"The food was good, but the service needs to be improved. We arrived and informed the staff of our reservation, but they did not seem to understand or acknowledge the reservation. Two different staff kept asking me to confirm how many people were in my party despite that information being on my reservation. We sat down at the far end of the restaurant, by the kitchen door, which meant we could be away from the noise of the groups at the front. Unfortunately, we were still disturbed by the loud shouting and screaming of those other groups, who were presumably drunk. For autistic people like me, loud shouting or screaming by others inside a confined space can be distressing. We were not given a drinks menu and assumed that the restaurant did not have one. We were told by the person taking our order that the restaurant had everything regarding drinks. We were about to state which drinks we wanted when that same staff member started listing all the general drinks they had, like beers, wine and soft drinks. The staff member spoke over one shy/quiet person in my party and insisted that she order wine, even though she did not want that. The lack of a drinks menu meant we did not know how much drinks would cost us. The staff member further confused my group by failing to clearly explain the portion difference between a side vegetable curry and a main one. The person who originally ordered the side curry felt pressured into agreeing to order a main vegetable curry because the staff member kept talking at her. After we ordered two portions of vegetable samosas as starters, we were told minutes later that we could only have one portion. It was unclear why. We felt rushed into deciding which alternative vegetable sides we wanted because we didn 't have the time or space to think, consider and discuss amongst ourselves whilst the staff member towered over and talked at us. After we paid the bill, we were approached by the same staff member who showed me a card of some type and insisted that I tap or scan it with my phone to leave a review. I got the impression that the staff member was going to stand, wait and watch me as I did this, which I found uncomfortable. I told the staff member that I would leave a review later. I don 't think it 's right to tower over your customers after they 've eaten to insist they leave a review on travel sites and platforms like Google Maps. The food here is good, so I suggest ordering takeaways instead of dining in."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"This restaurant is always very nice, we come here every time we visit London and always receive excellent service. Even when it is busy, the staff are friendly and always manage to find us a table. I highly recommend this restaurant and have already recommended it to my friends. Thank you, James Owens."

"The waiters are clean, accommodating and offer excellent customer service. The food portions are good, with delicious and balanced flavours. I would highly recommend the set dinner for 1 if you have a big appetite. Great quality food for an affordable price. The music and atmosphere is cosy, intimate and traditional, which made the dining experience even more immersive. This was our first time eating here but we will definitely be back."

"I haven't visited this restaurant in over a year. It can be best described as okay, but nothing more than that. They have entertainment there every Wednesday, if I remember correctly, featuring an Elvis impersonator."

"On Wednesday, 30/11/22, three local middle-aged pescatarian men celebrated a birthday by going out for lunch at Madras, a Sri-Lankan/South Indian restaurant in Lewisham. They had been to the restaurant before when it was known as The Green Cabin. The restaurant had a few faded decorations and furniture, but the food was always tasty and reasonably priced. They arrived around 13:40 and found the restaurant nearly empty, so they chose a table by the window in the hopes of attracting more customers. The menu offered a mix of traditional Indian and South Indian dishes, and they decided to skip alcohol and order lassis instead. They were cautious about ordering too much due to the spiciness of the food. Throughout their meal, they noticed several delivery couriers coming in and out. A family arrived later on, but the restaurant remained relatively quiet. One of the men accidentally ordered a mixed Thali, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise with a variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. They also ordered a Mutton Masala Dosai and some side dishes to share. The food was spicy but delicious, and they managed to finish everything without needing a doggy bag. The bill came to a reasonable £50.90, and they left a £5 tip before heading out into the streets of Lewisham, happy and satisfied."

"Before the lockdown, we made a point of eating in the restaurant every two or three weeks. We have not found such a good local Indian restaurant in many years of looking. Since the lockdown, we have been receiving deliveries from Bombay Nights every few weeks and it is the only Indian takeaway which retains it's flavours after leaving the restaurant. My wife is usually highly critical of take-away food, but has not once complained about any delivery from Bombay Nights. The food arrives well packaged and hot and full of amazing flavours. What to recommend? Depends on what you like. My wife is very fond of Goan Chicken or Prawns amongst other dishes and has never been disappointed. I tend to eat vegetarian and every dish is as good as the other. Staff are extremely friendly and almost feel like family.. If you're outside their delivery area, they will still deliver for an acceptable premium. They've made the lockdown bearable for us!!"

"After a busy day last Sunday we thought a curry so to try delhi flavor as I am new in the opposite and like to use local restaurants where they are worth it. delhi flavour is worth a visit. the room was quiet. I guess that's normal for a Sunday night. the personal is friendly and efficient. the food was excellent. my partner would recommend the lamm madras as he eagerly shot the loose. he likes his curries hot and he said the lamb madras was certainly hot. I swallowed the chicken-shashlik that was beautiful. I love the fact that we could take our own drinks. it makes a great evening a little less expensive. although the prices in delhi aroma are excellent. we will certainly return to this place as often as we can. a large curry house in walking distance, happy us!"

"We ordered takeout from this restaurant and everything we got was really delicious. Ordering over the phone from their online menu was easy. It's hard to beat the quality of the food we received."

"We came as 4 adults and 3 kids. Each one of us loved our dinner experience here. One of the kids said it was very clean and the food were nice. The other kid said that she loved the heart shaped fruits. My 3 yr old said he loved everything. The adults were all stuffed. We all loved it. The best to say is they have the best service staff here, friendly, welcoming, and made sure all of us are having a good time. Thank you everyone. Will definitely recommend, and we’ll surely come back."

"With stylish presentation, delicately flavours and silky sauces, Kouchin's menu includes poplar curry house favourites, but its their ‘Connoisseurs Choice’ of unique dishes which catch the eye. Kouchin's ‘Dom Phukt’ cooking tradition dates back to the days of they Moghuls but with addition of modern panache. I'd recommend Grilled Seabass Fillet with roasted pickling spices £12.95; Tawa Duck Breast marinated in garlic, ginger, mustard, coriander honey then grilled on a tawa. Served with stir fried rice, noodles a medium spiced sauce for £11.95, in soft cheese saffron with a crunchy crisped skin, but succulent pink flesh £12.95; or the Lobster In Goan Masala of coconut, star aniseed for £25.95."

"I have visited many Indian restaurants, but I have often been disappointed by the lack of variety in their dishes. They are either overly spicy or bland, and often drenched in oil and artificial coloring. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this particular restaurant. Despite its unassuming appearance, the food was well-seasoned, made with high quality meat, and overall excellent. I was very impressed and will definitely return. Although I have had some average experiences in the past, my most recent visit was once again excellent. Every restaurant has its off days, but for the price, this place offers the best value for takeout in York. While Mirchiz on Fishergate may offer slightly higher quality dining, it is also more expensive. For a local Indian restaurant, this place surpasses its competition."

"I'm out of india and in london for an official visit. "I placed an order online through the restaurant's website using my Visa card processed by Worldpay. I received an email confirmation with the order number and estimated delivery time of 45-60 minutes around 7:06 pm. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 45 minutes and making 17 unsuccessful phone calls, I decided to visit the restaurant. The owner claimed they didn't receive my order, despite me showing him the email receipts and screenshots. He rudely suggested I contact the bank and showed no willingness to help or apologize for the inconvenience. Despite my bank account being charged, the owner refused to take responsibility for the issue. I received no food and encountered unprofessional and rude behavior from the owner. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and seeking out other more hospitable options in Milton Keynes. Sizzling Grillz does not deserve even one star for their disgraceful conduct."

"Terrible. I ordered momos, Everest lamb and steamed rice. You get about 10 momos with the broth and side which is acceptable for £10. On a first bite yes they are nice but then you look and realise they are all far too uniform and are shop bought absolutely not made on the premises so I could have zipped to oriental express and got some for the freezer! No happy. The broth was a bit bland. Then we move to the curry do you think the customer is stupid? I could taste allspice and it hadn’t cooked out so was horrible and overpowering. The lamb was as tough as old boots so had not cooked off enough either. I was gonna give leftovers to my teen son but I chucked it down the toilet instead as I want him to know quality and this was not how Nepalese food should taste. What sort of clowns are running this parade?!!"

"We ate in here last night. It was early and clearly although the restaurant was empty, they were busy with takeaway trade. We had the Happy Hour menu and found the food to be attractively served and really very good. The waiters were smart and...friendly, making an effort to talk to us. We don't have hearty appetites these days and regretted not being able to finish our main courses. The waiter kindly allowed us to take the leftovers and packed it up nicely for us. It was just as nice today! Good luck to a very pleasant restaurant which turns out delicious food at very reasonable prices and has such pleasant staff."
