"We were celebrating a friends birthday, and he chose this restaurant because he walked past it the previous day. What a find ! We ordered a few starters to share and the tabouleh and the falafel in particular was the finest I have ever eaten. We ordered 4 different mains and we were all delighted with the quality and flavour of each meal. The portions were also very generous. Mohamed, who looked after us, was attentive, completely in control and made us feel very comfortable. To top it off, to get food of this quality for the price charged is very unusual. If you have yet to experience Lebanese cuisine, or are already familiar, this restaurant will not disappoint in either case."

"Totally lived up to our expectations. We have been visiting The Shed and this time decide to try another one of their place and happy to say we will come back. Since it’s from the farm to your plate, the produce was top class and the flavours and textures absolutely on point. My favourite dish was the (I’m vegetarian) oyster mushroom and celeriac purée and the leek hearts with honey truffle yogurt. Of the goats cheese and almonds is their classic from The Shed which you must order. We asked for some bread to go with it and that too was warm fresh and with some smoked butter which was sinfulllll. However the vienetta parfait was disappointing but hey .. the food made up for it. Will be going back for the tasting menu next time. Thank you Rabbit "

"What has happened to Med One??? We tried to book for a party of 10, we were told over the phone we had to pay a deposit which was absolutely fine BUT we couldn't pay over the phone...we would have to pay cash which meant someone would have to drive into Huddersfield after 5pm when they open in order to pay. Hours have reduced, no daytime hours any more so sadly no lunches at med one. The food was amazing as usual and the waiting staff were lovely. When we went to pay we were met by a very surly man at the bar who told us we couldn't pay individually, someone would have to pay for a party of 10. When we complained he said he would allow us just this once but he wouldn't do it again. (We replied, don't worry, there won't be a next time) He was so rude, no thank you for our business, did you enjoy your meal? Very surly. Med One food is fantastic but they seem to be going out of their way to make things difficult for customers . Such a shame to lose a fantastic restaurant. I know times are hard but come on Med One, let customers know you appreciate them!"

"We went to this restaurant with a large group on Valentine's Day. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate larger parties. The menu had a wide variety of options for vegetarian dishes, but they did not have everything listed on the menu and were out of desserts by the end of the evening, despite not being very busy. The portion sizes of the dishes were not very large, but there was still enough to eat. Overall, the restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks. We had a pleasant evening and the waiter was friendly, funny, and attentive. This restaurant is a good choice for vegetarians and those who enjoy world cuisine, but it may not be the best for couples or meat and fish lovers, especially if dining in a smaller group."

"AMAZING FOOD!! The restaurant was a bit dark but the atmosphere was great. Me and my friend shared one meze and we had our own main dish, and we shared dessert. The quantity was good. It was the best hummus I had and also the bread was nice. For appetizer, they gave olives and it was not too salty like other places and it was nice. I got aubergine dish and it was yum and my friend got chicken dish and it was very good. The coffee ice cream with chocolate chips was nice but be careful with the chocolate. It's hard haha I would love to come back again! Next time, I might get one of meze for my main!"
