"Undoubtedly the best dining experience of the year! We called ahead to book a table and were greeted with incredible and inviting phone service. The decor was stunning, instantly transporting us to India with peaceful music, cozy furnishings, and beautiful lighting. Suv and Mash were exceptional hosts, ensuring our visit was extraordinary. They treated us like royalty and made sure everything was perfect. The chefs deserve massive compliments, as the food was divine and above gourmet standards. I ordered a chicken tikka madras with extra garlic, keema rice, and keema naans, while my partner had a chicken tikka kasmeri with all the trimmings - both dishes were emptied and left us satisfied. The only minor downside was the high price of the diet cokes. Overall, it was an amazing night with delicious food, warm and friendly hosts, and a new favorite restaurant discovered. We will definitely be returning. - Aaron and Lisa, fans of The House of Penguin."

"My wife and two of our friends visited this establishment on Saturday 4th of May. My experience at this restaurant was both good and bad however the bad overweighted the good. We had only sat down and in less than a minute a young man asked us if we were ready to order drinks (we hadn’t even looked at the menu) the same man asked us a total of 3 times within 5/10 minutes if we were ready to order, which made us feel rushed. Our starters arrived fast and we enjoyed them. We had then got warm plates for our main course, however we sat with the plates and no food for about 5 minutes which didn’t make sense as our plates were then cold and noticed that this was a common occurrence within the restaurant as a few other tables seemed to have been sitting with empty plates. The food itself was flavourful and was high quality. The views of the water are beautiful. The atmosphere was lively and staff were friendly however some seemed rushed as the girl who served us our food physically ran back down the restaurant this along with being rushed to order was not polite. Overall our food and drinks were delicious and our interactions with most of the staff was pleasant."

"Went for my moms birthday, took a while to be seated, glasses were absolutely filthy, didn’t realise until our glasses for our water were brought out, then I looked at my glass that my drink was in and that was dirty too. The food was nice and we still had a good time our server was great and really helpful"

"I just wish we had checked the reviews which i normally do! before paying a silly amount of money for what was perhaps one of the worst takeaways I have ever had. The only reason it is getting 2 stars is because it filled a hole, but it certainly did not take you back to Thailand like other takeways do with their fresh bold flavours. This stuff was clearly microwaved rubbish, the website is misleading as it claims to be freshly cooked traditional Thai, but none of the 'flavours ' i have just eaten were anything close to Thai : money wasted : I like others wont be back I do wish them the best of luck though, as it does seem as though once upon a time this place was decent.."

"We went here for an anniversary because my partner recommended it, she's been here before. We got the Asiana banquet for two. I was a little bit hesitant because a) I'm not a big fan of Chinese food and b) I thought we might have been paying too much. Boy was I wrong. The food was plentiful, I'm a big guy and I was in a food coma by the end of it but satisfyingly so. Right from the start the food was rich, delicious and the variety was surprising. Duck, beef, chicken, prawns... All cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the deep fried crispy chicken with salt and pepper chips. MVP was the curry sauce, absolutely superb. Service was excellent. Fast and the server was actually hilarious. Didn't overstay his welcome or make it awkward and kept the food coming pretty efficiently. 5/5 for service. Really nice folk. My only gripe and this is a small one is that the atmosphere could do with some better lighting. Maybe some table candles or lights. That's just me though. Overall a fantastic experience and we'll be back for sure."

"Last time we had food at Neptune and Prawn two years ago my husband was served completely raw chicken and got food poisoning so naturally it put us both off revisiting, however we decided to take our three daughters for a meal tonight hoping for a better experience and we were all very disappointed! We will not be back! Food order was wrong, one of my children got her food after other two finished, adults salt and chilli goujon meal £17 extra for side! was just a kids meal with an extra goujon, exactly the same chicken!! It was served with iceberg lettuce strands which had seen better days, looked disgraceful! I ordered the prawn dish at £21 and was served a plate of greasy prawn crackers with 7 very small prawns!! Kids meals were terrible mcds kids meals are bigger! and all the food that was correct! was served within 5mins of ordering, so nothing fresh..thrown out! Very poor restaurant, fast food restaurant at best!"

"The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I was told the restaurant has recently changed management so you can expect a lot more vegan and vegetarian dishes on the horizon. The food I did have was not on the printed menu but it was however recommended to me by the very helpful staff. From what I can gather there is a full range of mock meats including duck, roast pork, chicken and beef. I opted for the mock chicken and was certainly not disappointed with my choice. The food was full of flavour, well presented and great value for money. I am just visiting Stirling for one night however if I do return I will make a b-line for The Regent it was well worth the visit"

"Visited here with my daughter and grandparents two weeks ago and wanted to say how impressed we all were. The quality of the meals was of very high standards all round and presented excellently too. Home made desserts were amazing also and I highly recommend the mixed nut frangipane! Everything is very reasonably priced, the service was on point also. It's a place where you can dress smart casual or wear formal and you will not feel out of place. If anyone has a special occasion coming up it's somewhere I'd definitely say is worth bearing in mind, you will not be disappointed. From start to finish, even the coffees to conclude, it all made for a great evening out and left us all with good impressions. Can't wait to return. Thank you Quayside Plaza."

"an amazing hidden place in the bustling China city! the shop has two separate sections for taking and eating. the es tab is in the upper floor and the booking is highly recommended, especially for a busy weekend. we ran quite late (30min, but the staff was very friendly and still our table. the menu was simply a total of 10 dishes. we ordered 3 to start with. it was really much for two people, but we could, fortunately, take another dish. the surprise was really the bun that comes with the boar bell, it worked so well with meat and sauce. we ordered an extra and recommend adding at the beginning to avoid additional waiting time. the dessert and the drinks were amazing! the price was on the easy expensive side to share 3 meals, 1 drink per and 1 dessert per person, it came as £36 per person."

"I enjoy Chinese food, especially noodles, but this was the first time that I experienced such stinky and terrible tasting noodles that I had to take them off my plate. The lamb and vegetable dishes were absolutely delicious, but I can still taste and smell the unpleasant noodles. I think it was possibly just a mistake, but it definitely affected my overall experience."

"I ordered a variety of cooked dishes which included chicken skewers, ribs, special fried rice, and salmon dinner. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken skewers were barely edible and the salmon dinner was terrible. The salmon tasted fishy and did not seem fresh. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The beef ribs were salty, hard, and appeared to have been reheated. Even the chicken skewers seemed to have been microwaved. The special fried rice lacked typical ingredients such as egg and onion, and was simply white rice with soy sauce and tough pieces of beef, chicken, and a couple of shrimp. Additionally, the teriyaki sauce on the salmon had a strange, jelly-like consistency. Overall, I would rate this meal zero stars as the food was inedible and simply awful."

"Average bar service, unfortunately, my rare beef salad was so overpowered by the pickled cabbage, I couldn't taste the salsa verde, even the chilli, I wouldn't have to write this review, but when I explained this to the lady serving us, she said it's a personal preference that's that. I would think on a customer service level she would at least say thanks for your feedback and I will let the chef know. would have been polite and I was listened to, for the critique of my dining experience. I don't think the staff care to much about what comes out on service and are more interested in chatting to the boys at the bar, my table was from around 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday 4th Feb 23, I don't think I will be returning. The runner buss boy was very good and he listened more than the girl staff chatting at the bar."

"We visited last night as a couple. We haven’t been here for a while so thought we’d give a whirl again. It was always our favourite Indian but my word, it’s just got BETTER! I asked the lovely owner to recommend a chicken curry dish for me and he suggested Shatkora (asking me first if I liked a tangy flavour). I asked for it to be made a little more spicy and it was absolutely perfect. My partner had the Methi (lamb) and that was gorgeous also. I normally hate lamb in curry as I’ve always found it tough and mutton like but not the lamb here…it was tender and juicy and accompanied the dish perfectly. We also had the popadom tray, some onion bhaji and a mushroom bhaji side dish plus a garlic rice. All were amazing. Great portion sizes (we had enough to take home which they were happy to box up for us). All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient. All in all this was an excellent meal and a lovely buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant also. So happy this family restaurant is doing so well. We won’t leave it so long next time!"

"I went to blue ginger on my birthday and it was by far one of the best decisions I made, For starters I ordered : Dhai Puri The Dhai puri is so soft that it will melt inside your mouth Paneer Chilli Paneer chilli was good, I'd say it was a bit sweet but I usually prefer it to be a bit more chilli but I'd still give that 4/5 Sheekh Kebab Again really soft again value for money? maybe but its worth trying For Main course I ordered : Dal Makhni the quantity was really good, it was more than enough for a family of 4. Paneer Burji another 5/5 dish overall the quantity served in main course is fairly reasonable compared to any other restaurant. Do visit Blue Ginger to have a great experience."

"Had extremely high hopes of this place after seeing its great reviews online. Arrived to the restaurant to collect the order no issues. When we returned to our accommodation and tucked into the meal it was beyond disappointing. Prawn bhuna was bland which my partner didn’t eat, naan bread was like a supermarket whack in the oven job.. mint sauce was pretty much water, chips soggy, Popadoms stale. Called into the restaurant to advise of our dissatisfaction and get a replacement order, was told that as they’ve had no other complaints tonight they can’t help us. This is the first negative restaurant review I’ve left and I don’t like doing this as I know it can be damaging for small business. However we were left in the lurch when we raised an issue."

"Cosy, welcoming pub with good food at a good price. Very family friendly with events for children running through the year. A lovely big garden for the kids to run riot in safety, and cosy fires to snuggles around in the winter. Plus there is always a great variety of drinks too."

"Our bums did not even touch the seats and we were asked what we wanted to drink. A minute later im still in the process of removing my jacket and the staff came back to ask what i wanted to eat!! I didnt even have a chance to look and see what colour the menu was never mind decide what i wanted to eat. After we told the staff that wed like a few more minutes... 5 minutes passed and we were asked another 5 times what we'd like to eat. The whole ordeal seemed like they wanted us in and out like a double cheese burger from mc donalds. The food came super fast like sonic chasing hoops. NOT FRESH, the freshest thing in that restaurant was the roker sea breeze. Avoid if you like food x"

"Myself and a few colleagues had a Christmas meal today, and I looked forward to seeing the vegetarian options available. It can be difficult to find good options around Christmas time that feel festive, so was pleased to see that there were a few good options available. I spotted the 'cauliflower steak ' which, for the uninitiated, is a slice of cauliflower. It was served with green beans and a sauce for the sum of a little over £14. That 's £14 for a slice of cauliflower. Out of interest I flicked through the menu to see how much was being charged for a 'real ' steak, and was surprised to see that it would be cheaper for me to eat a beef steak £13 something) than a slice of cauliflower. How you manage to justify this pricing is astonishing, or even arrive at the £14 figure anyway. You can currently buy a whole cauliflower in Tesco for 29p."

"I couldn 't really fault the restaurant, the food was excellent, garlic mushrooms to start, Sea Bass main with a side of garlic bread (which I couldn 't finish). Busy, warm (a bit too warm), cosy, a little loud but accommodating and pleasant. I can 't rate them higher, neither can I mark them down for the entitled young twits who came in, seated themselves and proceeded to have inappropriate, loud, conversations about bodily functions and their, shall we say 'unusual ' bedroom activities. Drunk? Maybe, had it not been for them I 'd have stayed for dessert and a coffee but I couldn 't tolerate it any longer. I 'm far from prudish but listening to that was beyond what I 'd consider comfortable. There 's a time and place for that, chaps and that wasn 't it. All in all I would recommend Fausto 's and would return again, hopefully sans the riffraff."

"We stopped by this restaurant on the Saturday before Valentine's Day. Originally planned as a romantic meal, we ran into some friends in town and decided to all dine together here. We didn't make a reservation and were fortunate to secure a table as it was quite crowded. I ordered the lamb burger, while my friends ordered fish and chips and a burger with chips. My wife, who has dietary restrictions for gluten and lactose, enjoyed the bacon burger and chips. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning as regular customers."
