I have disabilities so I truly appreciate, staff's patience when delivering food. I feel guilty for constantly ordering from Balti Raj, I just can't stop. The food quality is amazing and honestly affordable. I have bought food from other restaurants, where the portion is just about enough for one person and everything is so expensive, that we have ended up going without food, at times. However, I have been grateful that we are getting something to eat and because of my grateful attitude. I have been blessed to remember about Balti Raj and we have been eating well since ordering from Balti Raj, Alhamdulillah. "I have been to this restaurant a few times now and am very happy with the food and the service. I was a bit sceptical when they decided not to seve alcohol any more. Having been back, they have an off licence next door which in fact works out cheaper. Courteous and friendly staff and I'm very happy with the food quality. "Used this place has a late night curry has my friend said it’s okay I had lamb madras and mild chicken curry with boiled rice and naan bread by the time I got home which was a 5 mile Trek across the other side of town the food was still piping or plus the owner gave us free Pompa Dom‘s and onion chutney which was a nice. Food tasted very nice. Location is easy to find has soon has you enter hersall lane its the 1st left just after the bathroom company and 200 yds on your right by the 1 junction food is good the takeaway building could do with a revamp otherwise I recommend this late night balti shop."

"Orders through just eat and the deliver time was an hour and ten minutes. After this time the app updated to say the food had been delivered but nothing had arrived. I rang direct and was told that the order had been lost in the kitchen and hadn't even been processed. Promised it would be delivered within half an hour. I rang again 45 minutes later and was told it was on the way. Order didn't arrive until a further 25 minutes later. Driver was apologetic and said a driver had broken down. Might have been believable if it hadn't been for the initial mistake with the order and the 2 hour delay. He offered half price next time but I assured him there wouldn't be a next time after such poor service. Sat down to cold food at 9pm after placing the order at 6.19pm. Just awful. Avoid at all costs."

"This was our first visit to this restaurant which is about 5 minutes walk from Chatham Station. There is a varied menu and plenty of vegetarian, fish and meat options. We had difficulty in making our choices, but the waitress made recommendations. The food was delicious and the portions were generous and it was excellent value. "The chicken Biriyani meals used to be of high quality but now too much salt has overpowered this particular meal which ruined the taste considering how much they are each one is now £12.95 and have gone up in price I would of expected better. spent over £30 and couldn't eat them because the salt taste made the meal impossible to eat. Poppadom's were 60p last year now have gone up to 95p in price I presume this is why there is a 20% off deliveries when you spend over £20. Very disappointed"

"I've been here longer than I remember and never had a bad experience. from my young family to ask at the table naan, and countless creepy dinners with my school friends, when the place looked like a transportcafé but had the best curry in french, I am always amazed that it was so easy to get a table. we made sure that it was so good if we first tried his new iteration, that the workers remembered what two of my party pests had eaten at a previous visit! we should rest soon. it is still the best, and whenever friends and family visits from all over the country, if they ask where they want to eat always say: “Can we go to adil?” despite the fact that there are probably fifty good curry houses between my house and stoney lane. but it is always worth making the wall for the best quality. and remarkable it is also not expensive. but don't tell anyone, I still want to get one table next time."

"Great take away for Indian food. We tried the Saag Paneer Muttar and the garam masala. We also ordered the special rice and chicken fried rice. It was great! Definitely my go to Indian take out in Aberdeen! To our surprise, we ordered pizza and it was amazing!!! We could not believe how tasty it was! Of course it's not authentic pizza but it's an Indian pizza. The bread tasted like naan and it's amazing! There were so many dishes to choose from and it took us quite awhile to decide which one we wanted to order. We waited quite long for the order but definitely worth the wait."

"Loved this place, really nice food good quality and reasonable price. Made my order on line, got a meal deal for over £30, but didn’t want 3 curries. Told them, no problem, really nice, had a glass of wine whilst waiting’ for my order I collected. Got home, guess waiting and we were item missing, called them, but the attitude of the guy who answered was shocking, he accused me of lying and said he had packed this himself, well it wasn’t and I wasn’t having this accusation. It wasn’t the fact it was 70p, or even £700, it was th the fact he was rude and started telling me about his banking issues. I’m done here, you keep the item, you’ve now lost a good customer. I won’t be spoken like this. You wasn’t busy as I was there, maybe thats why you’re losing customers, your treating them with contempt , if you need to lye to gain additional money, your not fit to trade,that’s stealing !"

"What used to be a great place to eat .Is now to be avoided al all costs whist the food is of a good standard .Cant say the same of the service we received, we had a table booked for 7.15 our drinks starter were served promptly .Then it all started to go downhill ,there was a steady flow of just eat delivery drivers in out after waiting for an hour we asked where are main meal .The waiter responded, with the following comment just eat comes first we will bring you your meal in a while .at which point we requested the bill for what we had been served A manager then came to our table to apologise ten minutes later are main course arrived .We wont be going back"
