"Myself, my daughter and her friend ate at Zizzi Bournemouth on Saturday night. I had booked the ÂŁ13.95 special but was told it was ony available Monday Thursday so could not use the offer. Having said that the meal we had was very nice and we all had starters and a main course each. It did work out to be more expensive than I had hoped to spend but the food was good."

"I went to Sprinkles Gelato in Basildon with my daughter for a treat. Our server was called Katie and she was really helpful and polite throughout, even when I had a problem ordering online and she had to use the till for me, it was problem for her. The food arrived quickly, within probably 10-15minutes of ordering as it was quiet, and it tasted delicious. We really like going Sprinkes as it’s the best ice cream dessert shop around and the desserts are always tasty so we go regularly."

"The new style Sunday lunch, which was NOT made clear through advertising or point of booking is a big let down from previous menu. Small starter choice, plated lunch with reheated shrivelled vegetables and served Luke warm. NO dessert included just brunch items like muffins to select. At ÂŁ15.95 a person this is very overpriced especially as a Marstons restaurant adjacent offes far better value for money. After making a complaint to customer services, I am really disappointed by the return email response. We chose St Davids as a special occasion birthday meal choice and can honestly say I would not recommend to others."

"I chose the set menu but did not mention it to the manager when placing my order. When I decided to order dessert, she became quite annoyed, loudly proclaiming that I had changed my mind and was now ordering the set menu to other staff, while huffing and puffing. After this incident, she stopped attending to my table and it was completely neglected. The service was terrible. However, I still left a tip because the other staff should not be penalized for the manager's disrespectful and poor attitude. I would still recommend Zizzi's, but be cautious of this grumpy manager!"

"Upon entering this lively Italian restaurant located in the heart of Richmond, we were welcomed by an atmosphere that expertly combined modern style with traditional Italian hospitality. The menu featured a tempting array of classic Italian dishes. Each plate showcased a delightful mix of robust flavors and fresh ingredients, artfully presented to elevate the dining experience. The meal was not only delicious but also visually stunning, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to excellence and authenticity. The owners, a delightful couple, frequently interacted with patrons, adding a personal touch that enhanced the dining experience. In conclusion, this Italian eatery in Richmond is a hidden treasure where cuisine, ambience, hospitality, and location merge to create a memorable dining experience."

"We visited Alps kitchen twice last week, whilst we were in London and I was receiving treatment at the Royal Free hospital. Alp was so friendly and very welcoming. Our meal was perfect, simple but delicious, grilled chicken with a fabulous salad and the most amazing fries ! Some lovely warm bread and butter with olives also accompanied our white wine which made it a most marvellous meal.We enjoyed it so much we returned with two friends at the end of our week and they were both equally impressed. We wish Alp and his attentive staff well during these most difficult of times and hope very much to dine in his restaurant again when we are back in London next January!"

"We have dined at this restaurant twice in the past few weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed our meals on both occasions. Despite being open for only a month, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We plan to take some pictures of the food during our next visit."

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The interior is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great for a fine dining experience with my family. The staff were very polite and I have to say, they have the best chicken in town. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with 2 sides, with a mango and passion flavor that was delicious and unique. My wife tried the chicken with waffles, a combination we had never had before but it was surprisingly good. One of the benefits of this place is the variety of desserts to choose from, perfect for someone with a sweet tooth like me. Overall, our first experience was excellent and we are looking forward to returning again soon."

"North African cuisine so good your mother in-law will love it and so will your wedding guests! I accidently discovered this little gem while on a stroll in Chiswick in 2006 and the food, amazing staff and the wonderful cheeky chap that runs the place,Chris, have always made it a worthwhile evening. As a Native North African, it was always hard to find restaurant food that comes close to home cooked cuisine from back home; Azou with it's cozy ambiance serves up dishes with the love of a homecooked meal coupled with the refined delicate flavours of a Michelin star restaurant. I have always enjoyed every meal at Azou, I even took my Mrs on a date there and she liked it so much she took her mom (a North African lady who refuses to eat anything from outside) and she loved it so much we ended up having our wedding dinner here. The food was great (as always) but beyond feeding the hungry guests, we want to thank Chris and his team for helping create one of our most cherished memories. We will be back as always."

"Venue is large and has ample screens but let down by the food and management . Ordered a Njuda Nachos so was expecting it to be meaty but received what I thought was regular nachos with salsa. Showed this to the waiter who couldn’t see any Sausage in it. The manager eventually came out stating it is mixed through the sauce but can’t be seen. There was hardly any sauce meaning that less than a bite of a small sausage might have been present. I was refunded 2/3rds of the cost . They brought out cash and I didn’t count it initially but when I did it was short a £2. I didn’t challenge this, having realised they just don’t have much of a clue here and that I’d rather watch the sport I was there for than kick up any more if a fuss. Bottom line just remove that dish from the menu if that is the actual dish. And when you say sorry and refund a customer just refund the whole dish why skimp on the last £2? There was plenty of attitude also so these guys just don’t really care. Shame because potential is there with size of the venue and screens everywhere. Perfect for drink and watching sport only just leave the food alone ."

"Nice food it was cold when served, but that was put right quickly [unfortunately it was a calzone, so disappointing when I cut right through it, then had to send it back! . Service very good, as always in this branch. But, despite the fact that they were only 2 woman and a baby in the place, I couldn't concentrate to read. The baby was a little grizzly, but that's nothing. The two women bellowed at one another, shouted down phones, and occasionally shrieked. I ate that calzone in about 20mins, I think.........."

"Newcastle Village Hotel, you can’t REALLY expect to deliver a shoddy cash-grabbing experience like the party of 09/12/2017 and not be called out on it. £30.00 for a turkey dinner? Maybe, for a quality Norfolk bird with ALL the trimmings cooked to perfection; absolutely NOT for this spew. In fact the difference between what it said on the menu and what was served up is so brazen that one can almost admire the cheek of it. The “Proscuitto Wrapped Turkey Breast” was not wrapped in ANYTHING: it was just cheap-tasting turkey breast, like cash and carry stuff. Likewise the “pigs in blankets” HAD NO BLANKETS: They were just cocktail sausages, and not quality ones but the type that contain trotters, ears and lips. The stuffing made Paxo taste like the work of a culinary master by comparison, and the only things I’ve EVER tasted that were soggier than the roast potatoes were the roast parsnips in the next tray along. I can’t comment on the sprouts or carrots as I don’t like either: it would have been nice to have had a greater choice. When the hotel emailed us the menu weeks earlier it asked about any dietary needs, so we advised that one of our party had a gluten intolerance. If he expected a bespoke meal he was sadly mistaken: on the night he was just told not to eat the sausages or the stuffing. Two and a half hours later, following complaints, the man who seemed to be in charge offered to knock up some gluten-free pasta. It was way too late by then. To be fair this has been my experience of Christmas parties over the years: the food is invariably overpriced and substandard yet enough people are persuaded to cough up in advance to make them highly lucrative ventures. It’s a cynical business, and the Village Hotel is down there with the worst of them. Oh yeah, and my cracker contained this tiny little spinning top."

"the service and eating were restless. I sat myself and a hospitable, but it took twenty minutes to take our order for everyone. it then arrived another twenty-five minutes before our drinks; it was just two beers, so no complicated order. our meals (no appetizers were ordered) arrived an hour and ten minutes after sitting. my order, a relatiw simple order of chicken milanese was not hot, in which did hardly warm, although my guests meal was delivered hot. the only positive is that the 'side' of focaccia brot was good. in the fact our 'alone tabletime' of ninety minutes would not have been enough to eat our one cure! I could not recommend in any wise carluccio 's in leeds trinity, it was shockingly bad; eating somewhere else would be my advice."

"The Longhorne Hotel has a fantastic nightlife and draws in great crowds of people. The restaurant on the ground floor offers excellent dining options. If you're looking for a delicious Sunday roast, this is a must-visit spot. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. They have recently introduced a new menu. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, making your dining experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to check out their website on Google Maps for more information."

"We were looking for a quick meal near the Millennium Centre before the opera, and Italian cuisine seemed like a good choice. The restaurant is spacious and bright, and during the early evening, it's a popular spot for young families. Since we were aware of our time constraint, we opted for pasta, and our waitress kindly reminded us that we needed to eat quickly. Our meals—Pasta della Casa and Crab Cannelloni—arrived promptly and were both delightful. The house pasta, which featured baked cassareccia, roasted chicken, pancetta, baby spinach, and a creamy sauce topped with Reggiano cheese, was rich and satisfying. The cannelloni turned out to be a lighter yet equally delicious option. While Zizzi isn’t a fine dining establishment, it’s perfect for a quick bite or a casual meal. Plus, it offers stunning views of Cardiff Bay, and its proximity to the Millennium Centre makes it an ideal spot for a pre-show dinner."

"The lady at front of house had a terrible attitude. Previous to booking through opentable I asked in person if I could book a table for, NO, NO bookings. I couldn’t even finish my sentence before she rudely shut me down. So I hopped on to Opentable where I could indeed book. I received my notification via email and turned up for my booking 1.5 hours after booking through the app. I was greeted again by the same terrible service by the same terrible woman. Rolling her eyes and saying no I have no booking. You are too early. We do not have it on our system. You will have to come back in 15 minutes. Incidentally the table we were eventually sat down at was free when we arrived for our assigned booking as I had saw it empty through the window when we turned up for our scheduled booking. A terrible start to what was otherwise a nice meal with tasty food and a fabulous dessert."
