"Very disappointed, we travelled from New Romney for a nice lunch and felt as if the staff were very annoyed to have customers. Not at all helpful and lunch was slammed onto our table. They messed up 3 different orders while we sat there and told one lady that the coffee they gave her was not for her. It was a bit like falwty towers. Coffee was nearly cold and toasted sandwiches were very medioca. We’ll never return and just a warning to others."

If you like GOOD coffee and a pleasant little place to enjoy it, then this is the place! Most coffee houses don't even come close and nowhere does it better. Love it

Divine carrot cake and very delicious cappuchino. This time we didn’ try the sandwiches, which always were a pleasure when consumed. Unfortunately we are only there once a year (at most) while on holiday.

Hidden gem, near to Waitrose in Sayers lane. Wonderful coffee and delicious croissants. Small place as it accommodates 14 at a squash. We were lucky to get seats. Recommended as it was open on Monday when others aren't!

Great location and delicious vegan lunch of avocado, toasted sour dough and a sun dried tomato salsa with soy latte. Sat out in the sun off the main high street. My cousin loved her warm sausage roll which had caramelised onions in it. View menu

A lovely, quaint delicatessen and coffee shop. Friendly staff, a good choice of snacks and drinks and delicious aromas as you sit waiting for your order to arrive. There's seating both inside and outside. Just the place to drop[ into when you are shopping.

This a regular place and one of our favourites, for myself and my best friend. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Small, and sometimes hard to get a seat, but that is an attraction for us. I enjoyed my tuna melt and cappuccino and was tempted by their usual range of cakes.

Four of us came for lunch and coffee. We had toasties and were also tempted by the delicious looking cakes. Everything was fresh and tasted lovely. I bought some locally roasted coffee as I had enjoyed my flat white so much, and a jar of homemade marmalade. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area View menu

Wow what a find. Quick visit to the town and we wanted somewhere quick and easy for a light lunch but we never expected to stumble over this place. Great interior space, clear menus, and a lovely selection. Toasted tuna and the brie and cranberry were to die for, fresh and full of taste. Good coffee brewed correctly. Dont miss this place its a great find and local!

Nobody can doubt the quality of the coffee probably the finest in the South East or the quality of the amazing selecting cakes and salads but more importantly the sheer level of service delivered by the staff. Headed up by the wonderful Ellie and Sarah who make everyone feel at home the minute they walk in they are the jewels in the crown that make you want to go back time after time and enjoy the best 30 minutes of the day!!

"Our excitement to see this café open allowed us an opportunity for some needed refreshment . Oh a cup of tea and a slice of cake or a little available small snack was what we needed . We were told by an employee sit down we come to you , so we did .. Another staff member standing behind the counter looked over and frumpy look called the cook who had the same frumpy look and went back to cooking , We : waited , waited , waited , waited and saw the frumpy counter woman still in the same spot , we waited and waited then left , maybe she was glued to the floor . We looked left and saw a pub named the Pheasant, oh drink and food , renewed enthusiasm and excitement we entered to staff who couldn 't do enough, so professional and warrants praise and a revisit , after a while we left and waited outside for our taxi , looking over we saw the cafe closed , ahhhhh it all came together and understanding that we was an inconvenience to the café as they was closing in half an hour after our visit , How long would it have taken to make a cup of tea for two? , us drink it , then how long would it have taken them to wash up the cups ? , they still would have twenty minutes for the woman to be unglued, our first impressions were of a cafe with many seats and a welcoming atmosphere, the woman employee sitting at the front table working was professional and welcoming the tables were clean and we kept our excitement as we waited , our excitement and enthusiasm faded, we left happily for the woman glued to the floor , we are appreciating the effort of the lady at the table who was seriously let down by the others , thank you for your efforts , apart from her professional customer service skills our Eureka moment to see the café open wasn 't to last , sorry to the staff member at the table I 'm very sure the service we had wouldn 't have been what you would have given , this review seems strong in tone but it 's our experience in here that day.. . I am not now able to show enthusiasm for another visit , I would have loved having that day and opportunity to empty my wallet a little and a little bit more on what would have been another visit , sorry no Eureka moment taken away that day."
