armpit than any of the food we got. Bland. Peshwari nan, equally terrible Irn bru was good but warm, probably the only thing that kept the chips warm. Should of had a micro meal instead Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"Having recently returned from Ios where we loved the local cuisine, we decided to try The Plough, Nettleham. We'd been told by a resident that it was a fab place to eat and we weren't disappointed! The actual pub is a beautiful, traditional olde worlde type with beams and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, taking time to explain the menu to us. We had the meze and thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes. The food arrived promptly and the flavours were amazing. The lady who served us(I apologise for not remembering her name) was attentive throughout, removing empty glasses, dishes etc, ensuring that we were OK for drinks. We even decided to try desserts(something we rarely do) . We weren't disappointed. My favourite was a triangle shaped filo pastry (x 2) with custard inside accompanied with a scoop of delicious, excellent quality ice cream. It was heaven on a plate. This was our 1st visit but will most certainly NOT be our last! Try it, you won't be disappointed!!"

"Good for an early tea, not for a weekend night out, more of a diner feel. quick stop for a casual bite. A friend and I took our elderly parents for a Christmas evening. Compliments to their chef food was good. Staff nice. Just a shame on a Saturday night in December it closes promptly at 10pm music is turned off and they mop the floors around you. We took the hint and moved out to front the porch to wait on our lift which was on the way, we were then ushered onto the street by the owner, on what was a bitterly cold and windy night, fortunately not pouring. We left disappointed. I wouldn't return and it was a sad end to a lovely night it's a shame that we had already left the 20% tip. To summarise it's more suited to the large footy team crowd that popped in for a quick pre bite and shots before hitting the town not for a night out at a restaurant if you want to catch up."

"This was our first experience eating in a few weeks ago and I couldn’t feel more uncomfortable when we entered. A very rude and disrespectful woman, short blondish hair), she looked like the owner. She looked at me up and down and failed to say hello- a look of why we were there. When I told her I had a reservation- she was stunned and was very dismissive and after I said we made a reservation she was rather perplexed. We were sat to the table and given one menu to start with. they had a large group dining too- so took up all the menus). There was a nice gentleman who I believe took our booking who was friendly- that’s your lot! Upon ordering, I had forgotten to order a small portion of egg fried rice and when I asked to place an order, the waitress who took our order snapped and said it will take a “long time”. It was for my 3 year old- rice is a staple dish, which does not involve extensive cooking also pre cooked) I found this pretty unreasonable, how could you deny a child food- they didn’t want us there. The food in general was good- however the staff and ambience was abysmal. As an owner, you should be welcoming and friendly- the woman who greeted us- was far from this. She did not want our business as she was seen to pander to the large group of customers she had in the restaurant. A real shame, given this could have been our new local. Note the owner: don’t dismiss people who are coming to your restaurant, we are the people who keep your restaurant going. I would really score this no stars for service or ambience. "Lovely restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant was very busy with quite a few children around but we were shown to a table and were not disturbed. We both had a main course. Husband had the Bourbon burger and I had the honey chicken burger from the specials menu. Both meals were excellent. Would recommend and the restaurant was busy so is popular."

"Our family of six adults visited Blue Ginger in Middlewich last night, 8th October, and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. First impressions...clean and well lit with modern furniture, tables set beautifully. Staff were friendly and attentive, drinks soon came and orders taken. The menu was extensive, mainly the usual dishes found in Indian restaurants, which suited us. This is not a gourmet restaurant with exotic and unusual dishes, it is a restaurant that produces really good quality everyday dishes. Every dish was well presented and well cooked. The Peshwari naan bread was easily the best I've ever eaten in any restaurant fresh, soft, warm, just the right amount of sweetness and taste of coconut. The pilau rice smelt fragrant and tasted just right, each grain of rice separate. Even basic dishes like my Lamb Rogan Josh contained good quality chunks of lean lamb (not disguised chicken, as in some places), and the tomatoes and onions were all freshly sliced and cooked, and clearly not out of some frozen pack. This restaurant pays attention to detail and uses fresh ingredients. It offers excellent value for money and is highly recommended."

"Searched for best Iandian restaurants in the area, whilst visitying for work adn loved the look of the menu, with some favourites and the opportunity to try something new. It was relatively quiet for a mid week evening but is probably fairly representative. Plenty of staff around to look after you. Draught Everest beer was great, a change from Cobra and the food didnt disappoint. The carrot chutney with the poppadoms was a first and really well thought out. The bhajo statrters were clearly fresh and nice and crsipy without being greasy. Keema naan was amazingly rich and the madras was just the right strength. Its tricky to get the balance at this strength level, and it was perfect. I will definitely be back. Great food, well priced, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff"

"Last weekend was the first time we've used this place and chose it based on other reviews. All our tastes vary so I'll be as objective as possible. My wife doesn't like spicy food so opted for vegetable spring rolls followed by stir fry satay mixed seafood egg fried rice both of which she enjoyed very much. I went for spiced belly pork to start which was good and followed that with mixed seafood special with coconut rice and found it disappointing. It was not spicy at all and the sauce it was in far too watery."

"You will find the best breakfast in London served in Natural Kitchen Marylebone's cafe. The lunch is great there too and really affordable for this area. On the groundfloor you can find all sort on organic or Artisan products. The butchers are a bunch of great guys really knowledgable and I only buy my meat there now it's better quality, fresher and cheaper than Ginger pig and competing with waitrose prices too. The bread they sale is the best loaf you can buy around as well but you have to come in the morning as it go quickly. Finally the take away salad counter is the little gem of that place. Dozens of beautiful salads, choice of poached salmon, grilled chicken or homemade quiches to...read more"

"The Raj is great for Christmas meals as there is something for everyone. They offer tasty Vegan options and the owner gives me confidence that they understand Veganism. I had a Vegan Channa Daal Chappati for a starter and a Vegan Shobzi Karai with boiled rice and Khasta Roti. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a busy welcoming atmosphere. A great experience! L Service: Dine in"

"Have ordered a few takeaways from here and it’s always been really nice. I’ve just had a masaman curry and it was super tasty and full of flavour only thing I have to say was that I ordered beef but I got chicken instead but it was still nice and there was just one small cube of potato in the dish. My partner had the Thai crispy duck and it was good as well. The food was ready super quick but overall the food is really lovely."

"I was something of a regular here in the past but this was our first visit under the new management. Still very good value, great food and now they provide you with decent napkins nice little touch I thought. New menu so some interesting things to try. Service was a bit on the slow side on the Tuesday we visited and this was perhaps because they were busier than they expected. Nice problem for them to have but a bit of a niggle for us. One constructive comment the serving staff need to get a uniform even if it's just to distinguish them from the customers."

"Table of 5 on a Saturday evening. The resteraunt was surprisingly busy. Food took a long time to come to the table almost 50 mins however was delicious and of a good size and standard. Only criticism would be the small amount of meat in the currys. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"

"kwei lin is exactly what they would expect from a Chinese restaurant. a large selection of dressed, good vegan and vegetarian options and delicious food. the only reason we had four stars was because it is exactly what they expect. the interiors could do with a bit of fidget up and the menus could also replace. the personal was really friendly and knowledgeable, they were also very busy when we arrived there, which is always a good sign! oh, and it is also the only place where I had salt and pepper bags that were saucy. but they were delicious!"

"We always go in and order and it is always quick service, no more than 15 minutes for starters, mains and sides for 2 people. Best Chinese in the Dingwall, Conon Bridge Muir of Ord area. Having used it regularly our go to favourites are the garlic chilli chicken balls and the crispy shredded beef. As yet we have always taken away not sat in so can't comment on the atmosphere. Parking: In the evening, to pick up you can drive down the high street where there is space to stop just after it."

"The staff at this restaurant are friendly and attentive. The location offers views of the Eats Lancs Rd (A580). However, the food may not meet your expectations compared to your local takeaway. The chicken skewers had a greasy and wet texture, resembling almost raw meat. The chicken in curry sauce was also disappointing, as it did not match the quality of other local takeaways. Overall, my taste buds became bored early on in the meal. While the staff were lovely and attentive, I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant. It was okay, clean, and the chips were decent."
