"We had a fantastic Valentine's evening at this restaurant. It was busy and lively, and the pizza was absolutely delicious with a perfectly crispy crust. The traditional and intimate setting added to the overall charm, even though the tables were a bit small. However, this didn't detract from the cozy and homely feel of the place, with candles on each table creating a warm atmosphere. The service was attentive and the staff were sweet. Overall, we loved our experience here!"

"The staff were really well prepared for the reopening. Our waiter could not have been more helpful. He even showed us how to claim our free drink on the app. The food, drink and music were perfect. Sadly because we knew cash wouldn’t be accepted we took none and there was no way for us to tip the waiter via the app or card machine! They will accept cash for tips so I’d be prepared next time as they really deserved it!"

"when we went to this place, my wife and I discovered a damp and muffy smell. it reminded me of a wet dirty mop! we were there for the pizza with the farewell and took place while we waited for them to be cooked. on the first look the place looked very nice, but while I was on our order, I could take a closer look. with more accurate inspection the decor and decoration was very sad," and in the necessity of improvement. we were glad that we were there for one. my pizza was very good, but a little burned at the edges, a part of the teigs at the edges was burned black. the pizza of my wife, however, was not cooked in the middle and the teig there was of a sloppy resistance. will not go back there."

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"Absolutely gone downhill massively AVOID! Have been a regular here for a while, the last time I came was shocking service with 2 items of food (one being pizza for children forgotten by the kitchen manager apologised and removed service charge after I queried. This time is actually the LAST STRAW ! Went with 2 children. Asked for pizza with half mushroom (apparently they don 't do halves even for children!?! ... Fine. Asked for the kids pizza to come with starters. Starters came and were finished, with the kids now full because their food hadn 't arrived. Kids pizza came, I said I didn 't want it anymore and the waitress said she 'll take it back... Only when the apparent owner came in an aggressive type manner and said why don 't you want it, what shall I do with it . I explained I wanted it with the starters and the waitress acknowledged it, and he didn 't care. Will not be returning to this place and urge others not to either. It went through a down period previously and picked up again. Maybe this is another down period and should be closed for good especially if that 's the owner 's attitude... Even though the starters were OK!"

"Never AGAIN. I have eaten here a number of times and the Service has got worse and worse. I can't complain about the food but the waiters and manager I would recomend taking a customer service course !! No baby changing Facilities and the disable toliet stank of ciggerate smoke.The kitchen upstairs is disgusting and flirthy I'm glad I ordered a pizza which was cooked downstairs.Price is higher than normal and service charge is a joke.Would not recomend here......"

"Warm welcome at the door to a bright and trim restaurant that has a natural ambience of busy but personal. From the moment of sitting you are made to feel like you 're the only table that matters, this was a nice touch. Of the 4 of us, 3 were drinking alcohol, we simply asked for the House White which was fit for purpose. I 'd heard the starters were quite large so we opted for 3 of the 'Nibbles ' options, these were only plenty big enough to suit us. Do try the deep fried rice balls, they are lovely. We had mains of Pizza, Spaghetti frutti di mare, Fillet Steak and Pollo Funghi. Steak was ordered Rare, it arrived, Rare. As the most expensive dish, this was the most important. They were keen to check it was OK very soon after first cut. The ongoing service was excellent, attentive and polite. Conversation was made but not in an intrusive way and we were never interrupted if in conversation with each other. That is the sign of a good host. Everything was clean, and heavy cloth napkins are a very nice touch. Water is already on the table and refilled without asking. I was not drinking alcohol, so had the Bud Blue zero. I 'd have maybe liked one or two more options on that particular point but it certainly didn 't spoli anything. We sat for nearly 2 hours, taking it at our pace and the bill for 4 adults was £162. We feel that was very reasonable as the food was fresh and of superb quality. The sauce for the Chicken was divine, with mushroom that actually had a stronger taste. We opted for the Peppercorn sauce with the Steak which was also fantasic. The Potato and Veg sides served with the main were plentful and hot. We will be going back."

"The best italian restaurant in london. Visited Olive Garden on Saturday 21st September for the first time with my family as we just moved to Southfields recently. I was shoked the restaurant was absolutely packed, but they told us to wait and in few min we had our table ready. The service was very good, very professional and very quick. They really worked very hard. Food delicious, perfectly cooked. My housband had a fish from specials the best fish he had in ages. "I have been dining at this restaurant since it first opened, and have ordered from them countless times through delievroo. My family even had them cater my son's birthday party 14 years ago. However, during my most recent visit, the service was unacceptably chippy, and the food was a complete disaster. The starters took so long to arrive that we were famished, and when they finally did come, we discovered the calamari was inedible and likely not even made in their kitchen. The rest of the food seemed to be microwaved and lacked any semblance of being home cooked. The service was poorly managed, with us having to physically get up and go to the kitchen after waiting over an hour for our food. The overall experience was so disappointing that I can confidently say it was the worst meal I have ever been served in my life. I have been a loyal customer for 23 years, but after this experience, I will be avoiding this restaurant at all costs. It's a shame to see how it has changed under new ownership. A simple M&S ready meal would have been a far better and more enjoyable option."

"As a chef for the past 10 years I know a genuine eatery when I go there. This place ticked all of the boxes. We arrived and they didn't have a table for us. We should definitely have booked ahead) but they managed to get us a table ready really quickly and without any fuss. Then once we say down the staff were the friendliest people you could imagine. In true Italian fashion they were kind generous and exceptionally well timed. We ordered some breads for the table. Various starters and pastas the truffle fettuccine was one of the best pastas I have eaten in a long time. That dish, along with the rest of the food brought me straight back to the restaurants in Italy. Thank you to you and all of your team."

"I 'm someone who likes to eat out often, so having been looking forward to coming to this restaurant I was appalled by the terrible and unprofessional service we experienced here. Firstly after being rushed to put our order in at the bar, they brought our starters and only 2 of the mains together. We wanted our starter before main meal but were told 'it saves the waiter 's legs ' by bringing both together. Say no more. My father then had to wait for his main after my mum and I had eaten ours, when it finally came it was the wrong meal. The owner was very grumpy and far too defensive simply no customer service, he said the third meal didn 't go through to the kitchen then came back to charge us for this meal separately, we paid for it but just awful restaurant and staff. The food was good, but as the service was so awful, I would never return here, nor recommend this place to anyone. The service is just as important as quality of food when eating out, and this place fails on every count. Stay away is my advice."

Had excellent sausage and egg roll washed down with a cup of coffee.Eggs had apparently run out and a further and a half dozen were hand delivered in minutes!...Varied menu has much to please its principal customers being locals in the know (usually members who enjoy a discount) and walkers/cyclists enjoying the adjacent Flitch Way (well known path principally along a disused railway line) which is yards away. Pleasant and affable customer service, I will be taking my daughter back tomorrow on the Bank Holiday for a quick bite whilst she has a cycle.We will also look to try one of their Pizza Evenings with music using their impressive brick built pizza oven. Well worth supporting this excellent local venture."

"Despite a reservation for 630 we didn't sit down until 7.10pm. Lovely and friendly though and fairly apologetic so we didn't mind the wait. Very slow service unfortunately, which meant we didn't leave until 10.30pm. Wine was lovely, food exceptional. Only real gripe was one of our party has dietary issues and could not eat their meal literally only had a few mouthfuls) yet there was no way she could take it home with her very adamant that it had to all go in the bin £20 meal). Next time she will take her own container. Most eateries offer a box these days but hey ho. We spent a small fortune on drinks and food and a little limoncello at the end would have been a nice touch, especially as it was for a 70th birthday but even so, a great celebratory meal and we will definitely give it another go purely because of the authentic and fantastic food. Don't let this put you off just don't expect a quick meal if you're in a hurry."
