"Yesterday we decided to give the New Gulistan a try and placed an order at for a set meal for patiently waited until and then my husband called to cancel the delivery only to be told it had already left and was on its way. At after it had been cancelled,the delivery guy knocked at the door with the food, which had to be freezing cold after being driven all around for more than half an hour.We live meters away from the restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement, we heard good things and now well never get to try it."

"a great restaurant! the best of it must fill the section 4 of the curries can be easy to fill 7 hungry! there is a great selection of things that you can do, of which every tastier is the next. the starter and the complementary poppadome were tasty, but a bit lacked in the amount (especially the disc ktikka). our waiter was very nice and was happy to accommodate us with everything we believed, but not on the menu! very nice ambiente and comfortable sitting. another great thing about this Indian restaurant is that it is authentic, and so desi that it reminds me of the home in bharat (india). it is rare to find these kinds of restaurants in Scotland! they would highly recommend if they were looking for authentic Indian taste!"

"As always we found the food at this restaurant to be both excellent and extremely good value. We started with a Chicken Chat and Prawn Puri, both generous portions in well flavoured sauces. Mains included a deliciously tangy Hari-Ali chicken (a new one for me but one I'm sure I'll have again); mild, but not over-sweet Lamb Passanda and sides of Motar Panir and Garlic Naan. This may not sound like a large meal but between two of us we only just about managed to finish it. All the dishes were rich,but distinctively spiced and flavoured."

"Thank you Melanie Phillips for your review of this establishment. My family are booking purely on the back of this review. It's about time restaurants took a stand on allowing dogs in. It is unhygienic and some people even lift them up to the table gross habit. There should only be officially registered guide dogs allowed in restaurants. I understand during the day some cafes bending the rules but surely dogs can be left a short time while you eat a lovely meal without dog hair. "The decor and vibe of this place was the most appealing. The food an anti climax (desserts by far were the best) Starter it was supposed to be a king prawn cocktail, they said they were out of king prawns but will instead give me a huge portion of little prawns. The portion was average and starter basic therefore overpriced for what I was given. Mains crab linguine. If you like garlic then this dish is for you. The crab was flaked but barely visible and I could hardly taste it especially with the overpowering garlic. Friends had pork belly rib which was extremely tasty, full of flavour and the meat was tender Dessert the fried salted caramel ice cream special was amazing. "This was our second visit to the restaurant and it will definitely not be our last. The atmosphere was great and we had lots of fun celebrating my wife's Birthday. After the meal, everyone sang Happy Birthday, and then a confetti bomb went off. The kids were given silly string to spray all over, especially my wife and me. Everyone came out laughing and talking about the experience. The food was authentic and well priced. Overall, I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10."

"Our experience at Papa's Wok was very positive. We appreciated the variety of meat and vegetarian options available. The veg spring rolls we ordered were tasty and we received an extra one, which was a nice surprise. The chicken dish we tried was delicious, with the chicken tooan standing out for its flavor compared to the dragon chicken. The gobi manchurian and stirring vegetables were both well-seasoned and enjoyable. We also tried the sweet and chili and garlic rice, both of which came in a box. The chili and garlic rice was tasty but not as spicy as expected. However, the plant noodles were disappointing as they lacked flavor and were quite bland. The portion sizes of the big box were generous and we were impressed by the amount of food. Overall, we had a great dining experience at Papa's Wok and would definitely order from them again."

"What an outstanding experience! I took my mum to Las Iguanas for the Bubbly Brunch to celebrate her 60th Birthday. From the moment we stepped through the door, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The menu was fully explained, including recommendations, new additions etc, as were the drinks. We opted for the bubbly brunch which included a starter, main 4 drinks each for £31.95 fantastic value. Both food and drinks were delicious (highly recommend the chicken enchiladas and the Pink Bubbles). The cherry on the cake was by far the service. Ryan was amazing! We'd had a disappointing experience the night before and Ryan alone more than made up for it. He was bubbly, warm and really made us feel special he's an absolute STAR! Cannot wait to come back!!!"

"Sunday lunch takeaway is outstanding absolutely gorgeous we both got turkey and the meat, vegetables, roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy all cooked to perfection and the portion size was spot on! We also ordered the dessert box and my eyes lite up with delight there’s strawberry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake all with cream and custard. Highly recommend this place for the food and the time slot and service was impeccable thank you."

"Many of the food and drinks were really good and delicious, especially the incredible drinks, which not only tasted great but also looked fantastic with their wonderful presentation. I highly recommend the patatas bravas and the other dishes I shared in my photos. However, I would strongly advise against ordering the paella. While it looked appealing, it was mushy, as if it had been microwaved, and stuck together in several spots. Additionally, it lacked flavor entirely. On the bright side, the paella was removed from the bill, so at least there was that positive aspect."

"This restaurant has a great American vibe with options like burgers, ribs, Miller or Corona beer, and more. As soon as we sat down and looked at the menu, we felt like we were in America. The food was absolutely authentic. We tried the honey chicken wings for €9.50, which had a lot of meat and were perfectly cooked. The portions are big, just like in America, so you may want to skip the appetizers. We also tried the Cajun onion burger for €13.80, which was perfect, and the baby back ribs for €19, which were delicious and easy to eat. The meal was topped off with a classic coleslaw salad and a Corona beer. Everything tasted just like in the US, but a bit pricier. This place is a taste of America right in Berlin at Potsdamer Platz."

"The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and serves delicious food. The platter for four was quite generous and could easily feed six people. Manisha provided excellent service. "I used to use this cafe all the time before I moved away and when I was back in Kent I was looking forward to visiting again. My family and I turned up and found a table outside. I went to go into the shop...to ask if they took card to be greeted by a waitress who abruptly told me yes. I then said to my family I was going to get a menu to be told by the waitress that it was table service and that we had sat at a dirty table and we that would have dirty menus too..! The people next to us said”that’s you told off”. We left as I don’t pay to have people be rude to me or my family. Utterly disgusted and disappointed."

"We just called in for a drink, you order at the counter and bring them to the table yourself, my Brother and his partner both had Latte's, i had a Mocha, when my brothers partner got to the table she told me which was mine, or which should have been mine, but they all looked the same, and all tasted the same, which was a shame as i was looking forward to the Mocha, plus the Latte's didn't taste like Latte's either. it was only looking at other reviews on here that i found out the staff are volunteers, they could do with a bit of training for the differant coffee's on offer. apart from that, the place is nice and clean, and the staff seem very friendly"

"We called in on a Sunday evening while visiting Shrewsbury overnight. We were greeted by very friendly, polite staff on entering the restaurant. The place was absolutely spotless and well lit. We ordered, poppadoms, starters and balti curries, all of the food was presented beautifully, ample portions and amazing flavours.
