"We really enjoyed our Sunday dinner yesterday. The service was excellent, and the menu offered a great variety, including some fantastic specials. It’s conveniently located near Belhus Landpark if you'd like to explore the area afterward. I recommend booking a table in advance; we tried to come a few months ago, but the place was so busy (which is a good sign!) that we couldn't get a table. My steak was cooked to perfection, and we will definitely be back, especially in the summer to enjoy the lovely outdoor space!"

"We ordered a meal for 4 to celebrate our daughter's birthday and the first meeting for some months with her and her husband they live in the midlands and we live in Epsom. The meal was not delivered by the time stated we were under time pressure because they were driving home in the evening. When we rang we found they had delivered our meal to the wrong house. We went there (a few doors away) and could smell indian food but no one would come to the door. We had been charged over £60 and we then asked for a refund. By this time it was an hour later the restaurant hung up when we called again to say we couldn't retrieve our food. Our daughter and son in law had to return home ruining what had been a lovely day and her birthday celebration. Then my husband and I went to Khans to get a refund. They said they had our order ready but we explained our guests had now gone home and we wanted a full refund. After some argument including first of all saying this was not possible because we had ordered online they did refund our credit card and admitted that their driver had misread the number of our house. However, it was now quite late in the evening and they made no other concession other than the refund for the food we never received. Shocking service I know it was a mistake but having cooked the food you would have thought they might have had the decency to give us one of the dishes too. We have lived in Epsom for over 30 years and often used this restaurant under its various names but will not be doing so again unless there is a change of management. The irony is that our daughter and son in law ordered an indian takeaway to be delivered at their home for when they arrived after a 2 hour drive and so they were greeted with hot food when they got home. I had some sandwiches which were left from our picnic lunch Thank you Khans for completely wrecking our day."

"Visited this fine establishment for the first time in a while and was just as good as the last time I went,had the hot sesame beef and halloumi salad to start which is always a winner and the wife had the tempura prawns with sweet...chilli sauce which the waitress was happy to swap for the wasabi mayo. Mains I went for the mix grill and all the meats were cooked to perfection and I had the potato gratin which were lovely and garlicky and the coleslaw which was the best I’ve had,wife went for the sirloin which was huge cooked just how she likes it medium and like me had the gratin and coleslaw,by this time we were pretty stuffed but waited a bit and then we both went for the crème brûlée which were divine Washed down with a bottle of Prosecco and a couple of craft beers we left very much satisfied and will be visiting again very soon and have recommended my works have there xmas lunch there. The staff were very knowledgeable about any questions you had about the food and drinks and were very attentive without being overbearing,very rare these days as most places just wanna turn the tables over asap."

"Unfortunately, our recent dining experience was not pleasant. The staff welcomed us warmly and the service was quick, but that was the extent of the positives. We ordered papadums and pickles as starters, which were delicious. However, the actual starters were small and tasteless, prompting us to not finish them. The main dishes were also small in portion size and lacked flavor, especially the jalfrezi. The bill came as a surprise, with the meal not offering good value for money. Despite being asked if we had a voucher, we will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon. We believe there are much better Indian restaurants in town, such as Golden Gate, Dilshad, and Masala Lounge, which offer tastier food at better prices. Overall, it was not a satisfying dining experience with our friends."

"This was my second visit to PURE in a week. The food here really is outstanding. Full of clear and noticeable flavour and good variety. It is NOT a typical Indian restaurant with a menu longer than a Redwood tree in Yosemite but a thoughtful selection of curries including a Degustation menu for GBP52.00. I have had scallops twice now and my Chef partner and daughter and sister have shared multiple dishes as well. The staff are considerate and professional and VERY keen to please. Good wine selection again and of course suitable beer to accompany anything spicy. Comfortable seating arrangements and clean toilets. I LOVE this place. Small, high level, no nonsense, good simple food done really well. Cant wait to go back!"

I know that this is the new filials of caffè concerto and they may have problems with teeth. in the lob des managers we were discounted and received additional macaroons for which we were not calculated."

"We started dining at this restaurant after the first lockdown and I can no longer highly recommend it for its food and service. The staff is always friendly and happy to accommodate us, whether we choose to dine in, take away, or have it delivered. The prices are fair for the large portions of high-quality food they serve. Deliveries are always on time, or even earlier than expected. Occasionally, they have even given us a complimentary bottle of wine or beer, which is a nice gesture. Overall, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cheltenham!"

"Not sure if there was a lift but if not disabled access is non existent. Would benefit from background music subtle lighting and a few plants and lamps it’s very clean but clinical and austere. Condiments were requested before food arrived but were left with meal going cold whilst they arrived. Wine choice was Merlot which the waiter thought was on the wine list but alas it was not Shiraz was a pleasant alternative. Although lamb had a tasty bbq taste there was a lot of waste from gristle and sinew the tomato was nice but cold. The meal arrived very quickly more like a cafe than restaurant and thought being called ‘guys’ all the time wasn’t what you would expect"

"We went to the Black Horse for Mother’s Day lunch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, kept checking on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and offering us drinks. The food was incredible, very large roast dinners and good portion sizes. Kids meals were delicious too. Seeing as it was Mother’s Day we treated ourselves to dessert, all the desserts were homemade and amazing! We had the brownie and the biscoff cheesecake and the kids enjoyed the ice cream my dad requested an Irish coffee which wasn’t on the menu but they made it for him anyway. At the end of the meal us mums in the group were gifted a mini bottle of gin and some chocolates which we were very happy with, such a lovely gesture! Overall a lovely pub with yummy food and a friendly atmosphere, I’m sure we will be back!"

"There was a great delay to have the first starters, but then everything goes smoothly. The food was delicious and the quantities were good. "Special mention to Rahul, he was absolutely lovely and such a kind soul, he went above and beyond to ensure my sister’s graduation meal was comfortable and perfect. "Food was good, decent portion of English breakfast, American pancakes and salmon avocano toast. But one staff which believe was team leader or manager was unacceptable. For place like this and hospitality he seems doesn't know how to lead a team. A lady waiter misread the order for coffee or tea and he was very rude to her front of everyone who was sitting inside. Second he had two full glasses of freshly squeezed orange juice behind the bar again while guests watching him. And not to mention he didn't mention or apologise that we had to wait 40 min for our order. The gentleman behind the bar with beard who seemed to be a barman he was very nice and polite once he saw i was looking for someone to ask to clean coffee from my chair so i can sit he run to wipe out himself. But again for the team leader or manager you should change your attitude towards stuff and guests or find yourself another job."

"This revue is purely about the restaurant as I only dined there. It is a beautifully laid out restaurant, well decorated with linen tablecloths, water jug etc. so first impressions are excellent. The friendliness of the staff compliments this, as does their efficient service. It was a Sunday so we had the traditional Sunday roast (two roast beef and one lamb shank), which matched our expectations, excellent. We had three different deserts, and not one disappointed. The only thing I could pick on, was the fact I felt there should have been more prawns in the prawn cocktail, but that's only because I couldn't fault anything else. Without doubt we will be returning again very soon. Mega plus, bring your own wine with no corkage charge. Also interesting to hear some of the restaurants background from Callum the hotel's general manager, like it when staff come up through the ranks. And if the chef gets to read this loved the Jus, way better than gravy. If you've never been go, as you won't be disappointed."
