"Having spent a number of holidays on various Greek islands over the years, I know a thing or two about Greek food. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine, give this place a miss. Apart from a very obnoxious and sarcastic waiter, the food was extremely bland. I always thought Moussaka was a dish made from lamb and contained aubergines, not made from beef with no aubergines! It was also served in a dish which led me to believe that it had been prepared in advance and stored in a fridge/freezer. The Meze was lacking a number of elements with a stingy single Dolmades (stuffed vine leaf) per person. The dips were also lacking in taste and may as well have been bought from a supermarket. A real disappointment Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3"

"The mixed grill was delightful, and I particularly appreciated that it included a Tiger Prawn. For a perfect five-star experience, the prawns need to be fresher, though. Unfortunately, the Sag Paneer was disappointing; it was just dry spinach with chunks of paneer, lacking any seasoning or additional ingredients. It was quite dry, so I might request some cream and garam masala on the side next time and mix it myself! The service was average for an Indian restaurant, deserving of three stars. The staff were friendly, and it was pleasant to dine there. It's great to see that the restaurant has significantly improved since our last visit a few years ago."

"The food at this restaurant was really bad. The Caesar salad was just a small plate of salad with celery and cold chicken slices drenched in too much mayonnaise. It shouldn't even be called a Caesar salad. I decided to order the burger instead, but it was also disappointing. The patty was burnt and tasteless, the cheese was melted, and the burger bun was dry. The only thing that was edible was the chips. Despite both my friend and I not finishing our meals and letting the waitress know that it didn't taste good, we still had to pay full price for everything. I would recommend saving your money and going to McDonald's instead. The cocktails were also not great."

"My wife and I recently dined at Camden Maharani and enjoyed a meal of high quality at a reasonable price. The restaurant is conveniently located on Camden High Street. We saved over 30 pounds between us and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Camden Maharani. The only issue we encountered was with the parking lot, but we were able to find parking around the back. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience with great service in a beautiful Indian restaurant."

"Booked a table for 6pm for 4 of us. Picked up the other couple, parked by Dunelm, walked across to the restaurant...CLOSED and in darkness. No response, no notification, no dinner! Just had a response to the review made 2 years ago. The restaurant is now under new management (April 2024) so the previous review no longer applies. I wish the new owners all the best for the future."

"We visited Jasmine last October and had a fantastic meal, but tonight was really disappointing. The starters were just mediocre; my chicken chaat tasted as if it had been repurposed from another dish, and the channa puri was bland and resembled overcooked chickpeas soaked in red sugar water. We had both of these dishes before, and they were delicious! Additionally, they didn’t seem to expect us, even though we had made a reservation for my mother's 70th birthday party through OpenTable."

"We visited Moghuls for the second time and, just like our first visit, everything was exceptional. From the warm greeting when we arrived to our departure, the service was top-notch. The food was delicious, the drinks were spot-on, and the prices were incredibly good value. We definitely plan on returning in the near future."

"frightening customer service. rude and indifferentes personal. does not believe that we are booking for afternoon as “we do not take bookings in a weekend”. they gave us a table. tee arrived and the brioche so advertised was missing and the scones were rock hard. When I drew attention to it, I got “so you waited 10 minutes to tell me about the scenes”. there was also a language barrier, or at least it was like they didn't understand what we were trying to tell them. I never had such a terrible experience as this. Avoid this place as the plague. I wish I would be on trip advisor. the reviews for this place are not good."

"Antalya was close to our London hotel in Russell Square so we decided to try it: it was a wonderful meal in a very pretty place with excellent food and friendly service. The full dinner provides an excellent selection of hot and cold starters. Everything was very fresh and the portions were large. The baklava, served warm, was the best we’ve ever had. If you’re in London you must eat at Antalya!"

"I have used thefork postings for afternoon tea for many occasions, this time I also booked (caffe concerto) intention was for afternoon tea. However, when we went to the restaurant, they said that the ones we booked the place was 3 minutes further on the road, not this. when we arrived at the right place, I show them the bookings on my phone, they said oh his only normal booking, nothing special. on the menu on the afternoon tee section, there was no price range from what thefork had advertised, so we decided to go for the stock pasta selection instead. the whole idea of going there was looking forward to the afternoon tee. that has disappointed us. the pasta was in order, then we wanted to try the chocolate meal, that was most disappointed, the chocolate sauce was on the outside, instead of being in the middle, the sponge was a bit gummy. all in all we spent almost 90 pounds for a lunch. I'm sure I could eat better and get a better one if we had it in harrods. Yes, everything we felt was disappointed. only the girl served us was amazing."

"we have chosen our timing well for starting a brand new menu. the new Signature Mains are authentic Indian dishes that are fresh and sensational. that was the best Indian food I ever had. they will 't find the English curry standards on the menu (although I think they are available), but would urge everyone to get away from their usual favorite and try something new and exciting. we'll be back soon."

"Overall excellent, live duo (Thursday) great but performance area position could be better for diners not to have to sit next to PA speaker! Service food decor all great. I’d like to see table cloths or something to smarten up the tables as they look a bit dull but this is just a little feedback, we had a fab dinner, will recommend and look forward to our next visit. Thanks"

"We are currently staying with our friend in Forest Row for the month of December whilst she recuperates from a hip replacement operation. The added bonus is that we have managed to go to Roochi twice during our stay, once just my husband and I then the second time our friend joined us. Like normal, we were warmly greeted by the boss, Saiful Hussain, and his staff who are so friendly, helpful and can't do enough for you. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and the portions are huge. On our second visit I left my gloves behind, and one of the staff ran out to stop us getting into the car to return them to me. Thank you! Just one word of warning: it is advisable to book a table in advance as this is a very popular restaurant, not forgetting that it also does take away service as well as eat in, so the kitchen gets very busy. Many thanks to Saiful and his staff for making us feel so welcome and feeding us so well. It is excellent value for money particularly considering the quality of the food itself. We look forward to coming back again when we're next staying in Forest Row probably the end of February!"

"I popped into Broth3rs on a whim, on the way to the restaurant I intended to go to and I guess I'll never know whether that was a good idea. There's two ways into Broth3rs and I think I came in the back way. I walked through an alleyway, into a courtyard and then down a short hallway to the restaurant. The reservation system was by the door on the other side of the room. It was only awkward briefly as I was seen quickly and directed to a table. I got tap water without asking, which is great and serviced without a fuss. My meal was the Broth3rs pizza and then a slice of vanilla cheesecake. Hands down: the cheesecake was the best course. It's a bit unusual for the titular pizza in an Italian pizza to be beaten by dessert but it was. The pizza was fine, better than the cardboard from the franchises but not on par with the sourdough masterpieces I've become used to. The base felt almost dry and crumbly in comparison but I ate it eagerly. Equally, the topping wasn't heaped but it wasn't sparse either. In constant, the cheesecake came with cream, strawberries and a lovely sauce."

"This restaurant offers friendly service with a smile. The food is carefully made and the breakfast options looked delicious. I particularly enjoyed the granola and the black tea with milk. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere that adds to the overall experience."

"We had a pre theatre meal here as we were going to County Hall to see a play so didn't have a lot of time and only ate a main course each. Two of us had duck, one had chicken and one had lamb shank. We all agreed that the food was just OK very average to be honest. The portion sizes were adequate but sides like potatoes and veggies weren't included with our duck meals and prices were high to us anyway, so the food was expensive. Drinks were also a bit high and when you added 12.5% service charge on top, the meal really did cost far too much. Service was very good, though we had to chase the waiter at the end to pay for our bill as we had to get to the play! The venue was very nice. Would we go again? No."

"The restaurant was quite full at 7:30pm with large parties and noisy children. In fairness it was Valentine's Day. Whilst it is always nice to see families with children dining together the somewhat intimate ambience the brasserie seems to target does not seem best suited to young diners. Possibly the problem is that hotel does not offer a more suitable restaurant option for those with youngsters. The bar area serves food but is rather large and not exactly cosy. The food was OK. The onion soup was extremely tasty but the cheese in it was surprisingly over generous making it a struggle to eat. The wine list is as you would expect in a London hotel, was quite expensive but with some excellent options. I made the mistake of asking for a brief pause between starters and main which as it always inevitably does, turned into an unacceptably long delay."
