"I wanted to try out things before, and the last one was done at night. I was thrilled to discover, they offer a fully dedicated vegetarian menu and even more impressed when I discovered a few vegan options as well as listed. the restaurant itself is charming, cozy, quirky and welcoming with beautiful art hanging on sunny yellow walls, wooden floors, warm lighting and an open kitchen, so that they see the chefs their magie. it has a relaxed atmosphere, but also feels like a special, luxurious place to dinate. the two men who served us were friendly, helpful and chatting without being intrusive, I would rate the service as the best I experienced in any restaurant. I ordered a starter of spageltempura with asian salate, fresh and tangy, mainly from sweet potatoes and cherry fried fritters on a delicious mild creamy spinat curry and a luscious melt in the middle chocolate pudding with fresh earthberries, celestial and cream for dessert. my dinning partners shared a starter of the brote with tapenade that I tried and would highly recommend for the fresh taste and exceptionally generous portion literally a huge basket of individual baked broth. the food was from this world in terms of quality and taste. it was completely unimaginable. in my party of four people, each of us thought that it was the best that we cost in a very long time. we enjoyed our culinary experience in ginger bistro so much that we already plan a return trip. if they hadn't been, I would recommend you try it, as a meal here is an exceptionally pleasant evening. so a restaurant goer bistro should be perfect in every sight. I would give him 5 stars on happy cow if I could. updated by previous review on Wednesday, 14 October 2015"

"Bland food and very overpriced, ribs ok, squid was flubbery but fresh, the tacos with salmon mix and mayo were grim only eatable after adding chilli sauce too, and two for 11 quid was a joke. Sake OK and had a beer. , 65 quid for one, is not good, won't return. If you think One bottle 70cl of Sake for 18 x 4 is fair! Come on 72 quid... , indicative of food price... ! I went to you twice, as I was hungry..., re. the Chinese next door they may have been ok, but after finishing one pint and there not being internet, I asked them for your password, I needed to go. I also asked if they had started to cook my food at which point they said no. I paid them for beer and said, I would return. The fact, there did not seem to be much cooking going on was a red flag to me and I did not have time. Your concept is ok, but a bit of drift wood in comparison to London and it's my fault to draw comparisons, and I did give it a second chance but simply put it's not very good. Seems you have a bee in your bonnet, re. Chinese food and cutting and pasting recurring theme, Only just started reviewing items. Please don't make comparison between a Chinese directly next to your abode that may be ok, and fact you are trying the London street food tribe here in Blackpool, which I wish you luck with, but having seen it and spending money with you on separate occasions please have the grace to say thank you and good bye. Else to many perhaps you may look a bit tribal and bitter. Good luck."

"The food was very nice, the best cauliflower buffalo wings I have tasted, and the fries were very nice along with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was nothing short of excellent as the waiting staff were very warm, welcoming, polite and friendly. The drawbacks, particularly for my first time dining at Mary Dillwyn, were: the menu clearly mentioned that they could do vegan onion rings, but when asked they couldn't do vegan onion rings because of the frier even though they have a frier for the fries to be vegan, and I was then, not puzzled not only over this, but also as to why it is mentioned on the menu; limited vegan desserts, which is fine, but then run out out run out of the vegan apple tart, they explained that they have been busy, but better stock control is needed they must know that the apple vegan apple tart is popular; there was no alternative milk for coffee so I had my meal without my latte, it was explained that there is not much call for it and they go off, I know it can't be helped but this did set back my dining experience at Mary Dillwyn; the vegan soup was tomato soup, I didn't order this as I had already had a Big Tom drink, nevertheless, I should have prefered something more adventurous such as a festive vegetable winter soup, or just a winter vegetable soup any vegan soup would be a lot better than a tomato soup so I dined without a starter as the limitations of the vegan starters. But I should definitely go back again as most of my dining experience was good, so I will give it another try."

"this is a great place Thai restaurant that we unfortunately do not visit as much as we want. it has been an established part of my hometown hornchurch and serves fantastic Thai cuisine for many years. I am now glad to say that on Saturday we had a opportunity to visit and again eating was full of all the aromes they expect from this style of food. on Saturday we have walked on our fifteen minute walk to the heart of the city where they find the restaurant. we entered and received the usual friendly reception before we took our places. While we looked at the menu, we ordered a beautiful bottle of maison bergon 2020 a delightful French sauvignon blanc, full of citrus fruits, apple and lemongras aromas. unusual for us we decided to choose a set menu. we chose the Bangkok menu with an additional Thai salad. this started with the prawn crackers and sweet chili diving sauce. the starter was a plate consisting of chickensatai, spring rolls, huh on toast, chicken strips prawn tempura, which was all fresh, hot and full of fabulous thai aromen. we followed this with our additional plate of the yum nuar a fabulous spicy salate of cut grilled sirloin, swirl, early swirl, coriander, lemon juice, fish sauce chili flock, which I would definitely recommend. we now went to the main courses that would be with ingwer in black bohnensoße, chicken green curry, sweet with egg noodles. thai jasmin reis. the aromen and choir again complicated themselves perfectly and made every dish absolutely delicious. to finish they can have either tee, coffee or a few pots vanilla ice cream. this brought our charming Thai lunch to the end, and we hope to do again in the near future. I would highly recommend a visit here as eating is fantastic and there is always a good friendly service. also it is a long established part of our community and should be supported. many thanks for our fabulous lunch and look forward to seeing them all again soon."
