beautiful Sunday roasts as usual: relaxed atmosphere and beautiful stsff

service was excellent and eating. the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.

we all had the nut on sun roast and it was absolutely delicious recommended. if they want a sunday roast and there are nice or vegan, this is perfect.

Pleasant atmosphere on a quiet evening shortly after Christmas. Staff very kind and appropriately attentive. All very nice except my “belly of pork” was a slice, charred on the outside and rather dry meat, which wasn't what I expected.

I ordered bass which I had ordered on a previous occasion. The portion was tiny in comparison. More skin than fish. Our main plates were left on the table for over an hour, even after we had eaten our dessert. My husband was happy with his meal, and kids dessert was good. View menu

Although a little expensive the food was well worth it, some of the best I’ve had in a long time. However the service was awful, plates left on the table for 15 mins plus before being cleared. Empty glasses on the table and no offer of more. We even had to go up to the bar to pay the bill due to not being served. Such a shame service was poor, especially when it was not busy. We were 1 of only 3 tables eating.

for a Sunday roast with my better half and our two youngest girls. we were immediately shown on our table. we had lamm and the girls had that huh. They come with groundless bratkartoffels, don't forget to ask if they want more. all meals were cooked nicely. pudding was a puddle crown with ice. the girls were late, but they didn't care how they had an extra ice cream at the top. After we finished, we decided to sit in a comfortable chair and relax and drink another drink. I can recommend the hush heath merlot. my wife asked if she could give up the log burner, and it wasn't enough for her to sort it. if it were warmer, there is a beautiful view from the terrace. good advice.

We really wanted to enjoy this meal more than we did, although the staff and service were great, so friendly and attentive, the food was not as good as it could have been. Starters were excellent, but the main meals just didn’t hit the spot, the emphasis appeared to be on presentation and volume (HUGE portions) rather than quality and attention to detail. As an example, the mussels I had were either not as fresh as advertised or had been overdone as they were chewy and tasteless, many of the shells were broken which meant the sauce was gritty, and I wasn’t given a finger bowl or separate dish for the shells; I did inform the waitress that the mussels had not been good, however she did not as...
