"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"We had a fantastic Valentine's evening at this restaurant. It was busy and lively, and the pizza was absolutely delicious with a perfectly crispy crust. The traditional and intimate setting added to the overall charm, even though the tables were a bit small. However, this didn't detract from the cozy and homely feel of the place, with candles on each table creating a warm atmosphere. The service was attentive and the staff were sweet. Overall, we loved our experience here!"

"My Wife and I try and get out for a meal at least once a month, previous visits here were very good. Starters were fine, but I ordered a medium rare fillet steak for my main, got my steak which was well done, mistakes do happen, but to try and tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not need to explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal. Did give us a free bottle of wine to apologize, which was a nice touch."

"The staff were really well prepared for the reopening. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. He even showed us how to claim our free drink on the app. The food, drink and music were perfect. Sadly because we knew cash wouldn’t be accepted we took none and there was no way for us to tip the waiter via the app or card machine! They will accept cash for tips so I’d be prepared next time as they really deserved it!"

"This was our third visit this year, and honestly, the restaurant is just mediocre. Leatherhead doesn’t have many good dining options, so we keep returning to this Italian place. This time, I started with an avocado, tomato, and mozzarella salad, but it had no flavor at all. For my main course, I ordered spaghetti vongole, but it was gritty, so I couldn't eat it. The owner did offer an alternative, but I just didn’t feel like eating anymore. My partner ordered a pizza, but unfortunately, the crust wasn’t crispy. "our favorite Italian restaurant was completely booked and we decided to try a new restaurant. we are based on fabrizio based on the high ratings and great reviews on various platforms. as was noticed by some others, the inner is more functional than...all different. the service was fast and generally efficient, although it should be pointed out that there was only one waitress. eating, the whole purpose of visiting, was overwhelming. I am hard pressed, really hard pressed to agree with the various people who claim that this has the best (or close to the best) Italian cuisine in north london. the appetizers were inspiring (visual and taste) with the calamari seems to be of the frozen sort. the pasta dishes, such as linguine al gamberoni, had a craving vibe and not a positive sign. last but not least was the pizza, the diavola, only meh. we had much better many times over and in several Italian restaurants of small variety. this was a very uninteresting eating and we are very unlikely back."

"My husband and I and our three year old came here at last minute for an early NYE dinner and it was just a wonderful experience. Polite, efficient staff, wonderful food served promptly (I loved my lobster lasagna). The place was cosy and all decked out nicely for the holidays so had a festive atmosphere and prices weren't particularly dear, nor were you forced into a special menu because it was NYE. They were respectful of our wee one so felt child-friendly without being overtly and (clawingly) so which I love. Would come again for another NYE."

"Despite a reservation for 630 we didn't sit down until 7.10pm. Lovely and friendly though and fairly apologetic so we didn't mind the wait. Very slow service unfortunately, which meant we didn't leave until 10.30pm. Wine was lovely, food exceptional. Only real gripe was one of our party has dietary issues and could not eat their meal literally only had a few mouthfuls) yet there was no way she could take it home with her very adamant that it had to all go in the bin £20 meal). Next time she will take her own container. Most eateries offer a box these days but hey ho. We spent a small fortune on drinks and food and a little limoncello at the end would have been a nice touch, especially as it was for a 70th birthday but even so, a great celebratory meal and we will definitely give it another go purely because of the authentic and fantastic food. Don't let this put you off just don't expect a quick meal if you're in a hurry."

"I've been here a few times and always recommend it to people. considering that it is in the middle of the west end slap bang, the prices are great that I will be compared to another Italian place I will visit this evening in surrey, and the place in surrey is more expensive. the service is always good and eating is always great. the only thing I think is the frontage, it looks like the inner outdated, sticky and not completely hygienic, but that is not my experience at all, so don't let it go. highly recommended, and I will continue to go back for great Italian cuisine!"
