"Nice restaurant and tasty food, but the atmosphere was a little dull. They’re a bit confused over their offers too website states BYOB Sundays and no corkage. Then we got there and they didn’t know anything about byob Sundays, then there was a £25 corkage, then £6.. then finally they honoured what was on their website. The manager was friendly though. The speakeasy bar downstairs Marks is really cool would be much more likely to recommend that than the restaurant."

"big Sunday lunch with the family in this lively and popular local pub. service was fun, relaxed and friendly, henry, our server gave its recommendations and they were spot on, loved the croquettes for a starter. the main roast were excellent, portions were generous and the meat was juicy and tasty. good price-performance ratio, a book value to guarantee a table."

"Went for a brunch meeting and the food was nice but the service wasn't great. Had to ask to order second round of drinks, then ask again when they hadn't appeared. Had to ask twice for the bill and despite lots of staff being around getting attention was quite hard. Good location and might go back for food but not when in a hurry."

"The restaurant has been closed for months. If I had to rate it, I wouldn't give it any stars as that would better reflect its current status. My partner, who was looking forward to dining at her favorite restaurant, was disappointed when we traveled a long distance only to find it closed on her birthday."

"I am a regular at Yautcha, and decided to introduce my friends to this place who was here on holiday. I would always recommend this restaurant to people however I was really disappointed by the service received here that day. Once we got there, the lady guided us to the bar where we enjoyed our drinks and was told we could stay there here to finish them. Once we were ready we were guided to our table however just seconds before we got there, someone took our table. We were told to stand on the side for over 5 minutes, which would not be an issue but it was such a tight space we felt so uncomfortable standing there whilst people were trying to get through. We finally got escorted to our table. We felt that given that situation, it would have been a great gesture that the waiter looking after us offered something on the house for the inconvenient, however this did not happen as we were rushed to give in our orders. We then requested if it was possible to at least have our drinks given to us on the house, and instead of the waiter kindly telling us he would look into this or that he couln't give us this, he had started interrogating us with questions like do you think that is a long enough time for us to give you a free drink which was just not appreciated especially when we had spent a good amount that night and are regular paying customers. We were eventually given then drinks for free, which we appreciated the kind gesture but it felt like we were being treated like charity. We then continued to order our starters and main which was absolutely delicious. When we got to our mains, and the food was served, we asked our waiter if he could bring us 3 sets of cutlery, he returned with two. We then said, sorry we needed 3, he then replied in a rude manner, could you have not told me that before, now I have to go back? By this point, we felt so un-welcomed here and wanted to leave. I wanted to leave this honest review as we felt so dissapointed from this service."

"I have visited this restaurant multiple times and each visit has been wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the cocktails are fantastic. I would definitely come back here again. Thank you for always providing fantastic service!"

"eating is good. the service was friendly and they were good to make a photo. on the website, however, they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50 we came to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50, I was not amused. the waitress then apparently had no warning about the deal and went to check. offer for 14.50 good, I notice that the deal was online in the choice anyway. we order, generally enjoy eating and get the bill. the deal was not taken into account. the waiter says we should have let the waitress know. that upset me when I'm pretty sure she asked him to. there was only approx. 5.75 and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I have already recommended this restaurant on another page, but this experience has upset me. they need to change their website and educate their personal."

"I visited Allium to pick up two pizzas to go, and the entire experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Although the restaurant was empty, I had to wait about 30 minutes only to be informed that they had no pizza boxes for takeout. Instead, I was offered the option to carry the pizzas on plates down the street. So, we opted to dine in. Honestly, I think frozen pizzas from Iceland would have been a better choice; they were awful. The crust was as hard as cardboard—probably frozen beforehand—with just some extra cheese thrown on top. This definitely doesn't reflect the quality of a top chef!"

"First we seen a mouse. There were five other people that saw the same mouse. Our dessert was apple crumb it came out on 8” pizza dough with maybe 10 pieces of apple no crumbs. We will never go back and will I will bad mouth your restaurant till the day I die. I wish I had taken a picture of the mouse that came right up to out table! Thanks for nothing Tom Russell Upstate New York"

"We decided to try this little restaurant for our wedding anniversary because of the good reviews and the limitation of where we could celebrate because of the covid restrictions. The restaurant is of a bistro style with small tables and a lovely ambience, The...Argentinian steaks were really lovely and so tender, cooked to perfection. The home cooked chips were delicious and went perfectly. As we were the first customers of the evening they were able to cook chips that were gluten free, if we had booked later in the evening they would not have been able to provide gluten free chips as they use the fryer for non gluten free food, which is a shame. So be warned if you are gluten free because there is nothing worse than going to a restaurant and have to eat salad or if you are very lucky a jacket potato as the gluten free alternative! The men on the next table thought the wine menu was very expensive, but there were plenty of other drinks on offer for those on a more affordable budget but this is not a budget"

"We had a wonderful lunch at B12! The staff greeted us warmly and the cozy interior made us feel comfortable. Some of us ordered the fish and chips, I had the chorizo hash, another had the pie, and someone else had the eggs Benedict. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals as they were delicious! Although there was a slight delay in receiving our food due to our party of 6, it was worth the wait. The only small issue was that the potatoes in my dish tasted a bit old, but everyone else had no complaints. Overall, we loved our experience and would definitely come back again."

"the wellington surpassed our expectations! we were there on Saturday afternoon and the terrace was full. the terrace is located on a very lively corner, so people watch and energy is great. many people sit outside and enjoy their drinks and a beautiful sunny afternoon. we sat at the top in their dining room and had a nice table at the window, with a view of the terrace from above. we ordered the grilled sea bass with chorizo, grilled paprika, baby potatoes and brokkoli as well as the chicken portabello mushroom pie. the cake was good, but not great. I'd try another pie next time, probably the steak pale ale pie. the grilled meeres bass was however incredible! so fresh, light and tasteful. one of the best dishes we had throughout our journey to Europe. it was washed with a nicholson pale ale and a pimm cocktail. a real British lunch!"

"The staff were friendly and welcoming. However they took the wrong order for one of us and we ended up having to pay the extra cost of this. They did not offer a discount for their mistake as we didn’t bother to wait for them to re-cook the originally ordered item as we had already waited a while for the food to be delivered to the table. The mistake was highlighted to the member of staff whom took the order who apologised. They seem to be quite overwhelmed with taking orders and rushing back to seat customers who were entering . The pancakes breakfast were dry and it was tasteless apart from being saved by the syrup. The price point was quite high for what was on offer. The coffee was nice, and the ambience was clean and staff were welcoming. Would not recommend."

"The restaurant offers a delightful selection for both breakfast and lunch, providing plenty of options to choose from. The food is excellent and the service is good. However, there was one complaint regarding the presence of dogs, which upset my friend when one came over to our partition. Overall, a great experience despite that minor issue!"

"I was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. The food was plentiful (they offered refills of the sandwiches), fresh and delicious. I had the classic afternoon tea which is what you would expect with finger sandwiches, mini quiche, salmon bun, 2 scones (fruit and plain) as well as 5 mini desserts. My husband tried the gentleman's tea and this was outstanding. There was a plate of fish and chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. There was another plate with 3 other good sized portioned sandwiches. He had an olive scone with blue cheese butter, delish! Then a mini quiche and lemon macaron. We both had a black tea which was very good as well. The view of the Thames was nice. The only downside to the experience was I asked for a different table and she said it was already reserved. However, for the entire time we were there no one sat at that table. So that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, I highly recommend."

"Visited Bill’s in Chichester for the first time for a goodbye brunch with my daughter. All the staff made us feel welcome from arrival. Service was prompt, friendly and polite. However there was a mix up with our order and my daughter ended up with a vegetarian rather than vegan breakfast. The way this was handled was superb. As soon as they were aware of the muddle the ‘offending’ breakfast (that looked really good) was scooped away. A new vegan breakfast came quickly. The FOH manager also offered to take mine away so we could eat together. He was utterly charming as were the rest of the team. The breakfast was also taken off the bill. A great experience and I’d happily recommend."

"Myself and my friends come to The Vineyard at least once a month for a girlie catch up. We love it here the food is lovely and the staff are attentive we have such a great time when we come! I can’t believe the extent people go to make bad accusations about a competitor and I can honestly say Seyfi and his family are brilliant restaurant owners and always make us feel welcome. Lobsters are always the best here and Seyfi will personally go out of his way to go and get you a fresh lobster that day for your visit that evening! What other restaurant would do that!"

"what an adorable discovery this restaurant proved to be! we arrived a little early for our booking and the room was almost empty. it is soon filled out and you got the impression, there was a series of masters and return guests. the appetizers that we chose were the palma ham and melons and the pasta e fagioli that my wife is delighted. the most important courses were a special of the day mixed seafood linguine, which was wonderful and the ravioli del buongustaio, which undoubtedly the most intense and tasty pasta dish I have ever tasted! the service was cozy, but completely efficient and helpful and we are happy to make this from our restaurants in london. a hidden shade that is worth a visit if you enjoy first class Italian cuisine in a family-run restaurant."

"Booked pre theatre dinner and it was far too busy for the poor waiting staff to cope. No time to get our dessert. Waited 45 mins for main course. Asked for no bacon in Caesar salad and it arrived with lettuce, bacon and chicken with dressing. Very expensive for a bowl of lettuce and couldn’t eat the bacon. Partner had fish and no complaints there. Didn’t complain to the poor waitress as it wasn’t her fault at all. Poor management and squeezing in far too many tables before theatre. We did get an apology but I’m sure every table got that. Wouldn’t put me off going again just not for a pre theatre dinner as they are full to capacity."

"Situated on a quiet leafy close in Barnsbury, The Albion is a fantastic pub a perfect spot for a drink (at one of the picnic tables out front, or in the expansive beer garden round the back , and an even better location for a super tasty Sunday roast. I first discovered The Albion when looking for somewhere canine friendly to eat with my parents, and their (cute but naughty dog...And in addition to the impressively laid back attitude of the staff (which they maintained even when the dog decided to sit on one of the stylishly upholstered sofas* , we were blown away by the fantastic food. I've had the pleasure of trying two of the roast options here: the whole roast chicken (supposedly to share between two, but my boyfriend gobbled it so quickly I barely got a look in! and, my favourite, the rib of beef (also for two . Alongside the platters of meat, the table was heaped with a generous helping of all the trimmings fluffy yorkshires, a fantastically dark, deeply savoury gravy, roas"
