"As a chef for the past 10 years I know a genuine eatery when I go there. This place ticked all of the boxes. We arrived and they didn't have a table for us. We should definitely have booked ahead) but they managed to get us a table ready really quickly and without any fuss. Then once we say down the staff were the friendliest people you could imagine. In true Italian fashion they were kind generous and exceptionally well timed. We ordered some breads for the table. Various starters and pastas the truffle fettuccine was one of the best pastas I have eaten in a long time. That dish, along with the rest of the food brought me straight back to the restaurants in Italy. Thank you to you and all of your team."

Whenever I try a new Italian restaurant, I always go for the classic meat Raju dish, and this one definitely lived up to my expectations. And let's not forget about the delightful homemade tiramisu!

This was my first time dining at this Italian restaurant in Chapel Market and I was not disappointed. The food was outstanding and reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive. I will definitely be returning for a second visit.

We went to Mangia Bene for a pre-theatre meal before a performance at Sadlers Wells, which is a short walk from the venue. We received a warm welcome from Alina and the team. The restaurant is a small family run place with scrubbed wooden tables. The menu is typically Italian with a wide selection of pizza, pasta and risotto. The place was busy, however the service was attentive and friendly throughout. Very reasonable priced too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.
