"Only had diner here. Very welcoming and helpful staff and great food. Well not just great, some of the best I've had in a pub. Oh and very dog-friendly. Will go back to try their pizza's and some other dessert! Edit: Went back for the pizza. 5 stars definitely still stand! Service: 5 Location: 4"

"So very disappointing. Hadn’t been here for several months and took a friend for lunch as it used to be pretty good. We ordered crab rolls in tempura which turned out to be king prawns in batter accompanied by bottled soy sauce. The bread (at£2.50) was a white sliced loaf from a local shop or bakery and the wine was overpriced. Whilst the service was efficient and friendly, the rip off London prices for below average bistro food were disappointing. 18 months ago this was one of my favourite dots that showed promise of becoming a regional contender. Now it’s an overpriced tourist trap with below average food. Very disappointing."

"Very disappointed, we travelled from New Romney for a nice lunch and felt as if the staff were very annoyed to have customers. Not at all helpful and lunch was slammed onto our table. They messed up 3 different orders while we sat there and told one lady that the coffee they gave her was not for her. It was a bit like falwty towers. Coffee was nearly cold and toasted sandwiches were very medioca. We’ll never return and just a warning to others."
